As always: 1. Whatever I buy drops. 2. Whatever I sell goes nuclear. * Held T. Did nothing. Still holding. * Held PSKY. Does nothing. Still holding. * Sold UPRO Q1'26. It goes nuclear. * Sold BRZU Q1'26. It goes nuclear. * Sold UWM this fall. Went nuclear literally days after I sold. Not investment advice.
Vol decay, catastrophic loss the 1st time there is a bear market/recession that isn't like a month long, excessive leverage, and UPRO's prospectus LITERALLY saying it's not for long term holding due to vol decay and ONLY guaranteeing performance match on any timeline longer than a day. Not judging though. I also 2x and 3x leverage etfs so I belong here. I'm just saying most retards here don't know the risks nor care. My pussy ass bought UPRO on the 2022/2023 dips but sold out early 2024. Exited by BRZU Q1'25 before the massive run up. And still have my 2x SSO, 3x TNA, 2x UWM, and a few others.
I made a post about BRZU during COVID. Bought some leaps and forgot about them.
You can always buy BRZU, it's brazilian stock exchange x2 ETF and it's right in the middle of a cycle of high interest here so its already cheap and will get cheaper
Robinhood allowed me to buy EZJ and BRZU.
When deciding on what to invest in, I always look at the macro picture ahead: interest rates are expected to drop over the next 12-24 months. So, you'd pick stocks that benefit from what falls out of that: homebuilders (DHI), construction supply (BLDR), banks (regionals have been crushed due to high rates), and maybe even emerging markets like Brazil (BRZU)
Well, I took your idea on Mexican ETF yesterday… so thanks. Just trying to replicate it with low RSI ideas. Current one is BRZU or MDB
PBR getting slammed. I should have bet against that one instead of XOM. Haven’t played a Brazil stock since the BRZU in 2017. Took 9 months of bagholding to come out of that one.
Should’ve just bought puts on BRZU smh
BRZU is going to just keep going up with the rest of commodities
CIELO, VALE, and BRZU before the reverse split
You could’ve gone up that much just in leveraged etfs almost. BRZU, SOXL, etc..
Brazil, going short in some BRZU, I missed the last pump but I am looking to enter when it reaches 75 again
Was looking to open a position in BRZU X2 leverage Brazilian etf but I don't know much on what's happening only that bolsanero and covid are fucking the economy there
Can someone explain why my ITUB1 are moribund? THANK YOU I did very well with BRZU options through the Covid. I some of that into ITUB (Itau Unibanco) Recently they spun off their investment in XP, a digital bank. My ITUB options became ITUB1 which now include 2 Shares of XP, and now they have no value. ITUB options (without those 2 shares of XP) of the same date have value. I have 15 months, so I'm not flipping out too hard and yes, markets can be irrational. But this one makes no sense to me. THANK YOU. Side by side comparison: https://imgur.com/a/dH1tP9P
Sorry to hear that. Wishing all the best for you. When you have time - would be great to learn what happened in that month - was it a stock, 3x leveraged ETF (a friend of mine lost $80K in BRZU in March 2020) or something else. But agree - any thing in the stock market is not risk free.
No brother $BRZU is the way!! Tendies when Latin America recovers
The historical data says it didn't. Shows it steadily dropping ove a 4 month period not a sudden massive drop. https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/BRZU/history?period1=1577836800&period2=1588291200&interval=1d&filter=history&frequency=1d&includeAdjustedClose=true
Not a popular stock but BRZU is in an uptrend
I also day trade BRZU. Haven't touched that one in a couple days though cause it's inching closer to its 52wk high, and its volume is so low buying and selling calls and, especially, puts is pretty sketch.
i bought BRZU at about 3:30 and watched it drop 3%. then added more at EOD. hoping for an overnight pop as virtually every stochastic/rsi is so effing oversold that it should jump.
KMI no. All oil companies cut capx. PBR yes only because covid variant in Brazil. My wife just returned from Colombia. SA countries are several months behind on covid. Brazil will lag recovery. Check out volatility and price in BRZU.
Fuck yes I’m going full Brazilian right now PBR VALE and BRZU I’m going to be a Brazilianaire
I was balls deep in BRZU back in March, I think its time to bail now. Still long on brazilian butts tho.
Bought some dips cheap dips that are climbing, honestly don't even know wtf these are: BRZU and PBR
