I would’ve believed this in July/august, but now that AMD, Dell, Lite, ALAB etc have all been ripping and surpassing summer highs in some cases I think memory will eventually pass it’s summer highs in next few weeks/ 1-2 months

Made a nice gain on ALAB and LITE. Bought 2 years ago, sold both 3 months ago. Made a huge down-payment on our house. Would never been possible without those investments. It's not like you liquidated to go hig wild gambling. You transferred wealth into a different asset - real estate. Overall pretty big win in my book. I do 50% DCA and 50% stock picking so I'm waiting for that dip but chugging along in the meantime.

I like buy contracts on the mid and selling them on the mid. I do it with NDX contracts and pick up 200 bucks a pop. Ive done it on ALAB, RDDT, and others that sell with wide bid ask spreads
For me it’s the trades I didn’t have conviction on, which is all of them. Literally. I started trading in 2017 or maybe even 2016 I don’t even remember. Anyway, I never had much money but I should’ve just bought and held stocks. I had PLTR sub $9 basis, HOOD sub $15 basis, I had ALAB at $69 cost basis. I sold BTC for a loss when it crashed from $7k to $2k and never looked back until Doge came out in Robinhood. I had hundred of thousands of Doge, but I sold for a loss when they were about .0004 cents or something like that. When it started pumping I said to myself fuck that scam as I watched it climb to .75 cents. I had TSLA at $420 basis 3 splits ago. And I had SPY that I had literally said “I’m done with options” that was Feb 2019 I had a fat tax return and dumped it all into SPY. Then COVID took 30% of it and I of course sold at the bottom before the most epic recovery in the history of the market. Still don’t own any shares of anything. Been all options and I’m still down but I’m still here. I ain’t hear no bell.
5ish minutes till S&P500 rebalancing announcement. Will probably see big moves on BE, ALAB, and LNG if you still need to lose money before weekend.

You trim after hitting ATH. All stocks eventually go down and some even plummet like AMAT and ALAB. Thats when you buy the dips and eventually the stock will climb back to ATH. Of course, you do that on stocks that have strong fundamentals.

AAOI is #1 due to asymmetrical potential. Lite and Cohr is #2 tied. I have some axti and sive as speculative plays. I don’t hold them but lwlg and poet are also speculative that might be worth a punt. I honestly think you can’t go wrong also holding AVGO, Mrvl, cien, crdo, and ALAB. Tsem is also good. I bought them at $130 and sold at $210. So many opportunities out there so I closed it to help me keep focused. Gun to my head, top 3 are AVGO, LITE, COHR. But I have no problem recommending AAOI, MRVL, CRDO, ALAB as their photonics numbers will seriously show up in earnings in 2027+. The market is front running all of them.

Yeah, I think my problem is that Broadcom dropped heavily after earnings despite them being great due to lower than expected guidance and their software arm. I think ALAB will post amazing numbers, I'm just unsure about guidance, revenue concentration and overall semi sentiment.

Anybody thinking semis stories is done will be in for a major surprise in August as multiple semi companies from $AMD $SNDK $ALAB $AAOI that report this week and many more next week that will re-iterate how big the AI story and spend is. The de-leveraging happened right at the beginning of their earnings report. If you think the MM didn’t play you or if you turned bearish you fell for it. Now watch August tear your bearish stories and you turn bullish late when the tutes have already bought in and again you start chasing. Seen this cycle many a time.

Big week. SNDK and WDC are going to be the ones I am concentrating on plus ALAB, ANET, OKLO.
Its still MU and sndk. Memory is the biggest bottleneck for AI by far. Because the market selloff continues a lot are at good prices. Id say keep other companies like ALAB and CRDO for the future too though. Their growth and margins already high and they will be ready for the future too. That being said, Im not buying any atm, MU and sndk are the best companies on the market with intense growth that hasnt even cooled at all.
