You can easily support community impact through managers like Community Capital Management. They offer a bond fund. For equities, its harder but check ETHO and DEMZ

ERTH: companies that contribute to sustainability and low carbon economy ETHO: companies that are the most climate efficient in the US

Climate change results in catastrophe \*only\* if it is not managed. We are currently on track for a 3+ deg C increase in average temperature. But efforts are underway to transition to a low-carbon economy and therefore a 2 deg C increase. How much is the investment needed? Around 190 trillion USD by 2030!! In other words, there are \*opportunities\* in transition to a green economy, and one that has been enshrined in pledges both by public and private institutions. New energy generation, energy efficiency technology, sustainable practices, increase in carbon price and changing customer demands. A very obvious one: carbon price. It is expected that carbon price needs to be at around 100 USD/eCO2MT in order to achieve the 2 deg transition. What is the current carbon price now? In Europe (the highest) it is only \~37 EUR! And yet the targeted emission reduction in the next few decades already mandates that there be 7% increase in carbon price per annum! My own portfolio reflects this. There will be a cost to investments which do not price in future carbon price, future policies, future "green" and sustainable product/service demand, etc. That's why I am invested in: ERTH: MSCI Sustainable Future ETF, companies which contribute to transition to a more sustainable future ETHO: Top 50% companies in the US which are more efficient in climate change transition (includes even Scope 3 carbon emission consideration!) HSXD: Top companies in Asia Pacific with 50% less carbon emission KRBN:
