I think Nike needs to focus less on talking up the turnaround and more on showing evidence it’s working. JD Sports highlighting the lack of innovation is important, but its confidence that Nike’s product cycle will improve is encouraging. We can all talk up the positivity and give positive guidance but if it isnt backed up by the numbers it isnt worth the paper its written on. The market place is considerably more saturated with alot of newer brands coming in so i fear the turn around may take longer than alot of people are hoping for.
