$AFMD, Affimed NV Just from first glance, it's not something I would invest in for these reasons: * Not cash flowing * Negative operating income * Share count is rising * Debt is rising Until it has a profitable product it's stuck in a loop of equity issuance or debt issuance. Two things that lead to total losses on investments. What I like about it from first glance: * Sales/Gross Profit is rising * They appear to have a lot of cash on the balance sheet, but they're also burning a significant amount of cash. Final Judgement: Hard Pass due to very high risk of complete capital loss.
AFMD looks very interesting!! Announced earnings on the 10th, was at .54, went to .50 on the 18th, then traveled to .57 now. Listed strong buy!! Will keep an eye on this one.

i sold this one awhile ago. Horrible management. Another german biotech that is eventually that is headed for bankruptcy just like AFMD.
These situations are where I would try to find something similarly beat down and hope it can bounce. Bunch of biotech taken to the woodshed that still have promising futures. You could gamble it on something like LPTX or AFMD and recuperate.
FATE, AFMD both well priced. For non biotech, I think CVNA is a long term winner

Check out FATE, TWST, and AFMD as other speculative stuff ( Cathie pretty much popularized some of those though) I hope you bought your HYLN at a better time than me, down almost 40%. Oof

AFMD has been killing it lately I kinda regret not buying more last week
I'm a high school student from the US. Currently I have $10,000 invested in the following: 1. 2.7 shares of VOO 2. 40 shares of AGNC 3. 745 shares of PRVB 4. 230 shares of AFMD. I'm currently unemployed and have $15000 in cash that I want to invest. My time horizon isn't anytime soon but I would like to use the market as a secondary source of income. I don't mind taking risk as long as there is a reasonable chance it will pay out in the end. I know my portfolio is not diverse at all, and I would like suggestions for diversifying it and anything that would help my situation out.

What are you talking about? Memes stock are less than 40%. Have you looked into the rest? AFMD is a top mover today. Even memes stock are legitimate companies, they just need about a year to pick up, especially BB when they release Ivy. AFMD Looks like 4/13 is when afmd is presenting data. Data releases are extremely nerve racking. There will likely be big swings leading up to it...like 10% one way or the other. Not crazy crazy big swings. After data is released is when a much larger increase/decrease can happen. I have a lot of shares. Been holding for 5 years.
