If you Google "FRCB stock", every finance hit shows the stock became worthless and states the company is out of business. If you're going to buy a bond from a company, it shouldn't be too much work to look them up to understand how their financials are doing.

They are delaying the plunge, that is all. The collapse (like Enron and First Republic Bank) will come, regardless of manipulation to trying to pump it. ENE, FRCB FFIE, AMC, BSC... TSLA... eventually the reaper comes to call.
When one of your first majors trades was buying $6k of FRCB that's now worth pennies in your account, and it was all because of crypto ponzi scheme. Which is somehow still a thing, now with world leaders even promoting it. Hard to not feel like this market risque.

Everyone lost a lot of money in shitty or hyped stocks. But I lost a decent amount of money in a regional bank that just took nosedive during 2023 bank crisis. I still have 1400+ stocks of FRCB in my portfolio. Each stock at its highest was worth $222. Now, a total 1400+ stocks are worth about $14.
I lost ~$30k on FRCB. Idk what “cut your losses” means, so definitely could’ve lost more. Made that back this year and then some.

Call RH. I have FRCB which was a failed bank but my broker is Chase. Anyway when I called they had an agent sell my shares in the OTC or something. So no way to get rid of it on the app

I think 10% is totally reasonable. Read book on options that said on average sellers net 6% and buyers have a net loss it didn’t say how much!?! Limitless loss to theoretical $0. I tried to get cute and play FRCB calls and they got assigned. I own 500 shares. They aren’t worth enough to buy my kid a happy meal and JPM bought them out so I’m a forever bag holder. Should have bought MCD!

You have to go study balance sheets. Look at interest-earning checking/saving and interest-earning assets. If the checking/saving liabilities outweigh the assets, all you need is for JP Morgan to initiate the bank runs and the banks will collapse. Go back and study how FRCB and SVB fell and you’ll know how to find who’s next. Technically every bank would collapse if it experienced a bank run but some are “too big to fail.”
That didn't save SVB or FRCB shareholders.

Those people have a very short memory of what happened to FRCB and SIVBQ. After the ticker changes and being put into receivership they do still trade as OTC penny stocks, I suppose. Can't imagine there's much volume on 'em since they're essentially without worth, stockholders are the immediate casualty of something like this.

Yeah, I mean. Over the past 12 months, Wells Fargo has closed 258 branches, JPMorgan Chase 165, and Bank of America nearly 100. Creditcard applications are through the roof also, buy now pay later services such as Affirm went way up in value. The only two banks im bullish on are $FRCB and $SNBY, but that is for different reasons.
Don't worry you won't have time ever sell. The shares will get liquidated for you in bankruptcy. SORUCE: it happened to me with $FRCB

We cant explain a lot of happenings in the market lately… take a look at FRCB the bank that went bankrupt. Very strange trading volumes that don’t make sense. Anytime I ask whats going on, I never get a straight answer and my posts get removed.

No broker, bank or anyone would consider this stock as collateral for temporary liquidity. If you loaned someone $1500 and for collateral gave you a broken iPhone 9 would you take that? Likewise, no one loaning anyone money would accept FRCB as collateral

The first stock I bought was FRCB after the initial crash. I followed no advice and was basically guessing based on my own logic. I figured the government wouldn’t allow the bank to fail and it’s then current price of $20 would eventually recover to at least 40% of what it was very recently (over $200). I was wrong, it became a total loss. Honestly this was a valuable lesson to learn early in my investing. I now seek research before purchasing anything

FRCB. Don't even see it as much of a risk. Just something that'll pop and take off in the near future. First Republic was bought up by JP Morgan. Right now it's at around .36 cents.

Read this carefully if you don’t want to get f***ed over by early assignment. By default, your broker will proactively exercise the other leg if you get assigned early. This is exactly what f*** you over. What you want to do is to manually stop the exercise so you don’t lose the extrinsic value (time) of the other leg (i know Robinhood allows you to do this, i lose like 1k cuz i didn’t stop my FRC $1 call from exercising when the $0.5 call get assigned, FRCB went way under $0.5). You will need to watch your position after market close every single day to see if you get assigned to stop the other leg from exercising.

this year has been nice for me. up 70% from the bottom 2023, but still down 20 from ATH in June last year. YTD is up around 40%. I really got caught seriously during December January hectic kangaroo and defended -4000/4050c and a few puts that were not meant to be. Afterwards my serious loss was only two: one when I tried to "channel surf" and one max loss on one short put on FRCB. Mostly short term theta-strats and diagonals.
Pretty much nothing. There way be some small assets FRCB/SIVBQ have claim to but it isn't anything substantial. If you're hoping they bounce back it literally isn't possible. They don't own the organizations you as a consumer would recognize.

Off-topic, aside from the fact that you're all degenerate gamblers: why are (bankrupt) SBNY (2x in 24 hours) and FRCB (5x in 2 weeks) on a tear? Who would be buying these and why? I can't find any stories on what's driving this. Any ideas? Seems like shorting a bankrupt company should be a no brainer ... is this people covering positions?
