If your SL can be beyond the Liquidity price action then you can assess that zone for further scaled entries. I am considering using ATR for this but placing SL at the more conservative swings seem to work but obviously maxing RR would be nice. Main thing is probability as I keep highlighting. DTs and DBs at support and resistance move markets. Any reversal is some form of DB or DT on some form of support or resistance. And support and resistance levels are price magnets so the sweeps totally make sense

No offense but what is the purpose of this exercise?! To see if you can hit/miss without actual risk involved?! Decision making is simply not the same without that factor present. Like preparing for drivers licence by playing race sims. Little or no value there. I would rather say, if you decide to DT first learn the basics (platform, platform options, trade methods etc.), start small and be ready to lose, and collect lessons and exp along the way. Different exchanges have different trading pairs. If you want to find out about all of the different pairs that exist I suggest CoinMarketCap. Under the markets tab you can find links to all different exchanges or dexes where you can find that coin as well as trading pairs. Not every pair exists everywhere. USDT BTC is an easy one though and available on most exchanges. Maybe I misunderstanding you but remember if the exchange has BTC-USDT then al you need to do is sell instead of buy and it’s like a BTC-USDT buying pair if that makes sense — so pair will exist only in one direction. If you’re exchange really does not have US DT, then you probably would have to buy that with some thing else such as USDC or maybe US dollar or other fiat. Hope This helps!

Ok... probs gonna get downvoted to fuck for this but here goes..... You've never traded (by the sound of things) and you dump $5k into an account after watching some youtube videos?? You have to learn how to trade. There's no such thing as safe trading. It's all risk based, and the key risk management. On top of that, a few videos on YT won't give you the necessary skill set to interpret (educated guess, yes, but better than a totally blind guess) TA'd charts. How many of said scalping strategies did you back test? Did you back test them 100+ times? Figured out if the strat you decided on using has an ok win ratio, in crypto markets specifically? No, no you didn't. The outcome is expected. Trading is like anything else, you need to practice and it takes time to be able to understand the mechanisms behind market fluctuations and where to get in and when to just hold back. I bet you got sliced up on ranging trades. Does your strat include any sort of money flow? Again, I'm guessing probably not. Just to clarify, this is not to put you down, but to point out that this exact mentality is what leads this sub in particular to spout the auto response of hodl and DCA.... THAT'S NOT WHAT I DO, AND I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO IT, SO IT BAAAAADDDDDD. If you really want to give it a go, prepare properly, and DON'T risk real money until you've paper traded and feel comfortable with your understanding of whatever strat you end up going with. Make a throw away account (with a temp email address) on bybit, as they have a pretty good paper trading demo account set up, that mirrors live markets. You can play there until you get the hang of it. Treat the paper account as if it's real money, your money, and truly only take trades you would actually consider. Don't lie to yourself about how good your paper trading is going. It's a proving ground, and a pretty good practice tool, if you use it correctly. Hope that helps. Also, don't worry, DT isn't for everyone. It can be stressful, so don't beat yourself up over it. Getting furious over trying it won't make a difference, the money's gone. If you've learned something from this, it was probably a good thing... not $2000.00 good, but good none the less. PS: ...and for the love of... don't actually use bybit for live trading. Once you're done with your paper trading and have back tested your strat, rather use FTX or Binance (if not in the US). Kinda OT: you didn't specify, was this spot or futures? With spot, and the current dump you would have gotten minced.
