I really don’t have a go to anymore. In the past year, I’ve watched less financial news television than I have in the past 25+ years. The reason being is that the market has been focused on two things - Donald Trump and the word AI. DT says pink and every stock related to pink goes up. The same with AI and their related stocks. I have always self managed my portfolio. Last year I decided to hire a company to manage half and they done very well. Me on the other hand not so much. It’s my first year of not beating the S&P. So I’m better not listening to any financial news and doing my homework as needed. And for now, minimizing trades.

My entire professional network works in these kind of firms. From firm's perspective, they have to protect their interests by keeping experienced resources and if they can't stay in US - send them to offshore offices, and save money on salary. DT has made numerous fake claims that Iran war is over which were all proven false shortly after. DT cannot unilaterally end the war, both parties must agree to end and clearly Iran is not going to do that. The main ways I see this playing out based on the facts: 1) Trump pulls US from Iran to “end war”. This would leave Iran in control of the straight who will continue to leverage it economically and likely craft enhanced tolls or completely restrict US from using as punishment for starting conflict. = OIL GO UP 2) Trump escalates attacks leading to Iran escalating attacks further destroying oil infrastructure in region and increasing cost of marine insurance due to risk. = OIL GO UP DT could make deal with Iran where US ends up with worse terms then what we had in JCPOA, forced to pay Iran reparations, and face increased shipping costs in region via tolls. However, to do this he would have to admit he fucked up attacking Iran and that his mistake will now put Americans at higher risk and cost them more money. Plus that Obama did a better job then him negotiating with Iran and DTs attempt to satisfy his own ego by trying to one up Obama lead to all US citizens/ the world to suffer. In this case that would = oil go down. But we know there is zero chance Trump admits anything that could make him look bad. He has denied responsibility for all of his bad decisions thus far and his ego will not let that change period. How are you looking at this? Wilson and Roosevelt are the top dogs when it comes to % of debt growth, no other President has ever come close. The next three are Regan Bush JR and Obama. After DT’s second term he will probably knock one of them out of the top 5. His spending by term is no different than Biden’s. We are in different time, the national debt started ballooning in 80’s and never stopped. Clinton received a lot of good press for his fiscal policies and there was a trillion of debt added under his terms. The debt is a run away train. You need the economy booming and interest rates low to slow it down. Unfortunately, the economy isn’t as strong as it can be.

Just a tip because I genuinely don't like you tards losing money. Tommorow is OPEX day. OPEX day is the specific date when financial options contracts expire. Meaning lot of options will expire tomorrow Max sure to check out the max pain(the number where most options will expire worthless) for your stocks or indexes if you plan to play 0DT. It's not 100% accurate but they tend to pin the price CLOSE TO this number most of the time. this can be quite a shit day to play options. I personally usually avoid it. but keep this is mind trading tommorow.

Taught me a valuable lesson. Don’t try to outsmart the markets. You can be 100% right about what’s going on in the world but the market itself will do its own thing. You have to watch the market’s reaction to stuff and make decisions based on what it does, not on what makes sense. And the market reacts viscerally to everything DT says, even if it is 100% false.

Why would that make it unlikely? I get that, as a country, you don't want your own main Telco that you use for defense and governemnt internet and communications to be owned by a foreign company so they wouldn't be likely to sell their Deutsche Telecom stocks but T Mobile US is a standalone company that DT just founded I'm not sure why they wouldn't monetize that stake at some point if the deal is right.
