$ALAB popping and will make you big gainz
Glad I had CRDO and ALAB on my watchlist to buy this week and never pulled the trigger, now I can spend all weekend lamenting gains I could’ve had
$ALAB will trade up to $200 with the quickness!
Earnings parlays have been going very well for me this week CLS -> STX -> GOOG so far. GOOG -> RDDT -> ALAB next.
Any chips: I like RMBS/ALAB/CRDO, ride GLXY back up or gamble on MP with the chyna meeting
ALAB is a buy sub 175$ your welcome
All tech, but that's where the growth is ALAB ANET MU NVDA CRDO ASML TSM
#TLDR --- Ticker: POET Direction: Up Prognosis: Potential M&A target. Catalyst: ALAB's acquisition of a photonics company (aiXscale) has put blood in the water for competitors. Potential Suitors: NVDA, AVGO, MRVL, AMD, or INTC might be looking to acquire a photonics company to keep up.
Agree and I like $ALAB but wanted to hear your thesis
What’s your thesis for $ALAB?
I listen to their ER and follow them pretty closely. The way to think about ALAB, CRDO, ANET, CSCO, and other networkers like NVDA, AVGO, MRVL is they will benefit from number of chips deployed. Nvidia for example has gone from 8 GPUs fused together to 72. Their next generation called Rubin will fuse 144 GPUs together. As this continues, the hyperscalers will need more Ethernet cables, AECs, switches, etc. Again, I hold all 3. If I were to rank them on safety, it would be Anet, followed by Crdo, then Alab. ALAB has stiff competition from Nvidia themselves as well as Broadcom and Marvell. Crdo has 70% market share in their space and don’t really compete with the big guns. If I were to tank them on growth potential I would say ALAB, followed by CRDO, and lastly ANET. ALAB is going through a blip due to analyst fears about more competition however the networking TAM is growing so rapidly they will continue to do well. They have 2 major catalysts in the next 2 weeks. First, Amazon reports next week which will help the stock since they are ALAB’s main customer. Then they will beat and raise again in their November 4 ER.
I have a big ALAB position. It’s taken a huge hit because analysts don’t understand the Intel/Nvidia partnership doesn’t really hurt ALAB. The new ESUN alliance certainly undermines ALAB’s which explains the 20% selloff this week. However I expect ALAB to eventually join.
On a TTM basis net income is $42M. This is a company growing revenues over 100% annually. They’re on a $1B revenue run rate and will only continue to grow due to the AI boom. I think it can be tricky to value such companies on fundamentals. One also needs to think of their place in the market and the niche they’re carving out. Because of the massive expansion in number of GPUs/XPUs being used, both ALAB and CRDO are feasting due to their niches. ANET is benefitting from the same dynamics but growing at a slower rate. All 3 will do well over the next 5 years.
Net income for ALAB has been negative for all financial years to far. CRDO has had negative Net income all the way up to 2024. It's first now in 2025 that they made black numbers. If and how that continues in the future, I do not know. If you look at ANET, on the other hand, they have a proven track of being profitable for many many years.
Hope for the both of us that your ALAB calls print https://preview.redd.it/flt6i5chk2wf1.png?width=960&format=png&auto=webp&s=0556fabae680889450d8bc11758a5b7e82a44342
ALAB is cooking and nobody wants to buy it which tells you it’s close to bottoming. People will look outside of the NVDA premium and ALAB supports the open ecosystem
I own all 3. ALAB and CRDO will double again next year. You just need to be able to stomach the volatility. They’re both growing at 100%+, profitable, no debt.
ALAB is getting to a better valuation but it’s under pressure now. I would say look into AMD. Think it hits a $1T MC eventually.
in one month, ALAB went down -110 points. YIKES!!
Came home drunk and saw futures getting annihilated. Picked up ALAB at 151, watched it go even lower, and fell asleep. Fully expected to wake up to the world ending but it's not. What were you guys doing to those banks?
ALAB dying has been interesting.
Someone give me some copium for my ALAB calls, I'm -60%😭
🙏 my ALAB bags https://preview.redd.it/nmdpd47dlfvf1.png?width=960&format=png&auto=webp&s=7e9047d4cf02fbbf502139d5e1f8a15be104b2bf
ALAB bounced back 4.4% in after-hours trading, showing some buyers are stepping in. With all the uncertainty around ESUN, I expect the stock to stay volatile today. If you're trading short-term, keep an eye on those support levels. Despite the ups and downs, I believe Astera’s platform still has solid long-term potential. It’s definitely worth keeping on your radar!
TSM +3.02% All AI stocks are going to rally. NVDA, SMCI, CRWV, ALAB, CRDO, NBIS ......
