> defensive core against market crash Your defense against market crashes is the fact that you have 30-40 years. The market can (and will) crash over and over and over; it's not a big deal. Forget UTES, XAR, QTUM, and FTWU. > I have CLOZ/CLOX/FSCO/OUNZ as purely a safety net of capital preservation Also totally unnecessary. If this is for 30-40 years from now there's zero need to worry about capital preservation. Time is your friend.

FSCO with dividend yield at 11.36%. With $50K, you will have about 7,500 shares on it and that's about $4,650 in dividends. But if you believe in BTC going to 100K and will hold in there, BITO might be a good bet with dividend yield at >57%

FSCO. Pre-ipo, they were returning about 8% annual for about 5 years and paying out every month consistently. The price dropped after they went public and they have raised the dividend multiple times in the last year. They are paying out about half into dividends and reinvesting the rest so the fund continues to grow. They deal in credit. They are paying out currently 11.37% dividend at the moment.

I earn about 11-12% on FSCO, but I reinvest it all so I wouldn't say I live comfortably off it or could not in my area. To earn 6k a month, you would still need 600k in fsco. Starting at say 200k, that would take about 10 years to get to, but probably another 3 years to make up for inflation. There is always the possibility that stock increases or decreases, of course, or they raise dividends, which they have several times. Of course, there is always risk involved with investing in a single stock.

Get into a dividend stock like FSCO (~11% a year), put automatic dividend reinvestment on, and just ignore it for a year. Don't worry about short-term losses, that is for Vegas. Play for the long term.
