Payment channel networks (PCNs) like the Lightning Network utterly failed to find product market fit, but interestingly, the concept is now being found useful for cross-chain transactions. Connext—which aims to make payments across Ethereum Rollups more efficient—allows liquidity providers to route transactions between Mainnet and L2s instantly, with no counter-party risk, using exactly the same technology as found in LN (Bitcoin) and Raiden (Ethereum). It turns out that for PCNs, it makes no difference which chain the nodes are on. The PCN can route a transaction between two nodes on the same chain just as easily as routing one transmitted between nodes on different chains. So while there are much better solutions than PCNs for intra-chain transactions, the properties of PCNs are quite good in comparison to alternatives for cross-chain transactions. It's a shitcoin clone of failed shit coin Daps which has its own shitty history. STAY AWAY would be my advice. Same guys who pumped PCN and Daps are involved in this shite I think. Dyor.
Peepcoin (PCN) back in 2018, I think it was around 3 sats, it ran to around 24 sats and I made around 400% profit on that trade (before it rugged), have no idea what the coin was, however it’s definitely the shittest shitcoin I’ve ever been involved with.
PCN (Peepcoin) was probably one of the few true “shitcoins” I’ve ever bought and made very good returns on. I don’t even remember what its purpose was.

So did I lol. It's really alot of money for me. I've had that same 1k invested in crypto since xrp was .30, maybe 3 years ago or so. I'm really hoping I can continue to build from here. What I did was I googled most recent cryptos. They obviously all had very low prices and market caps. I chose 3 of them, after doing some research on the projects, and making sure they weren't shit coins. No FLOKI, DOGE, or MOON anything lol. I landed on BIT, PCN, and ABLE. I put 100 into each. I was expecting to hold for 6-12 months. ABLE and PCN haven't moved much, but I think they are still good projects so I'm holding. Bit started moving, and the telegram was insane. To I looked into it more and got really excited. Ended up liquidating all my TEL and put about 1k into bit, then it took off. I've since cashed out, and like an IDIOT, I cashed out to BNB instead of BUSD. Not going so well at the moment. Once the price recovers a bit, I will transfer over, and wait for BIT to dip, so I can reinvest it all. After all, I'm only in it 1k.
The only difference is Doge is basically useless and PCN is for infections for Humans who would ultimately die due to Sepsis.

+1 to what PCN said. It’s mainly in NFTs. These are just functioning as pay walls, basically, but there’s many sex workers out there putting unreal effort into the NFTs they mint. Like there’s some good shit but like?? What else could there even be a use case for crypto re: porn industry??
