Liquidmetal Enters into Supply Agreement with Yihao Metal Technology - LQMT

No, that’s wrong. Apple only has rights to the IP produced with their joint venture with LiquidMetal, Cruciable LLC. That ended in 2016. All new IP is under the LiquidMetal owned LiquidMorphium, LLC. Production will be done by Eontec and/or Yihao, both having agreements with LiquidMetal. Yihao is LQMT’s contract manufacturer, and Eontec has a territory agreement with LiquidMetal stating that orders from their territory (America and Europe) go to LiquidMetal. Lugee Li, LQMT COB, started Eontec and was the CEO of Yihao before recently stepping down to set up LiquidMorphium and LiquidMetal Asia. He is a major shareholder in LiquidMetal and it’s unlikely he is cutting himself out of the loop.
I'm looking at their patents, Apple has exclusive rights to use them with LQMT. Which means that no other company can be working with LQMT to use their technology. On top of that the ones benefiting from this is the manufacturing companies that are not LQMT. I don't see any benefit with this stock actually moving if Apple announces they use it. Only benefits are from the 2 manufacturing companies in Shenzhen market
Good question. Those of us in our small investment group believe 40-60 cents is possible before next Wednesday, but who knows. After the presentation is the tricky part. John Ternus is a mechanical engineer and has been working on this for some time. The hinge mechanism is a big deal and differentiator for the folding phone. We assume that he has been working with LiquidMetal, more specifically Lugee Li, for years developing the hinge. Will he invite Li on stage, will he mention LiquidMetal, use the generic name “bulk metallic glass”, or skim over it? It’s anyone’s guess. If he mentions LiquidMetal by name, we expect this to go well over a dollar. A few think $3-4 with it settling back to $2. But honestly, the biggest news of all this is the huge production capacity they are building out for LiquidMetal. We believe that Li must have contracts in hand or he wouldn’t have left as CEO of Yihao to build out LQMT production. We believe that the days of hype and crash are over and consistent revenue will be coming in. The company has $30mm+ plus in assets with a low burn rate, so they are in a very healthy position. They have two sites in Asia and the U.S. and launched LiquidMorphium. They should be earning revenue from IP, production, and selling machines. Li’s stated goal is NASDAQ, and that’s $4/share. We expect to see that in 2-3 years, if not sooner. Li is LQMT’s COB, and the CEO is Tony Chung. TC’s short term incentive is $1/share. As you know, the stock market is a gamble. Who would have thought that Apple would be trading down just before these huge products launch? As mentioned before, just do you own DD and see if it fits your risk/reward strategy. If you go long on this, I think you’ll be happy because of what’s in the pipeline. I don’t know if that helps, but wish you luck in your investments.
More to this story from my friend Parakleet: The MTA states that the agreement is fully paid up and “royalty-free.” But it turns out not to be the whole story. This provision that allows LQMT to charge Apple royalty fees. The MTA defines LQMT technology as “any and all Intellectual Property and Intellectual Property Rights \[owned by LQMT\] during \*\*the Capture Period.”\*\* The original Capture Period ran from August 5, 2010 through February 5, 2012. But Apple and LQMT then signed 3 amendments to the MTA which extended the capture period to February 5, 2016. And that’s important because... The MTA, on page 1 states that: “For purposes of clarification, however, improvements or derivatives of LMT Technology first created, conceived, invented, or discovered \*\*after the Capture Period shall not be ‘LMT Technology’”\*\* So any LQMT technology, patented or otherwise, that LQMT developed after Feb. 5, 2016 \*\*is not covered by the MTA,\*\* and if Apple needs that technology, LQMT can require royalties.
Great write up. CEO of LQMT Tony Chung stated at a conference in CA last fall "Hinges will make us a household name next year." As a long time holder of LQMT I am looking forward to the Apple event on September 9th!
LQMT is better than buying lottery tickets
Liquidmetal has a proprietary metal tech that is harder than titanium, lighter than aluminum and is formed by injection molding like plastic. They have an exclusive license with Apple and have been chosen as the core hinge material for the iPhone Fold coming this fall. LQMT was trading at 4 cents before the news, now 20 cents. Upside is $5. Research yourself and see!
I’d rather plow into LQMT with their factory coming online in July and the iPhone Fold coming out in September.
