Anyone invested in AVGX? I bought it 6 weeks ago. It went up 34% and fell back to just above what I bought it.
Just bought some 2x leveraged AVGO, AVGX
I bought one share of JOBY and one JOBY/WS on 6/30/25, with doubts that they would go up so quickly. I usually drop chunks of 25k on shares and scalp what I can. The warrants were up somewhere around 241% today, and shares up 81%. Looking at only one of each today actually made me laugh. 29k on AVGX is over 200%, 25k on SOXL 69%. But those JOBY warrants man. Who knew.
Invest or trade? Impossible to expect any investment to return profits in a short period as five years knowing a black swan event can cripple that even if it later recovers. On the other hand. Actively traded 3x LETF can assuming one knows how to trade. TQQQ SOXL my favorites and 2x AVGX and NVDX or other high growth leveraged instruments can as well. No short cuts in the market. No guarantees. No one knows next five minutes. Definitely next five years. Any claiming they do are full of it.
As an alternative, you could consider in the future to buy AVGG/AVGX. You're not racing against theta but you get vol decay which I'd argue is more forgiving.
I sprinkled 25k on SOXL in the first week of April. Still holding that. Same amount on AVGX. I’m up today 204% on AVGX. Still holding that. Only 25 shares of PLTR from early April. 112 shares since early April are meh. Still holding. TSLL has been good. Sold a lot this week. Holding TSLA since April. We’ll see where it goes. Been taking profit here and there. Still holding 25k of QQQM since early April. Up 32.5% since. I’ll take all profit if I see the market going sideways or negative. No need to risk any profits. Long holds on GOOG, PLTR, NVDA, AVGO, AMD. This is play money in a brokerage account. I have a large Roth, a city pension, and rental properties. Wife has high salary in finance, a MBDR, a large 401k, etc. This artificial recession was too easy to pass up.
Me too I did something stupider I bought AVGX got lucky and sold it Monday before market close at 36$ ish . Bought more after earnings too. Before earnings was nice of course.
