I bought MAIA months ago at 1,54. Still have it sitting in my port at 5000 shares, didn’t sell at 2,5. I think this one could be good long term.

ASICs cannot compete with Nvidia because the Nvidia ecosystem is CUDA. AMD technically also competes in the CUDA ecosystem. The ASICs like TPUs and Microsoft’s MAIA don’t. If you care about future Nvidia growth, you care about the CUDA market.

Yeah, I lost pretty much my entire MAIA investment a few months back but it's rallied back to 20% gains or so now, which is wild. Didn't think about it too much before buying, just saw a favorable news article and said fuck it.

I am not interested in fundamentals. I don't even know what most of the companies I own do exactly. Technically, MAIA looks like shit, especially considering that there are many other biotech names that have been working really well. Do with that whatever you like, there are many different trading styles out there. Just wanted to give my perspective :)

Don't know anything about MAIA. Do work in Biotech, but not in oncology. But I remember the sage words of an oncology colleague---"Any dumba$$ can cure cancer in a mouse". Lots of differences between mice and men.

I bought $MAIA (a biotechnology co. that just "might" have discovered a cure for cancer.) After spending a good 10-15 minutes on due diligence, I bought 200 shares at $5.40 on Friday (the day of their IPO, which was $5.00 even). Went as high as $9 and change today, closed at $7.80. Could be the next to moon! Or to go to zero! Wheeee!

trade low-float IPOs this week. The market is FOMOing over HKD, MAIA, and MGAM... the next couple will likely do pretty well (these are not investments, they are for day trading only, swings at the most)

It just listed, these type of moves happen to this extent not everytime, but I always keep an eye out on companies that are IPOs keep about 2k on the side to throw in to day trade. I have a scanner and alerts I got my first alert on a halt at $17 the day it listed added to my watch list noticed the volume was super low the next few days after watching PA and bought 10 shares at 15.12 on the 19th dumped half on the 22nd at 58.24 when RSI stupid high at that point I am playing with house money already made my money plus a 100% gain practically. And have been shaving them off since still holding 1 share as of Friday's close. Wish I would have dumped all 2k into it but you never know with IPOs, now I will say what this will do is it will bring back the awareness of volatility within the Despac/IPO sector since a lot of people missed on this and considering we have been in rally mode lately bulls will jump in to make a quick buck. My advice keep an eye on MGAM, GETY, MAIA and ILAG
I went too high worth looking in to MAIA & MGAM
MGAM. It rocked it today. 4-15 and settled around 11. These low float IPOs are killing it this week. It started today, look for a lot more Monday. Anyone have thoughts on MAIA?
