A Colorado marijuana manufacturer [has recalled](https://www.seshbycraft.com/product-recall-notice) 49 vape products after methylene chloride was detected in an ingredient used to make the products, just days before the state begins requiring expanded testing designed to detect the chemical. StayCon LLC, which does business as Craft, issued the voluntary recall. Methylene chloride, also known as dichloromethane, is a volatile industrial solvent used in applications including cleaning, adhesives and chemical processing. Beginning Monday, the required panel will expand to 30 substances, with triethylamine eventually becoming the 31st. Many of the newly added solvents, including methylene chloride, are required to return no detectable result for a product to pass testing. MH

I trade extended hours exclusively. Hence, I don’t pay attention to what happens in MH because I don’t need additional emotions driven by FOMO. If you don’t trade extended hours, then there is not much need to pay attention to what happens in extended hours outside of knowing if something gaps up vs down how that’s likely to influence the day for your stocks in play. I will say based your comment about these moves happening in extended hours, that’s because 90%+ of news is released in extended hours. I saw some stats a few times (didn’t personally verify them so take it with a grain of salt) that if you bought companies like NVDA or AAPL (really any of these larger companies) at market close and sold at market open every day it’s historical results were fuckin astonishing compared to if you bought at market open and sold at close. Basically the stats laid out that a majority of the capital appreciation in your position of these companies happen while in extended hours. Again that’s because most news is released after hours, where halts don’t interfere with momentum and trends. Companies don’t want the knee jerk reaction to happen during MH where halts could seriously damper a positive move.
