First let me add a little context in case you or other don’t know what went down with the legend of GUH. It’s relevant to what happened to him. He went in on puts with the infinite money glitch that Robinhood had for a few days. Puts on AAPL specifically, right before their earnings call. His GUH reaction was when he realized he’d been wrecked. What was his DD you may be asking? It was that, according to him, AAPL was too woke because they had women executives. That’s it. He thought women executives meant Apple was doing it because DEI and therefore it would go bankrupt. Idk what happened between he and Robinhood. He deleted his Reddit account but was later found by some sleuths on YouTube. At the time, he had (maybe still does) a YouTube channel where he would narrate books. Then ppl would comment about his investment decisions and he’d go on weird transphobic rants out of literally nowhere. Like someone would comment about a woman, completely unrelated to him, and he would infer they were talking about him. Then he’d scream about how he wasn’t trans. Or he would proudly state that he had children and therefore his dna would survive. He kept going on about how he wasn’t an “evolutionary dead end, look it up” because clearly he had come across that term not in the appropriate setting and somehow clung on to the morphed idea of what it meant to him. Weird shit like that. He would reiterate the “I’m a father” thing so much because I think it validated him somehow. It sounded like he was lying. Either way, ppl kept trolling him and he would basically react by being the irl version of smug mask but actually crying wojak. Highly entertaining but kinda sad.

I work in the industry and am nyc based. ED pay varies wildly depending on your role. Some EDs are lucky to clear $200k. Some make 7 figures. It depends how close you are to revenue generation, and this lady was nothing but a cost center. Most big banks have already been slimming down their DEI roles because they’re nearly useless.
