In FTCI at $2.72...solar getting hot 🔥
I can't find any news on FTCI, but it's going straight up. weird
What is FTCI and why do I keep seeing people pump it?
[$FTCI](https://aimytrade.io/ticker/ftci?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=comment&utm_campaign=SmallStreetBets&utm_term=FTCI&utm_content=template_1786521299010_5eipfo) popped back onto my radar. The reaction to guidance often tells you more than the number itself. Educational read.
Sorry this is too late. I hope you ended up banking. I've been burned WAY to many times by holding or jumping back in until the afternoon. I made a ton on MPOX.... there's been little spikes here and there (esp w GOVX). Even though FTCI broke down yesterday, a long shot but I can still see it bouncing if it can climb back to .39. Contracts were in control yesterday. Everything in my toolbox has glitched recently so I've either missed trades or been late to the party. IBKR abruptly changed my scanner to delayed right after Labor Day. Haven't figured that one out yet. Even more troubling, Schwabs alerts aren't working for me. I've tried everything. I depend on those bc I actually have a full time job and trade on multiple platforms. Almost missed a good FCUV exit. One I'd keep an eye on is OPTT. Looking like it might be curling up. Then again I could be COMPLETELY wrong on all of these. I used to hold too long. These days since it's not my primary income, I exit pretty much the moment I see green. QH really pissed me off. But it's better than nothing.
taking a flyer on FTCI, OCT .5 calls are free money
I made $20 on my FTCI penny stonk today 😂.. hoping it reaches 75 cents lol
Feel like a good short and long term play would be WBD. I'm a hit that up today for a few hundred shares. Otherwise, probably keep an eye on the regulars. AMD, SOUN, FTCI, DIS, NKE
Probably something on the down swing like WBD or something relatively safe and with a dividend like DIS. Though if I wanted to gamble, I'd invest in something more volatile like FTCI and hope to double my money in a month or less (or possibly lose it all)
FTCI has a backlog of 1.6 B but they lack the producing volume to keep up. If they will be able to deliver it can be a good stock. For now they have to fight for not being delisted of the Nasdaq..
Check FTCI. It bottomed at 0.45 to 95 cent and now stabilizing at 0.69 cent.
Some underowned solar names I like are NXT, SHLS, HASI, and NXT What's unique about these names is that they're not involved in residential solar. Rather, industrial solar. Which will reap benefits of IRA, etc., and isn't as subject to vicissitudes of interest rate risk and housing market NXT is an older company that actually just signed a deal with ENPH to make microinverters. Very modest valuation and involved in many industrial applications. It also was the one that spun off NXT, which is solar trackers specifically. Recently had great ER and had good run accordingly. Also reasonably valued. ARRY, FTCI are others in this solar tracking niche, though I think NXT is most solid because of its history, former backing, financial standing and profitability SHLS is similarly situated in industrial solar parts though I don't know as much about it. HASI, a REIT as recently as yesterday, just had a great quarter and owns and operates all sorts of sustainable projects, including solar farms. Street likes that it's pivoting to non-REIT model. Finally, here are some more you can pick through: https://finviz.com/screener.ashx?v=111&f=ind_solar&o=pe MAXN has the best panels in the business IIRC. Though these are a commodity product with slim margins and lots of competition.
You could check FTCI, they make Solar trackers. Shareholder is TJ Rodgers, the man behind Enovix and Enphase.
I bought ENPH at $5.. bought leaps and stock. Life changing investment for me. I still have a small position. World class management. Research TJ Rodgers and all of the companies he is involved in. Responsible for Cypress.. Sunpower .. enphase… all successful.. More life changing investments still available.. I currently have huge position in enovix… plus small positions in FTCI and FACT..
FTC Solar (FTCI), ex-SunEdison team. Probably the smallest (by market cap) public solar tracker company. Following in the footsteps of ARRY (Array Technologies). Expected to turn a profit EOY or early next year.
Well.. if you’re just starting out following TJ is not a bad thing to do.. he’s a brilliant no nonsense leader who has had incredible success over the years. And he puts lots of his own money into everything.. Go to his website to see all of his ventures and do the due diligence from there. COB= chairman of the board …FTCI is a ticker..GL
What is SPAC, COB, BOD, and FTCI? Are all these tickers?
Google is your friend... but he was founder of Cypress semi.. bought SPWR on the verge of BK.. turned it around spun it off... bought into ENPH on the verge of BK.. turned it around and now $200+ a share.. started a SPAC and turned it into ENVX nd is now COB. Also has majors positions and on the BOD of FTCI and FACT.
Yeah I went from $60 up this morning to -10 in about 2 minutes. ;P on FTCI. The economy and politics is about to make me go insane.
My degen stocks are ARBE, FTCI, and CTXR. All three are unprofitable now but have projected 2025 forward PEs between 2-4. Expectations are obviously the gamble here, but if they turn out halfway accurate then these should be multibaggers.
Exactly, BBBY AND FTCI 🚀🚀🚀
Ev 🚀🚀🚀 FTCI EVGO BLNK good short squeeze plays
FTCI Did pretty well today. Energy is the name of the game in this market
Biden is stopping tariffs on solar from southeast asia for two years - Calls on Chinese manufacturers JKS/CSIQ who produce there, as well as installers (RUN), and solar tracking companies (ARRY/FTCI) who use tons of panels from there that haven't been avail for a while. Puts on FSLR (domestic manufacturer).
I was at a Best Western and some rando grubby looking solar installer guy says I should buy is company. FTCI (FTC SOLAR INC COM). So ya... sure. Why not. I bought a few shares. It's the only thing green on my entire screen today. I should really just let a monkey throw darts at a board for my picks.
I am on the sidelines, ready to make a couple big purchases. I am DCA’ing into FTCI Currently.
29-year-old trying to make money for kids in a few years. I'm just starting out and very open to constructive feedback! BBAR 8.26% CX 4.66% CTHR 3.92% DQ 58.4% EMKR 9.04% FTCI 4.06% LITB 1.32% SALM 3.28% XYF 7.06%
Anyone know what the hell happened to FTCI? I've been in and out of that one and just saw that it dropped 20%. I tried looking for news, but I'm not seeing anything.
FTCI did the same before rebounding, seems more like an energy/solar thing than an overall indication.
Anyone else buying some greatly unloved stocks? My opinion is that the selloff in growth sector has been overdone and creates a great buying opportunity. There's a couple I've been watching and they've gotten hammered so hard, in the past week I've started buying. Anyone else out there doing that sort of thing? Here's what I am accumulating: STEM (Stem energy storage systems) ENVX (Enovix 3D cell architecture batteries) GOEV (Canoo EV) NVTS (Navitas semiconductors - GaN more efficient than Si) FTCI (solar tracker systems to boost power output) DCFC (DC Fast charging for EV) I'm also curious what people think of my selections
Ticker: FTCI I’m throwing 1k in it @ opening bell
