I started a brokerage account in 2007 when I saw the options were the Islamic dude or the princess of pantsuits... figured the gun stocks would jump. They did. Obama won. I had an account with 1k in Smith and wesson and American outdoor brands, also POWW,ammo maker. Those collectively went up 500% because Obama and the threat of gun control. From that moment on I've made all my trades based on politics. Now. That 1k has grown to 20k, grew to 189k and I took some out for various stuff, went down to 40k, down to 12k, up to 90k and back down to 4k which is about to go into a long call this week when rates come out . Its been all over. I've never put a dollar in but the initial seed. I've been playing with house money this entire time.

Whenever there is political craziness I invest in gun stocks like: Ammo Inc. (POWW), Smith & Wesson Brands (SWBI), Sturm, Ruger& Co. (RGR), Vista Outdoors Inc. (VSTO)
POWW: It could be volatile, but I am not all in at all at this point. Gunbroker is 'meh' as a web site and business model, the firearms industry overall in the US is doldrums for a while, and their ammo manufacturing is somewhat niche/limited applicability or just another range fodder in a crowded market of large producers. I'm not seeing any business reason for it to break out and stay out any time soon. But who knows? Maybe they have something interesting cooking in the background that I am not aware of. I'm just a dude.

TLRY was a shit show, sold out of them last year after holding for 4 years just hoping I could at least get to 0. RKLB, MOON, PUMP, NB and POWW are a few I have some in that I believe will eventually be much bigger. It's probably quite a ways down the road, too, but for now it's cheap-ish stock that looks good to me.
If you guys want a serious play, go physical gold and silver. It's a cool feeling to have some silver bars or coins on hand knowing you'll cash those in for 10x down the road.
