I have been in your situation and I am probably still in a similar broke-ish life pattern. I have been doing crypto here and there on occasion since 2021, earning some, loosing some, breaking even and now I am down 60% from my initial investment. Don't play BiTCussian roulette! Just throwing money at it won't do you any good. For the basics, I strongly recommend [Ross Cameron - Warrior Trading ](https://youtube.com/@daytradewarrior?si=wcjAzbZ_OhBs_U4j), he has audited books and proof of success. 1st point: Don't take advice from youtubers that don't have any proof of being profitable. And even if they show you green numbers, if those aren't official tax audits, be suspicious as hell. 2nd point: DO NOT SEND YOUR DATA TO ELON MUSK OR JEFF BEZOS! It seems stupid but believe me, the most risky behavior beyond trading are scams. Be careful and behave like you are handling real money. You wouldn't give your wallet to anyone random you'd meet in the street right? Do the same. [Investopedia](https://www.investopedia.com/) is my go-to platform when I have questions, need info, review the basics, etc. It is clear, well documented and helped me grasp countless concepts and uses of what is needed to get into the trading war zone. 3rd point: Practice, practice, practice. Start on a simulator, or if you're like me (a bit reckless), bet only by 0.10 to 1USD first. Take notes, try to make the most out of what you can learn by doing. But again and again and again, document and educate yourself. 4th point: Be disciplined 5th point: Only trade money you can afford to lose. You're not making much money, so be extra careful. What I did was not go to parties and use half of what I saved to put on an exchange. 6th point: ONLY USE A REPUTABLE EXCHANGE!!! Like Kraken, Binance, etc. Do your homework.