LQMT I have bought it as high as $0.27 and as low as $0.04 and have been accumulating it for over 10 years. It's now a bit over $0.14 and is rumored to be an integral part of Apple's hinge on the new folding phone. It is also rumored to be used in robotics including Tesla's new robot. The company has no debt and low revenues. It has partners that are investing in huge manufacturing plants to produce their materials. Risks are that the partnership agreements are not known and the company is very secretive. It used to get bad press because it was previously owned by some incompetent people but that ended a decade or so ago.
These are long term holds that I’ve acquired shares of AMFN PSRHF NEWH LQMT
They put out multiple paid press releases every day. It ran huge in the recent past, people hoping it will run huge again. SMX reminds me of stocks like LQMT, BURU - they have this one niche, unique, kind of cool technology, but have no idea how to make money off it, or if its even possible to make money from it. For BUR its a blue laser; for LQMT its this funky flexible "liquid" metal; for SMX its this way to add this invisible digital mark to just about anything.
This LQMT gaining momentum! Quality people for these positions…
LQMT Iphone Fold 2026 + Manufacturing Facility being built in China done by mid 2026. It's a revolutionary manufacturing material that will have volume this year.
LQMT about to skyrocket, some initial boosts before the real launch, throw some cash at it while you still can
I have been holding LQMT for 20ish years. Has reverse split a few times, still holding. Not worth much anymore, and I keeps me humble every time I see it.
SPWR... Went bankrupt, I wasn't watching closely. I only had a couple grand in it so wasn't too torn up. LQMT is a penny stock I bought into about 10 years ago and have held mostly out of curiosity. It also isn't a ton of money.
With the new manufacturing facility that can hold around 40 LiquidMetal molding machines (and expandable space) coming on-line in the spring, rumors regarding the hinge in the iPhone Fold, and other projects, 2026 is the year. The CEo stated that LiquidMetal will become a household name nest year. You should go to the LQMT Reddit site and read up on all the activity there.
LQMT penny stock tied to apple.
what do you think of Liquidmetal, LQMT? their hinge is going to be used in apples foldables, and I have a gut feeling itll eventually be used for frames for their devices.
I recommend looking at https://www.reddit.com/r/LQMT/ to learn more. I’ve been following Liquidmetal since Apple signed a deal with them in 2010. Most recently I made 4x when in late March 2025 the sp went from 4 cents to 16 cents on the news that Liquidmetal signed a deal with Apple to be the hinge material in the iPhone Fold coming out in 2026. Note that Apple’s new design language is “Liquid Glass.” The jump to marketing the hell out of Liquidmetal in the following year is not far. The Liquidmetal material is lighter than Titanium and stronger than Titanium. With their next generation Liquidmorphium machines it’ll be faster and cheaper than ever to make millions of these parts. People liken this to the 20th century shift from wood and metal to plastic. It happened slowly then all at once as the benefits became clear and the price fell. That’s literally what’s happening right now with Liquidmetal right before our eyes.
Real ones know the only answer to this is LQMT.
BTW, if you want to follow the company, we make regular posts on the Reddit site using the stock ticker LQMT.
LQMT has an Apple deal to provide the hinges for its foldable iPhone and iPad in 2016 and 2027. It’s currently sitting at 15 cents after pulling a 4x on the initial news (it was 4 cents). Progress reports should keep 4x-ing. Estimates are 10 Million foldables sold in 26-27 and 25 Million in 27-28.
LQMT has a deal with Apple and are confirmed as the manufacturer of the hinge for the 2026 iPhone Fold. They supply TESLA, Movano, and many others.
PWAV and LQMT ring the most bells, both delisted and bankrupt but I thought they had so much promise before holding to $0
I’ve got nothing but LQMT on my mind. Been holding for 12 years. Things are FINALLY happening.
LQMT LiquidMetal is a US company located in Lake Forest, CA. They own LiquidMetal Asia Holdings, so this is not a Chinese stock.
LQMT has a deal with Apple and consistent news from the far east that it is the material chosen to make the hinge on the 2026 iPhone Fold. A quick search will prove this out. When the news is confirmed, likely by October, I expect Liquidmetal ($LQMT) to 10x. It's also rumored to be the material chosen by TESLA for the 3rd generation Optimus humanoid robot's hand gears.