As an ALAB bagholder, Robinhood just glitched the price up to 169 and I got all excited. But nope, back to 160, no news
Lost 10k on ALAB calls yesterday. Recovery today please, my anoos is bleeding 🙏🙏
Guys, what’s the difference between ANET, ALAB, AVGO? Just trying to wrap my head around on what the MOAT for each.
ALAB down 30% in one week. Time to go in??
Its not because AMD. Nvidia revealed that Meta and Oracle are using spectrum-X ethernet for their data-center. Meta and Oracle are ALAB major custoemrs
#lost 10k on ALAB calls today, accelerating my losses by buying into the dip, AMA
Tell me what ALAB products are and how they are better than the competition.
I got ALAB after the first drop. I think it was bc nvidia was going to pick up some deal instead of alab. Alab is once again getting the shaft bc a good old boys group is forming in ai circle. I see this as a value play for alab, though. Alab is big. They're not going away anytime soon. Other companies will try to make deals with them, bc the good old boy ai inner circle is becoming too prestigous ane expensive. I remember when intel was eating amd alive back in the day. Everyone said amd was deae. But i noticed ms and sony tapped amd for their next gen console apus. Big companiss wouldn't ask someone to make chips for a 5 yr product if the company was going out of business. Amd used the money to get ryzen going snd took off. As long as alab has innovation and customers they'll keep going. And i think customers are getting tired of paying the nvidia premium.
I feel sorry to whoever held onto ALAB. OUCH!!
Holy fuck ALAB and CRDO getting absolutely torched
ALAB sell off seems a bit overdone, NVDA is still king!
ALAB calls getting obliterated
What's up with ALAB? Anyone know?
Where are all the $260 buyers for ALAB from *checks notes* 3 weeks ago…
What's with ALAB? It's been really weak lately, I cant find any news.
wtf is happening to ALAB
What is the deal with ALAB??
ALAB all those chips need to be connected to work together. Pick and shovel cash cow
if it goes up big tomorrow, I should thank the regard who panic assigned me his $200 ALAB shares
Ok, who fat fingered and assigned me 900 shares of ALAB at $200?
I feel like one of ALAB, ANET or POET might get an investment from one of the big players. I just happened to pick POET because of all the DD I've seen on here lately (recency bias and hopefully shit that sticks in redditors heads) and the 75M investment today. I'll be looking to see if there are any longer play options that look not too expensive on the others.
Idk I was up 20k on Google ALAB and AMD calls and just figured it was time for puts
ALAB quietly returning to ath! 🚀
Lmao insane rallies on CRDO and ALAB after the AMD news
UP - AMD, ALAB, MU Get rekt - NVDA, AVGO
ALAB flying up together with AMD. YES!
Sometimes it's just unpredictable. I sold CCs on ALAB with a $200 strike price when it was trading at around $60. And the stock went up as high as $250. The option price went up more than 40x
ALAB drilling into my anooos
They’ve been pumping at that rate for the last 6 months, market cap is still small, and committed capex is still growing towards data centers. They may pull back a bit, but it has room to run But also… check out ALAB, it’s going back to $250 quick
Nothing on Astera Labs? ALAB is killing it.
$ALAB kind of acting like $OKLO
ALAB is unbelievable lol
is ALAB ever coming back :(
I also got fucked by ALAB tryna buy the mini dip then it dumps 10 fucking percent
#what a piece of shit day. Got my anoos absolutely blown out trying to buy the GOOGL micro dip. Last week got BTFO trying to buy the ALAB dip.
Can ALAB please rip? I bought like 40k of labx on margin at a 219 cost basis and it's been drilling my anooos
I agree in principle, but nobody really knows when the spend will turn off for these data center/neo cloud operators. Infrastructure companies like VRT, VST, CRDO, ALAB, etc have 10X into becoming $30-$60B companies, that flow through run rate spend is now picking up among the next level. $300 for IREN is far fetched, but I also wouldn’t bet against those types getting to ~$50B level of cap either before things start breaking down. Heck, CRWV sits there right now.
If GOOGL and ALAB could just rip +5% into close then I could break even from Monday
yes; i miss ALAB bro
GOOGL and ALAB drilling my portfolio to the earths core
ALAB continuing to drill my anooos
Yep. I tried to catch ALAB's falling knife too. With no upcoming positive news or announcements for ALAB, I think it's pretty much cooked.
Why ALAB is in free fall ? Can someone pls explain
Terrible price action on ALAB. -24% off the highs.
What's with ALAB today? Any news?
What's going on with ALAB? Down big on no news.
Wtf is causing this ALAB dump???
