If you are asking the question, you know the answer. Get it off binance and into cold storage. If you don’t know what wallet do some research , and learn about them. The more you know the less you will feel helpless. I lost approx 10k when Quadriga CX made it disappearance. Don’t leave it up to some unregulated company.

Did you ever figure a solution on this? I’ve had 3 direct deposits and the auto convert hasn’t worked once. CX is literally the least helpful thing I’ve ever experienced with a tech company. It’s really something.

Yes, ERC20 fees for a token because OP didnt by CRO from crypto.com CX as a native coin that can be moved without large fees of whatever ETH tx fees were at the time. CRO got hit hard, so at some points moving tokens on Ethereum easily could have been 14k CRO ETH20s

Ah man! That was my first experience with buying bitcoin. I had gotten into it early and finally I had found Quadriga CX and now I didn't have to wire transfer some cash to a dude in Toronto because that's what I thought I had to do, it was the only Canadian options I could find (I was wrong, there were much better options) but I lost everything on Quadriga. I never invested more than I could lose but if I had those bitcoin today, life might have been different. But I comfort myself by realizing that I would have probably sold in the highs of 2017... I was so naïve!

I can guarantee this response is what the agent was either given by their L2, or at least had to get approved by their L2. I can also guarantee the CX agent knows exactly how much of a non-answer it is, and that people won't buy it. In fact, they were almost certainly thinking "oh great, I'm gonna get some real stimulating responses to this". The agent knows it's BS, the L2 knows it's BS, and they know that we know. ​ The thing is, CX doesn't get told shit. They are lucky if they get a heads up on anything, frequently they have to be reactive to company announcements because companies don't trust their CX teams with any important info because they are underpaid and overworked. CX agents have no reason to be loyal, and so they are not trusted.

If you really want to trust a centralized exchange, you'd probably need daily automated audits of all the CX-held wallets and somehow verify the funds are all there. To me, it seems like loaning customer deposits ought to be illegal and impossible. A CX is not a bank, and there's no fractional reserve banking in crypto. Betting that people won't do a bank run while grossly mismanaging their deposits should be a war crime against humanity. I'm serious. People have taken their own lives as a consequence of bad operators preying upon peoples' deepest fears around maintaining or attaining financial security for their families.

At one time, I had 54 (or 56) BTC... today I don't have anywhere near that... HORRIBLE trades (the Brexit pump killed me), and terrible mistakes and timing (big shit always breaks and needs replaced only at the cycle bottom) bought 4 cars over the years, paid off the house. Also 1.5 stuck in the Celsius Bankruptcy, and a couple lost in a CX that disappeared. Still here, though, fighting on!

Totally with ya. I had so many since I started lose. The guy that got me interested in 2017 lost a lot in a mining scam. Had a few best buds lose almost everything with Quadriga CX scam. Most recently a friend passed away and never told his family or kids anything, ten's of thousands gone. Influencers get just about everyone. Life is tough and most just want to be told what to buy.
