Oh man, that sucks! I hate it when that happens! Sweet! I've lived in Cambodia, Thailand, Viet Nam for some time and also visited Laos - Love SEA! Sok sabay! Sabai Sabai! Xin Chao! Chuol Muoy! Sabaidee kraaaaaaap! :-D Actually about to start working on a crypto project based in Viet Nam this week, basically a kind of decentralised professional services platform, something akin to Fiverr but for entrepreneurs. My intention isn''t to 'shill' the game, or the company, really, so not gonna go hunting for stats to 'prove' its popularity. I just figured it was a neat piece of news and they are someone who are an actual games developer with a history of making a ton of games, some of which have over 8 million downloads from app stores (although admittedly that's like, a small town in some parts of Asia haha) Nah from what I understand no reset needed, they are super keen to simply rewards the loyalty of the gamers thus far, but also want to branch out and try to find a way to expand into Western markets (which you will know is kinda tough since we no longer have students filling internet cafes smoking 40 Malboro & chugging 1L red bull for a week solid haha) That external-to-asia barrier is a tough one to overcome! There's been quite a few successful Neo Geo ported fighters, Garou, King of Fighters, Gundam, SNK vs Capcom, Beyblade etc. but in terms of pure "asian/anime" there's only a couple of detective story type I remember on Switch, and maybe Eternal Sonata from back in the PS1 days, Katamari Damacy and that kinda thing. There are also some other really great gaming projects underway. Cryowar I think will be the first crypto game to be built with the latest Unreal Engine (4?) and ExceedMe is an API layer that sits on top of Steam and allows you to Play To Earn on AAA titles such as Warzone.