For kicks per chatgpt: Liquidmetal Technologies, Inc. (LQMT), a materials technology company specializing in bulk metallic glasses, likely needs a presence in Asia for several key reasons, primarily related to manufacturing and market access. Here's why establishing an Asian subsidiary, such as the newly formed Liquidmetal Asia Holdings Ltd (LMAH), is important for LQMT: Expanding Manufacturing Capabilities: Asia, especially China, is a major manufacturing hub. LQMT has partnered with Dongguan Yihao Metal Technology Co., Ltd. in China, a significant manufacturer of bulk metallic glass products. This partnership aims to leverage their combined capabilities to enhance the global supply chain for Liquidmetal's technology. An Asian subsidiary can facilitate the exploration of additional manufacturing sites in the region to support increased production volume and lower manufacturing costs. Business Development and Market Access: Establishing LMAH in Hong Kong allows LQMT to focus on expanding business development opportunities specifically within Asia. This includes: • Facilitating the entry of Liquidmetal technology into broader Asian markets. • Developing partnerships and relationships with potential customers and licensees in the region. • Targeting industries with high potential for Liquidmetal's technology, such as electronics, aerospace, and medical devices. Strategic Partnerships and Global Presence: Having a subsidiary in Asia strengthens LQMT's global presence and allows for easier collaboration with existing and potential partners in the region. This can be crucial for advancing amorphous alloy technology and achieving wider market adoption. Leveraging Expertise: The appointment of Professor Lugee Li, a former LQMT CEO with experience in amorphous alloy technology, to head LMAH further highlights the strategic importance of manufacturing and operations in Asia for LQMT's growth. In essence, LQMT's Asian subsidiary plays a vital role in expanding its manufacturing capacity, accessing key markets, and fostering strategic partnerships to support its long-term growth and solidify its position as a leading developer of bulk metallic glasses.
Synopsis Liquidmetal Technologies Inc. (LQMT) is a materials technology company specializing in bulk amorphous alloys. Despite recent revenue growth, the company faces challenges in achieving consistent profitability and has a high probability of financial distress. While its innovative technology offers potential, investors should exercise caution due to financial uncertainties. Market Analysis Technical Outlook: LQMT's stock price is above its 50-day and 200-day moving averages, indicating a bullish trend. However, the MACD suggests negative momentum, and the Relative Strength Index (RSI) is neutral, indicating neither overbought nor oversold conditions. Risk Factors: The company faces risks related to the successful identification and integration of strategic partnerships, as well as the development and commercialization of new applications for its technology. Additionally, changes in government policies and trade agreements could adversely affect the business. Key Metrics: LQMT reported a revenue of $969,000 in the trailing twelve months, with a net loss of $1.76 million. The company has a market capitalization of approximately $99.62 million and no debt, with a cash position of $13 million. Market Sentiment: Investor sentiment is mixed, with some optimism due to the company's innovative technology and recent revenue growth, tempered by concerns over financial stability and the ability to achieve consistent profitability.
Also, as I mentioned below, look at the LQMT Reddit site at the Maze. You will see the depth of work that has gone into this. Li has been working on this for some time after he bought in six years ago. He started Eontec and gave up controlling interest of it to buy into LiquidMetal.
Yes, keep an eye on it. The latest is that the hinges will start production this fall. The credit card company could be a nice add as well. All in all, a lot of money, probably well over $100 million, has been spent bringing this to market. Visit our LQMT Reddit site and look at the Maze diagram.
The foldable Apple iPhone that will use LQMT isn’t expected for mass production until late 2026 and will use LQMT for the hinges to decrease creakiness. They are negative $800,000, which is about half from 2023, with $900,000 in current revenue. They expect tariffs to affect them negatively as they appear to produce in China. This looks like a promising stock that won’t explode just yet, but will in the future. Best of wishes to you. I’ll probably come back to this later.
I am very optimistic on LQMT. Been holding and doubling down for 12 years. This company just makes sense to me. They have been moving toward mass production for years and finally accomplished it a few years ago. The adoption is under way. I doubt Apple and Medical companies are going to be using aluminum and titanium forever. The new material always comes a long in the mage of advancement. I think Liquidmetal will be it.
lol I’ve had LQMT since the rumors of the iPhone 5 Sim tray and ejector were made from them lol
LQMT looks like it’s in a great position after Kuo leaked that Apple has early (and otherwise unconfirmed) plans to use LiquidMetal as the main hinge material in their iPhone Fold coming out in 2026. If that happens this penny stock will 10x to 30x in 18 months.
