lately I have been considering only taking profit based on percentages... for example anywhere between 30% - 100% I will definitely realize some gains. It's the only way to ensure growth.. $AMAM very rare you get plays like these... obviously every play is different. If it gets HALTED, continuation is that much more LIKELY. some things i've learned.. an important thing is to remember is that it's a marathon and not a sprint.. you should be able to trade in a way you can keep on going and not get unnerved.. therefore (it's cliche but) only trade what you are willing to lose in the beginning, (when building a starter..) the more you watch it and the higher volume gets and social sentiment,,, and the closer you get to upcoming PR, you can average down/up as needed and watch it more closely... at some point your confidence should be so high you are willing to throw your whole portfolio into a single name... My dad always told me, Once money leaves your hands it's not your money anymore.. MOST IMPORTANTLY ALWAYS TAKE PROFIT,,, like i said 30% to 100% is cool, very rare to see those gains,, much more common to see losses.. don't be a statistic. LASTLY,,, i don't trade chinese names... I'm not racist... i've had bad experiences with the majority of them and yeah you can hold long enough to get your gains back but.... look at EQOS,,,, delisted from $5 entry.... not cool look at FAMI,,,, a ton of people bought at $1-2 then a huge reverse split with no bounce... final summation....... buy the fear,,, sell the strength...

Take FAMI for instance. (all numbers are approximate, but close enough for this example.) Spring of 2021 they were doing great business. They were regularly between $1-2, and in APR21 they issued a ton more shares at a low price, and that instantly lowered the stock from $.78 to $.30. No problem. Solid business, regularly announcing new contracts - they will certainly rebound back up from the price. BUY @ .30 for med hold (6M-1YR). Watch it get up to $.69 by June... all going according to plan... it is solidly trending up... HOLD. Then it falls off a cliff, , and it just dropped all the way to $.36. No problem... HOLD. It will bounce back up. 4 months later, it went from .38 to .48 in a day, then went over .50, and I got out. Perfect timing, it was back down to .26 the next day. Then down to $.19. All the while, the FAMI "apes" are HODLING and DCA, because this "WILL HIT $2!!!" So, after a year of non-compliance, and an extension, they did a 25:1 reverse split. None of the "apes" knew what happened. "I used to have 10,000 shares, now I have 400 shares! wat happun??" But it took the price back up from $.05 to $1.50. And then it has consistently dropped again over the past 4 months to $.76. The point is that this was a good company doing good business, so at any point along the way it looked good to average down. But what all these "apes" that were "hodling" and averaging down failed to miss was that this stock was doing amazing volume and was making daily moves in the 4-8% range. After my long scary hold, I day traded it for 2%-3% daily and made more in the next month than I stood to gain with my intended 300% medium hold play. And the apes are STILL hodling. How many of those poor sods thought $.05 was a blessing, quadrupled their position, and then got wiped out by the split? Yes, with blue chip and big companies that are down right now, DCA. ABSOLUTELY. But as an overall trading strategy, it's a coin flip.

I got bit by that when FAMI did it. TD Ameritrade refunded me though, just had to call and explain and say it was my first time and I didnโt know about the fee. Also I believe Schwab doesnโt charge a fee for this, FYI.

Definitely FAMI in a single trade. I bought $20k in a single trade and held overnight. That night, they released news of an offering. I couldnโt sell until morning and fidelity didnโt let me trade until 7am the next morning.
It was many bad choices over several months. Too many to list lol. Had a 10k loss overnight on FAMI offering

Companies can be granted extensions on delisting requirement fulfilment. To my knowledge $FAMI applied for this last year and was given a 6 month extension. $SOS clearly didnโt apply or their application was rejected so they only get the usual 1 month warning

Honestly, I would sell if I were you and move on to something else. The problem with FAMI and other Chinese stocks is that I just donโt trust their numbers. These companies donโt have the same auditing requirements as US companies and if you look at other Chinese companies, they all have great fundamentals such as PE but itโs seems fishy to me.

I don't get this as a "value play" and eff the people lying about it being a short squeeze. You want value, try FAMI, you want value with a squeeze, try BGFV, you want big frikken value, go with KHOTF. So many better options out there. I'm not saying volume won't be there tomorrow, so not financial advice, but be careful.

I wait until I see the volume, you never know which way the meme flies. But FAMI always seems to have volume, seems to be a popular penny stock that has huge waves every few months. FNKO seems very meme-able as everyone knows what they sell. Plus, it's in the name - Funko pop! I'm currently frustrated as I have been the biggest fan of RCAT on this sub but sold for another play. Typical.
