So this is purely my opinion, and it might resonate to whatever your issues are with respect to the title of the video and whatever you were expecting from that conversation. But the underlying issue with the Democratic Party is that they run by centrists, the establishment democrats. These are the democrats that MAGA/republicans and independents like to shit on, and rightfully so when it comes to handling certain issues or their inability to directly address issues affecting and fighting for the working/middle class. This is arguably why Kamala / Biden lost to Trump, notably in the swing states. Where trump campaigned heavily and making a ton of promises to the working class (which he never followed through on). This is the context in which that content creator / political commentator kid is speaking to. Why this young man’s opinion, who he articulately and succinctly expressed, is important to get out there and listen to - is that he more or less represents the younger “gen z” demographic that leans more progressive. There’s a pretty clear divide between the establishment side of the democratic party (think Chuck Shumer, Nancy Pelosi, etc) and the progressive side of the party (think AOC, bernie, etc) and in order for the Democratic Party to succeed, they need to put forth a platform (a “vision”) that appeals to progressive voters (represented in a sense by th young man being interviewed, who’s been making some waves on social media in recent years on for his political views/debates)