Spend 5 minutes and look at Liquidmetal - LQMT. The new Apple foldable next year will be using Liquidmetal per the leakers
That’s the real question, isn’t it? If sales originate in the US, say like the credit card company ordering cards, that goes through the LQMT territory and so sales go to Liquidmetal. Sales to any US or European country go the LiquidMetal USA. That’s why you should at least keep an eye on it and set yourself up for notifications on the Liquidmetal investors page, and you can also join the Reddit site to be kept up-to-date. We also have a Discord site of over 100 who are already invested and discuss what’s happening daily. If you have a low tolerance for risk, just wait and watch.
Ok so maybe Eontec is the investment then.. when and how will LQMT shareholders benefit from any orders
It was never an arts and crafts project. It’s bringing a new disruptive material to market and creating an entire production system to support it. A global one is now coming on-line. It’s amazing to me how some of you brush this off as a nothing given the time, effort, and companies that have been working on this. It Search back at plastics as it was brought to market - it’s a similar situation. Some did get burned badly when they bought LQMT at the IPO and after Apple gave them $30 million, so there is a lot of bad blood out there. You can boil it down to book value and make your decision based on that, but just do yourself a favor and keep an eye on it.
**LQMT – Book Value Check (Q1 2025)** Based on the latest 10-Q: * Total assets: $29.96M * Total liabilities: $1.17M * Book value: **$28.8M** With \~917M shares outstanding, that puts book value per share around **$0.031**. To justify any multiple of where it is currently trading, they really need to have a legit order/contract and maybe they can finally see a substantial ROI for the decades long arts and crafts project
LQMT stock has been going up for the last 12 days. I just purchased another 180,000 shares. I am pretty confident this will end up in Apple's foldable phone in 2026.
What are you talking about? Aegis capital has nothing to do with LQMT. Please show us your proof, or I will consider it nonsense.
Yes, I added that LQMT to my screen name as it was the only reason I joined Reddit at the time. To be clear, I am not a trader, a pumper, or fanboy. I have been working in global advanced manufacturing R&D for decades in 36 countries, written two books, and a long term investor. This company had been around for a long time bringing this innovative material to commercialization. It takes a long time to disrupt an industry, but many of us believe it is a game changer and the time has come. Apple has been involved with the company and is reported by Ming to be using it in the upcoming iPhone Fold. The SIM ejector tool that accompanied older iPhones is made from LiquidMetal. The new Evie ring by Movano uses LiquidMetal. They are “currently prototyping a premium credit card product for first tier US based financial institution utilizing lqmt unique alloy to create beautiful thin cards to be used for their premium cc line” (from the last concall). Also from that CC transcript: "Last year, I communicated that we were pursuing a startup medical tool company, which makes medical devices for alleviating the effects of tendonitis. We completed the prototype phase in 2024, and I’m happy to announce that this part is currently in general production and is reflected in our 2024 revenues. This company is also seeking FDA approval and we’re delighted to have a satisfied customer who has chosen to adopt our technology. Other opportunities in the medical tools industry that we are currently prototyping include an application for a medical Anvil stapler device, an application for an inhaler device and an application for cochlear implants for the hearing industry. Also, we announced during the middle of twenty twenty four that we secured our first MIM order for a minimally invasive surgical application, utilizing jaw components that grab and manipulate suturing needles and tissue during surgery." Add to that the current Chairman of the Board and major investor Prof. Lugee Li, will manage the new wholly-owned Liquidmetal Asia Holdings. This is not a typical Penny stock, and from its assets in the posted article, you can see that it is healthy. We believe that the company is now undergoing commercialization and the time to jump on board is now. We offer this information to extend this opportunity to others. DO YOUR OWN DD, and don’t bother with the nonsense and negative ticks here. Take or leave it, we don’t care. This thing will blast off on its own, but do watch it and maybe you can catch it on the way up.
Pumping is short term. These guys are invested long term in LQMT. They’ve moderated our LQMT board for years.

