So my new investing thesis is basically "FDA will rubberstamp anything profitable" and the market has seemed not to have caught on so pricing is still reasonable. A lot of the smaller tickers I was watching did well surrounding an FDA action on one of their drugs/treatments. Finally went in with a sizable position in ARWR calls ahead of an upcoming action and I'm up over 300%. My keys here are to look for smaller-to-mid cap companies who can have a big swing on positive news, treatments that look pretty promising, and the drug themselves should either be highly-likely to get approved (think new use of existing drug so harms are mostly known), first-of-it's-kind, or in a super profitable area. The other key is to get in a month or two before the decision. Less than that and volatility usually spikes like crazy making them expensive and more risky than necessary. Looking at taking positions in ALDX (dry eyes treatment--eye drugs are usually super profitable) and INVA (new gonorrhea treatment that should work against strains resistant to current treatments). Both have FDA actions coming in mid-Dec so I'm keeping an eye out for a good opportunity to buy this months with an expry late in Dec or early Jan.

ALDX, finally about to pop off?
Don't screen thousands, screen 20. Look up good growth companies in Google Google chances are somebody has posted a top 10 article. Take not of which companies interest you the most, and build out a 20 stock watchlist. Then, take your time going through each one to see if it's something you want to invest in. I did this a year ago while making a drastic change to my overall investing stragety and have ended up with the following portfolio. MSFT, CTAS, BRK.B, V, WM, AZO, HD, LOW, ALDX. I dont want many more stocks than that because it becomes harder to keep up on them all. But I would like to own MNST and NVO in the future.
I wrote a text that went with this but I a regard and the text isn't showing up! Total degenerate and opened a T-IRA with intent to beat the S&P. Started with 1k and yolo'd into $FNGU. Made some nice trades in LETF but mainly was flat by year end. Big gamble in 2024. Mainly Biotechs! Big wins on $ALDX $ARQT $FATE and $HOWL. Had made wins and losses trying to scalp $LABU. While I swore off biotech by the end of 2021, November CPI of 2023 was a big signal of it's recovery! $XBI and $LABU are giving trading blows and matching with AI and Silicon!
ALDX in 2016. Sold it for a twice the price in '18
Lost about $14k on ALDX. Only stock I ever sold for a loss. Bought some back after the company spoke up about their future plans. If or when they eventually are bought out, I should recover most of my loss. But I'm done with Biotech.

That exact thing happened to me with EBET and I went on to lose all my gains and more. Trying to avoid penny stocks but I got sucked into ICU and TCBP for more losses. “Hopefully I’ve learned my lesson” as I buy ALDX. 🤣🤣😎😩🤦🏼♂️

Bought some OCT 20 ARDX $4.00c this morning. FDA approval/disapproval news should hit this week and supposedly there is an 88% probability that their drug is approved since it was already recommended by the advisory panel and the FDA has an 88% chance of approving a drug if it's passed by the advisory panel. It's also pumping now that people realized they confused ARDX with another ticker that did not get FDA approval - ALDX. Just an FYI for people to keep it on their radar.

I'm thinking of the bio-health sector type of stocks. I recently saw Pfizer purchase millions on PYXS (which is currently cheap it seems). I noticed a few other health sectors go up like ALDX. As others have mentioned, real-estate is when things are looking good. But for now, I would go with the health sector.

LTRPA is the play. Entry in 70-80s possible before $2. TRIP earnings were great, ran 30%. LTRPB ran 1000% last week. LTRPA coming of lows. Also ELAN has earnings Monday and they are expected to be awful and stock is at an all time low. Being flea and tick season and they have the market cornered I think numbers will be better than expected and it will bounce off it's current low. 20%+ EOSE and ALDX I've been alerting since 1.50 and 4. Now they are 3 and 7. ALDX CEO bought another million at 5.07. Waiting for a 5.85 re entry. Was waiting for 5.50 but I don't think it will happen. I see ALDX being $11 eoy. EOSE who knows. But low 2s to 3 has been happening quite frequently the last 2 weeks.

Breakout candidates for the week: \- GTLB: building higher lows in the last week, surfing the 10 and 20 day moving average, has been beaten down when it gets close to 60. Breakout over 60 is a buy for me. Will look at monthly calls. \- HCAT: recently regained its 50 day moving average and is on the 10 and 20 day moving average. Consolidation could go either way. Breakout above 17.50 is a buy. Would probably only do shares here. \- ALDX: recently regained its 200 day moving average and is surfing the 10 day moving average. Bollinger bands indicate it's a little overbought but we'll see. Breakout over 5.40 would be a buy signal. Will look at monthly calls. \- MRNA: Feel through the 10 day but found support on the 20 day. Would probably only act on a break above 175. \- CTIC: Fell through its 10 and 20 day. I'll watch to see if it finds support on the 50 day moving average. The last two times it touched the 50 day, 6/14 & 6/30, led to consecutive big green days. Could consider weeklies or monthlies here. \- ACET: On the day 10 moving average after a big move earlier this month. 20 day is catching up. Would look for a break above 18. Will look at monthlies to see if there's anything interesting out there.
ETEK high risk, big reward (merger play)NOVC which CLIQ owns a large stake is my best find of late. CGC and CRLBF look to be forming bottoms and with RBLX reversing the cannabis market could start seeing a reversal. Also chip/semiconductor manufacturering is a sector that could heat up with the drop of precious metals and oil, also a new bill being proposed. Bullish charts ALDX and EOSE. Being shorted on a green day(friday) and think they will come back stronger when the volume spikes and some buy algos are tripped. Not to sure about EOSE as a company, mainly playing the chart, low float/high short interest. ALDX is worth 7-9 similar to EIGR back at 4. ALDX could see 10+.
Buy ALDX. Their phase 3 trials end this quarter for a drug and im ready for them to moon early 2022 when they get FDA approval
