I have two completely different charts and all time high ms for the same ticker (HTHIY). CS has the all time high being $39 and YF has its all time high at $58.
Some international names have been killing it recently. HTHIY and PRYMY has been nice little runs.
Really cool to see HTHIY continue to see some strong momentum. Now looking at 20% YTD.
Yeah, I was digging into them a bit ago, since they sold off the robotics position. Need to look more into quarter, but part of my plan this year has been trying to be more defensive and ABBNY falls into that category of just boring/slow growth. Like HTHIY is like the market leader for transformers, which has a big backlog and something that every body needs in order to hook to the grid. PRYMY bought a company i used to own and loved, WIRE. They have some interesting tailwinds with exposure to data centers, grid, and also submarines.
Moved some money over to some more international interesting industrials today. Finally pulled the trigger on HTHIY, PRYMY. ABBNY announced a great quarter this morning, got to dig a bit more into them, but market seems happy.
As someone who been trying to research the space more, any thoughts on any companies to get into BESS? I own NXT and SHLS as my solar utility plays and looking into HTHIY for some exposure to grid automation. Just have a hard time finding companies that are profitable in the space. Thanks!
Haven’t really looked at DOCS in a minute, but seems like the valuation is coming back into somewhat reasonable territory soon. Got to look a bit more into it Started looking a bit into HTHIY yesterday as well after reading up on transformers. Judging from earnings call questions, the bottleneck is neither chips nor electricity, but "powered shells", the step between construction of the structure and installation of the servers: the electrical equipment and connects the servers to the grid/generator, ensures power is uninterrupted, of the correct voltage, etc. Some plays on this theme are: PWR, ETN, VRT, IESC, FLR, ABBNY, HTHIY
After some further inquiry, it seems like there is another OTC stock called Hitachi Machinery Construction Co(HTCMY) that trades at $54.48. Seems like someone put in the wrong order for Hitachi(HTHIY)
Still far too dumb and under qualified but safest are ETFs but that’s boring imo. Cameco (CCJ) and Denison Mines (DNN) for the raw mining element. Both Canadian based with the latter having a hold on the Athabascan Basin that holds the most high yield Uranium close to the US and being or leading trade partner on that front. For SMRs idk who I’m sold on, I like Nano Nuclear (NNE) but that side of the market is still in the development phase. That said they have plans to file their patent for ‘ZEUS’ Q1 next year and they just brought in a new director not long ago that was the CFO for the Dept of Energy in 2017-2019 to help the company with discussions with Government. Shot in the dark but with a better chance at success it Hirachi, LTD (HTHIY) - this is less solely Uranium as they’re have like 1,000 companies under them.. Japanese company that has GE Hitachi Nuclear Energies (60% GE / 40% Hitachi) has a promising SMR but as that component is a private stock this is more a rising tide lifts all ships thought process.
If the last HTHIY price on Robinhood isn’t a glitch I’m yoloing
I saw this same thing happen a few days ago it shot up over +300% and it evened out back to around $47 once markets opened. The news had to do with something about a new facility in Germany. Today it’s a 5:1 split HTHIY has gone over 414% in after hours?? Second day shooting up 300% in after hours 👀

Hey, I own some Hitachi stock (HTHIY, ADRs) in a Robbinhood brokerage. Today it was trading at ~48 USD USD. But then in the after hours they jumped to 226!?!?!? I have checked Yahoo Finance and it has the ~48 USD price. Google finance has it at the 226 number. What is going on, I assume that this is some sort of glitch. Is this a RH issue?

Hitachi is the maker of maybe the most famous and prolific vibrator in history, the “magic wand” of which they have made several iterations. Their stock is listed under the name HTHIY I believe.