I can vouch for these guys. They are just sharing big updates for huge potential in Liquidmetal. DMN and OTW have been invested in LQMT for easily a decade. Same with me. We all see enormous up side to this company. Do your homework. Start with LUGEE LI.
I've been accumulating this stock for quite a few years and am very passionate about the material properties. It's not everyday that a Pennystock has a 20 million dollar investment by Apple and a 60 million dollar investment by a Chinese billionaire. If it makes you feel better, i can drop the LQMT...lol
LQMT owns the patents and is licensed out look them up.

Liquid metal stock symbol LQMT will probably get a big jump today sitting at $.11. Looks like Apple is going to announce the use of liquid metal in their products.
With the upcoming announcements of apple‘s new products using liquid metal. liquid metals stock symbol LQMT should take off sitting right now about $.11 watch this thing jumped to 20 bucks in the next week. Hopefully this makes a lot of people money. Another big gainer for today is IBRX they’re gonna figure out the cure for cancer .

What can you say about LIQUIDMETAL TECHNOLOGIES (LQMT)? There are articles saying that this company is promising.
Oops. I might not properly paste the article here. What's your take on LQMT, could it have a massive potential like ELTP?
This Yahoo article was actually from Simply Wall St - and the actual stocks it highlights is ELTP (one i've been highlighting for a few years now as they grow), SGMT, and LQMT. Did you not read the article in your link? It literally highlights 3 stocks in there...
On a serious note LQMT will be closing a big deal for some parts of the new Iphone! It’s a slam dunk buy from me!
LQMT - Liquidmetal is a US-based company specializing in bulk metallic glasses, which are metal alloys that are lighter than aluminum, stronger than titanium, and can be injection molded into complex net-shape parts like plastic. Liquidmetal has a deal with Apple that is public ally-known, plus has a joint entity with Apple "Crucible" for R&D. They are a penny stock with $30 million in the bank, multiple manufacturing partners, a history of success in Asian markets and a rumor that they'll be the primary material in Apple's upcoming iPhone Fold in 2026. They weee trading at 4 cents a month ago; the Apple hinge news spiked it 300% to a high of 13 cents. It has settled to 10 cents and will rise to $1-$4 when and if the hinge comes to fruition.
looks like LQMT could be big
LQMT has $30 million in the bank, a deal with Apple, and recen news that Apple’s 2026 foldable iPhone will use Liquidmetal for the hinge. when the news broke the stock went 3x. when it is confirmed it’ll do a 30x
Go take a look at the LQMT Reddit rather than ChatGPT. True, it’s not confirmed.
"Although Apple holds a perpetual, exclusive license to use Liquidmetal Technologies' alloys in consumer electronics, there is no current confirmation that Liquidmetal Technologies (LQMT) is directly involved in the production of the iPhone Fold's hinge. The company has not announced any recent partnerships or contracts related to this project."
LQMT - LiquidMetal, reported to be used in the upcoming Apple iPhone Fold.
LQMT - Apple metal!
LQMT is just asking for it!
You didn't buy any shitcoins when they were $50... but you can redeem yourself and buy LQMT for $0.1 right now
LQMT
You heard it here first! LQMT. they will get a juicy deal with Apple for the new Iphone!!
LQMT is a moneymaker. buy it before the pop!
I know apple has a partnership with LQMT for the technology, but originally weren't they getting a Chinese company to actually make the hinges? Is there a possibility that LQMT will directly produce the hinges in the wake of 54% tariffs on Chinese goods?
That’s great news. More customers for LQMT!
I remember people talking up LQMT back then
Unfortunately LQMT isn’t supported on Robin Hood :/
Apple already has a perpetual license to use LQMT IP, nothing to see here : On August 5, 2010, Liquidmetal Technologies, Inc (…) entered into a Master Transaction Agreement with Apple Inc (…) Liquidmetal contributed substantially all of its intellectual property assets to a newly organized special-purpose, wholly-owned subsidiary (…) granted to Apple a perpetual, worldwide, fully-paid, exclusive license to commercialize such intellectual property in the field of consumer electronic products in exchange for a license fee, and (…) granted back to Liquidmetal a perpetual, worldwide, fully-paid, exclusive license to commercialize such intellectual property in all other fields of use (…) - Source: LQMT 8-K SEC filing, 2010.
