Is AMTD a swing play at this (post pop) low?
MEGL running now. With market news today being positive this could be the rebound that often occurs after a huge run up. Already up +20% pre market with soo much room to run. Curious on everyone’s opinions.

I lost big on MEGL, could've made several thousand in profit, watched it go up, instead of selling I got greedy, noticed the rug pull happening but it was too late. I messed up bad with that investment and it put me off the stock market for awhile now. I went in blind. Lesson learned.
“I watch everything too data, geopolitics , trends, throughout the day everyday as to keep a good understanding on sentiment. I try to take the bigger picture into consideration as to where things are heading and keep that in mind when making a trade. Recently day trading strategy has worked almost every time with a profit. Ive learned over the past 3 years through trial and error on what works for me. learned some expensive lessons and this is what I’ve been doing since. I do not buy options. I buy block shares on major break outs and keep a tight stop loss. It works 99% of the time with a gain or break even. The other 1% I take a small loss. Over time I’m building back my portfolio. Example: I use technical analysis mostly on my day trades. I’ll scan the premarket for the volume movers and I check the news in the morning for anything that might have happened over night or could be a catalyst for an upcoming trade. Once i find an attractive set up ill establish small position on what I see as a steady level of support. Ill slowly start to accumulate until it reaches a massive breakout range and then ill buy a block of $5k ( by starting my small positions first i am always in the green starting off) . Ride that parabolic move up and wait for a cool off or pullback to establish its price discovery to see where buyers are stepping back in. I then set my stop loss to break even average to give it room to breath. That way worst outcome is break even with some transaction fees. I will usually ride the momentum until it breaks the closes level of support and then I’m out of the trade completely to reassess reentering or being done with it completely. It might be a small gain or a massive gain depending on the break out but it almost guarantees me something in the green. Shares also allow you to turn your day trade into a swing or a long if the trade starts working against you. My point is instead of buying a contract for 100 shares on a timeline. Buy the 100 shares outright and allow it to work on your time instead of the markets. Since I started using this day trade technique I’ve been able to make up a large portion of my losses already from some of the losers Ive had over the years, I still have a ways to go but as for now I’m gonna stick to what’s working. biggest lessons learned 1. If one of these Asian IPO stocks is down 90-something percent in a day on no news, chances are it's not done tanking. Look at my post on SKK a few days ago. The stock bounced for...like...10 seconds. Then straight down again and gave up all those gains. Anything here is day trading hot potato. Literally betting red or black on a roulette wheel. Those aren't good enough odds for me. Once again people are using this short squeeze sub as a proxy for knife catching and bagholding. You CANNOT squeeze a stock that drops from $100 to $1. What's the average price for shorts? $20? They are up 95%. The only thing squeezing is their fat wallet. The time to squeeze them was from $20 to $100. If they survived that, some pumpers off this sub isn't going to get them to cover under duress. Like I said you might see a bounce like we did on SKK, but it will be short lived. Look at WTO's trading in late August. Another bounce for 10 seconds post-tank then straight down even more from there. UBXG, HOLO, UCAR, MEGL. The examples are endless for these Asian IPOs. You have one example in HKD of a stock that went from $10 to $2,500 and now there's a lifetime of retail fodder chasing the same dream. Money well spent to whoever set up that HKD pump.

Oh okay sorry I get you! Alerts are on the horizon. We’ve got the new website but email just isn’t a quick enough delivery mechanism so we’d ideally like the app live first so that we can use push notifications. The selection algo is capable of that kind of alert, typically over 30 minutes before it happens. For instance, we were super early on stocks such as HKD, MEGL, AMTD, COSM, etc.
$MEGL no dillution. Company owns the entire floar. Also NEGG ww
I'm calling it now HOLO is going to go crazy. It has these weird pump and dumps whenever the meme's retract. Maybe this is one of the long positions that meme shorters take to stockpile ammunition. My guess that portfolio is made of HOLO, SMCI, GDC, MEGL, HDK. Most of their pumps correlate to a pull back on meme stocks.
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/mobile-health-network-solutions-announces-232800238.html https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1976695/000149315224014168/form424b4.htm I think MNDR is done. Thanks to the earlier post, I learned about Network 1 Financial Securities, Inc. and read the Prospectus. I don't fully get it, but the price surges early on because they have an initial offering with a low float for their class A stocks. Then, when they end the initial offering, you get more class A stocks and some class B as well. With MEGL, it was an offering of 5 million shares that went from 8/5/2022 to 8/10/2022. I double-checked that they weren't lying it really did go up to $250, but after the initial offering ended, it plummeted. I wish I had gotten into this one. I just didn't trust the info. But now I have a better understanding. I will jump at a new N1 deal or an intial public offering with Prospectus that explains the additional float. It's not really a pump and dump since they really do explain the float is going from 2.25 million to 30+ million. I am such a newbie. I have never encountered something like this. Thank you for telling us about this one. I learned a lot. https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2022/08/10/2495453/0/en/Magic-Empire-Global-Limited-Announced-Closing-of-Initial-Public-Offering.html
Im still in this thing. $10.19 and still running. Im still have hopioum for some MEGL action
That is MEGL, 4$ ipo opened above 40, halted numerous time to 250.
MEGL should be a good one, if u can pull their chart on ipo day then u will understand how it works

close to this in unrealized losses. Holding some ADRs that are really weighing me down. hoping for one of those irrational pumps to get out of these positions. Im stubborn enough to hold it unless they decide to reverse split. MEGL
Currently holding MEGL and TOP on the hopes for a lottery ticket. Both have been getting slammed
MEGL. Will rocket to 1.2 to 1.4 soon
> Do you have any evidence that Alibaba and/or Chinese companies are doing the sort of thing you described Are you just willfully ignorant of all the Chinese scam IPO's? e.g.: Luckin Coffee https://www.reuters.com/article/idUSKBN21L1HW/ Magic Empire Global $MEGL It's so prevalent and predatory on US retail stock owners that it even has its own documentary https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_China_Hustle "The documentary reveals systematic and formulaic decades-long securities fraud by Chinese companies listed on the US stock market"
You can tell from a mile away who bought the $9.80 "breakout" and rug pull and is trying to prop it up. Still waiting on that "short squeeze" on WTO, MEGL, STBX, TGL and a host of other Asian IPOs that went kaput and straight to sub-$1 without much of a bounce to speak of. Once a stock goes down as badly as WBUY went down, seemingly on no logical explanation, it's SELLERS who did that, not shorts. They probably got founder shares for a penny stock even selling below $1 is well worth it to them.
You'd be better off with the Chinese pumps like MEGL, TOP, HKD. At least there's a chance of a massive pump into astronomical numbers on a FOMO run because their low float. Those are lottery tickets. Not ZOM
I am interested in others opinions just not ones that have already been through the washer a million times already. GME,BB, AMC are all old news and BETS is a china play but have you seen what those plays bring? Remember MEGL, TOP, UCAR? All went boom. BETS is building a cult like following and it's meme worthy and hasnt been through the wash and played out like an old Joe Biden joke.
There’s a few stocks that have been going nuts since yesterdays after hours. My take is that it’s connected to the AMTD, similar to what we saw with TOP, HKD, MEGL, etc. as a lot of the same stocks are moving in the same ways. Though it hasn’t ever been this explosive.
Almost forgot, excited to see how $TOP will do after being locked down. Either rocketing or going into the ground. $MEGL has been doing things so maybe $TOP will have a final pump like $HKD did.
This isn't a theory, this is a fact. The company in question is AMTD, they're also related to HKD and MEGL. HKD is by far their most successful attempt and was probably their first try at... whatever it is that they done. The previous run from them was the most interesting due to how many stocks were increasing alongside them. There was at least 10 that I was aware of (maybe more, memory is hazy). The media was really quick to blame retail for these stocks because they started trending really well online however it's literally my job to track retail traders, and we were as caught out as everyone else. However, onto your point about TCJH. It might blow up, and I'd love that for you, however I wouldn't bank on it. I don't know that we're seeing the same kinds of patterns that we previously have, though that could be because they've changed the mechanism they're using. Worth watching for sure, especially as TOP is allowed to trade again tomorrow, but I'd be careful.
Yes and no. Here’s the actual timeline: - SEC bans short selling of banks - Next Day, banks spike up - C+35+T+3 later, the biggest drop of the market crash happens, VW simultaneously has its famous “MOASS”. (Note: the VW squeeze was NOT triggered by Porsche that day as we’ve been told. Porsche had in fact reported their call positions for many quarters and articles had even been written about it in the FT. Their position was NOT a surprise to wall street. What happened was that the SEC bank shorting ban caused a ton of new short positions to instantly be underwater and shares had to be delivered. When those deliveries failed ~35 days later, it was the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back, and margin calls happened. It was a combination of the MBS crap we’ve all been spoon fed as the cause, on top of the bank shorts, on top of other short positions, on top of the VW short positions (which had been shopped out to US hedge funds in bulk by Porsche’s bank counterparty to hedge their own position. And boom went the system. This does NOT necessarily mean a bank shorting ban would have the same effect this time. Yes, we now have Commercial mortgages as a problem, and yes they are shorting banks, and yes there are huge underwater short positions elsewhere as seen by the insane “meme stock” spikes, china stock spikes, and hundreds of other stocks spiking that you guys have no idea about (today? IMRN, OKYO, MEGL, INOD, QRTEB, and FUBO to name a few on my cycle list), but would a bank short ban trigger margin calls and thus a crash 35 days later? Who the fuck knows 🤷♂️
Chinese financial tickers with low floats and squeezes imminent. TOP MEGL
It will do the same shit HKD and MEGL did before it. It is almost all gains premarket to pump and then dies during the day until some retail idiots jump in looking to get rich quick in a Chinese scam. If you buy, it should be in single digits and not more than you are willing to throw away. Then if it pops, get out fast. Don't wait for it to make you a millionaire.
What’s matching my loto ticket in MEGL. it’s gonna be lobster for dinner or ramen packet tomorrow night.
Hard to believe that MEGL isn't at all in top 25!
MEGL has already run >550%, what makes you think it’s going higher 😆
MEGL is going to make Monday be amazing

$TOPS, $MEGL and $AMTD too. China is fighting back. Fuck the shorts!
I am a bot. You submitted a picture of a banned ticker, MEGL. The market cap of MEGL is **18,797,660** This check will fire if you included unnecessary pictures that have bad keywords/phrases. Repost with the useless pictures omitted if you did that.
Yes, it’s a shady Chinese pump and dump, BUT…look at HKD. If you wait for it to crash and melt back below IPO price…til it looks dead. Then throw some cash and there will likely be some small spikes to profit from. Just don’t be regarded and believe it will moon again. MEGL came out about the same time…and is up randomly 300% today. Will be back to dead in a day or two.
HUDI up 200% TOP up 1000%+ MEGL 300% Google and Amazon red
Did you see TOP? And MEGL? 🚀🚀 And NOW it’s time for ❗️❗️INPX❗️❗️ 🚀🚀🔥🔥🔝🔝🔜🔜INPIXON like CXAI Let’s fuc**** goooo!!
yup. MEGL UCAR and TCJH got next.
If you missed $TOP, check out $MEGL $UCAR and $TCJH. Yer welcum.
I rode the TOP gravy train yesterday. Now I'm on MEGL
I just got out of MEGL and TOP. That was stressful and fun at the same time. Glad I got out too, as it dropped it like its hot.
Hopefully some of the other ones that were talked about AFTER their initial run will have a second life i.e. MEGL today
Chinese BS stocks are flying today - TOP MEGL GSUN...etc Was there a memo?
I don't usually chime in but if there's going to be another TOP today I think it would most likely be MEGL. Out of all the Chinese tickers I've been watching it has the best volume and movement IMO. NFA.
Bought one share of TOP today at $17 just for fun. Only one cus I didn’t want to FOMO too much in only to see it tank. Current mood: wish I would have bought more. Side note MEGL looks like it’s finally waking up again.
Looking at $MEGL after todays $TOP action
MEGL definitely, but I don’t think HKD did. HKD was infamous for its $2000 run, so I don’t see it stopping at 25%. I’ll probably dip my toe in PM if Chinese stocks keep running. I saw a similar thing happen with GFAI, that’s why I kept it on my radar at $4
MEGL and HKD took off after hours…. Crazy tomorrow?
Sorta like Top, HKD, and MEGL ripping tits out there and we looking at this one? Why?
TOP, HKD, or MEGL. NFA of course.
What the F is happening with MEGL after hours?
Tomorrow ALL IN at chinese scam stocks MEGL and HKD
Need to build these back up for next liquidation LGHL MEGL TOP going too
WE still going LGHL MEGL going with them
Market pump caught some big short firm in a bind and China just exploiting that. It's not just TOP it's all the China scams. HKD MEGL etc.
Dude it’s done. Look at it and UCAR. 90% chance it continues to tank until it finds some bottom sub-$2. 10% chance it bucks the usual trend and somehow has a second pump. Look at the charts of UTME, MEGL, TGL, GSUN, HKD and a bunch of other Asian IPOs once the pump deflated.
Hey all! Just wanted to start by saying thank you to each and every one of you who check these posts out. You're all amazing and attractive. First things first. No TRKA or GNS today. Will be worth checking up on them periodically but they aren't fitting the profile of stocks that we're looking for. Of course some good news RE merger could push both of them into the stratosphere but it doesn't look like there is enough hype right now to push either. Bed Bath here. I think there is absolutely a good chance of profit in this and premarket has been really enticing but I am expecting a pull back on open followed by gains. Seeing this pop up does make me nostalgic for those days where is was running to $30. WINT has had a good few days behind it and the algo hasn't really been enamoured with it. Some really interesting, explosive movement so far this morning has changed that. I think that the risk profile would be a bit much for me at time of writing but certainly one to keep an eye on. CJJD was not doing a whole lot for a long time. It was moving sideways aggressively. Seems to be running out. The price tanked yesterday due to a direct offering. I guess the expectation is a bounce? I don't think we'll see anywhere close to $3 but there may be some profit in this. ALLR. Hit $3 yesterday. Hit 0.75 this morning. Coming back but the question is "how high?". Risky, risky play today. We've seen opportunities like this pay off but you're going to want to be able to sell at a moments notice. LUNR here, too. A stock with maximum amounts of risk. About as close to gambling as the stock market gets. I personally put it up there with HKD, MEGL, and LUCY. Obviously the NASA contract is very exciting but there's that Benjamin Graham quote: short term the market is a voting machine, long term it's a weighing machine. Votes are still coming in. It's a beautiful day and Street Fighter 2 is on the Nintendo Switch. I'll respond to any and all queries in a little bit! Best of luck today! Also, moral quandary for you: if a company (or a C level employee from a company) interacts with us on social media, should we remove that stock from contention? The PRST CEO liked a tweet yesterday and I'm know one or two companies follow us/me on Twitter. I don't know if that creates enough doubt as to our impartiality. Willing to take community direction on this.
Hey all! A few stocks today. Almost all are small market caps. The algo has been really into them since last week, for better or worse. JFBR started off great but pulled back by quite a bit. I guess it's anticipating a reversal? Risky plan, especially with the small market cap. LUCY doesn't really have the kind of reputation that HKD, MEGL, or LUNR has but I honestly think it deserves it. Wild stock. Can do whatever it wants whenever it wants. Currently running out of its mind, be careful of a pull back on open. NCMI up and down. Volatile. If you're choosing to trade this, I think you'll be able to scalp it pretty successfully. By "successfully", I mean, of course, by relying on luck. WW running but is the largest stock here today. Wait, it's Weight Watchers?! The diet people? Fair doos. ZFOX boosted after news of a partnership with Google Cloud. I don't love it so much today but you never know. FRC is trending high, as is TRKA. Too risky for my blood but you may be interested. All the best!
Hey /u/chikadino1 - I am a bot from /r/wallstreetbets. You submitted one or more banned tickers: MEGL. We don't allow discussion of low market cap (less than 500mm) tickers to prevent pump & dump spam and scammers.
MEGL going a little bit parabolic
Are Chinese small caps back on the menu? I see Lichen China Limited (LICN) is on the IPO calendar for Feb. 1. Will it actually IPO? Most importantly if it does, will it moon like HKD, MEGL, GCT and others? Feeling like rolling the dice!

Just saw the move that HKD and MEGL are making this morning, opened a position to ride the wave. Yes it’s a pump and dump, I’m just hoping to ride the pump and avoid the dump.
