And yet AOC did it to become a member of Congress. That's what donations/fundraising is all about and the vast majority of her donations came from small, individual donors. Plenty of other members of Congress that go this route too. She also mentioned how they need higher salaries and expenses. Why? Because it's hard to afford good staffers who aren't immediately rotating out to lobbyists on crap pay with the rents as high as they are in D.C. and the surrounding area. Plenty of articles about that situation that are out and you can Google.

What you look for is called Valuation models. For example one of the most popular valuation models is the discounted cash flow model (DCF). Its an estimation of a company’s discounted (back to present value) future cash flows + terminal value. The total sum is divided by the number of shares and voilà you got a theoretical share price. Many researchers (mainly in academia) also work with multivariable regression models which uses share price as a dependent variable. The independents are countless variables related to the company but for example a model could look something like this: Y = i + B1*Firm size (dummy var) + B2*D/E ratio + B3*Revenue + B4*Earnings + B5*Trading volume + e These models are used mainly to identify the drivers behind stock prices. There are also predictive models within the same field that estimates future movements, a good algoritm for this is worth millions. Needless to say, for the latter you need some knowledge of statistics. For the valuation models I recommend a book on corporate finance and one on valuation.

Even if it was, this post close, stock is valued at close on that day, unless this error carries until close tomorrow your thesis doesn't work. People trading in BRK A or other large dollar trades to make mistakes. Even institutions, which is why D&O insurance exists. It's probably just a mistake.

"Practical" is a relative term. If computer is not powerful enough yet, it doesn't make him "impractical". You can still use it as an educational platform, to teach students how quantum computers work. Or you can write software for it, create frameworks, test new ideas. So it's not completely useless. We, as developers, use IonQ computers (as well as Rigetti/D-WAVE/any other) as a fun toy. AWS Braket is freely available to everyone, just for a couple bucks you can write your own quantum program. Of course, the computational power they produce is not suitable for serious calculations yet, such as drug discovery or for direct carbon sequestration. Just to put in perspective, they currently have \~32 qubits. While the capacity needed for production use is somewhere around 500-1,000 qubits. Sooo I would say, it is possible to archive in 5-10 years horizon. But it's not as simple as just "add more qubits". Because at the same time, need to keep error rates low. More qubits doesn't always mean = better. Better is when you have more stable technology and then you can scale it. I'm not a quantum expert, but I work with cloud providers a lot.

There is never any such thing as "new normal". All debt is negative money which will eventually cancel out real money when it's zeroed out. What's happening now is basically, the Fed/Treasury tag-team is enaging in direct-to-market fractional reserve-banking by pushing lots of easy money into deep pockets, so those deep pockets can drive the market higher with leverage. But eventually, the end-result of totem-pole debt is that at some point, you run out of people to pass the buck to, and when the music stops, the realities of debt service cause cascading failures. The goverment can't go bankrupt, but private parties can. And that's TPTB's plan to get out of the box canyon they've got themselves in: Defaults in the private sector. Every issuer and bag holder who goes BK causes permanent loss of capital. That loss of capital reduces the money supply - it's the only avaiable steam valve which canl help those who control the printing presses. When the Feds starts to substantially reverse QE, then you will know that the writing on the wall. And if it looks like the D's are going to lose the House, that's when the liquidity will start to dry up. If it's coming soon, those in the know, will see it by May 2022. Between now and then, the D's have thrown the border wide open to increase "aggregate demand" for housing and consumables so as to prop-up their financial models. But my gut tells me that the open borders plan won't work: non-English speaking new residents are a net drain for years; they add some juice to the cash economy, but not enough for on the books - not for years. Soon, there will be a major black swan and it will involve some significant defaults. It's very close to happening in China - and probably in the US too.

There’s several SPAC centered twitter users who don’t P&D stocks per se. Many of them offer great DD and solid bull cases for why a particular SPAC is worth as a swing or a long. Where it gets murky is that one of the main Atlas guys is now tagging along on many of these SPAC plays within the twitter SPAC crew. I’m a little butthurt because this Atlas guy’s involvement in RDW resulted in destroying sentiment when his entire team ended up killed momentum after that stellar catalyst yesterday. Other than this guys involvement (and maybe one or two others) I honestly think people are blowing this way out of proportion. There’s nothing wrong with providing valid research on twitter for a stock and then following it up with hype. And in the case of SEAH. The people OP is accusing of leading a P&D ring were in fact tweeting about it while the price was hovering between $9.99 and $10.01. The atlas dude came on late but everyone else was already talking about SEAH.

Honestly the market didn't like them doing what they *SHOULD* be doing and it took a dive, which makes it more attractive at this multiple. Basically they said expect not as many buybacks and dividend increases because they're focusing on spending more on R&D to return to making the best products. Short term, that means shrinking margins, but it's the right thing to do longer term. Once foundry services and GPUs come on line they could have significant new businesses too, and them owning Mobileye is also an interesting part to invest in.
