They aren't profitable yet, so I have a really hard time buying these type of companies, but $MRCY seems really interesting. Company profile: >Mercury Systems is a technology company that delivers mission-critical processing power to the edge, making advanced technologies profoundly more accessible for today’s most challenging aerospace and defense missions. The Mercury Processing Platform allows customers to tap into innovative capabilities from silicon to system scale, turning data into decisions on timelines that matter. Mercury’s products and solutions are deployed in more than 300 programs and across 35 countries, enabling a broad range of applications in mission computing, sensor processing, command and control, and communications. Mercury is headquartered in Andover, Massachusetts, and has more than 20 locations worldwide. Just bought some $9 calls expiring this week for SGML. Market's been rewarding weird ass companies after earnings. Figure this might be like NICE or MRCY.

I'd say not too late to get into smaller defense contractors like Mercury Systems (MRCY)

MRCY up and to the right but another perfect bearish harmonic pattern. Looked to buy puts but the chain has less fans than R. Kelly.

Since you asked. Two that I can think of right now. BABA - Bought in may. Sold in July after 10% drop due to chinese crackdown news on US stocks. Now down 28%. Risk/reward too high on chinese stocks for me. MRCY - Bought in march when stock was $66. Got as high as $78. Got alert when stock lost 10% in may and sold due to run of downward EPS estimates and lowered future growth. Stock has now lost 36% from high. On the other hand, I have quite a few shares of APPS. It is down 28% for me. But, I refuse to sell because it looks WAY undersold right now. EPS and future growth look great. So, I don't always sell at the 10% loss limit. I just re-evaluate. Remember, these are swing trades. I probably average close to 100 per year, with about 20 stocks at any one time. Stop losses have really helped since I started using them. Early on, I really paid the price and some of them lost over 50% with little chance of turning around any time in the near future. I still have a couple of them a year later :( With day trading, I have small stop losses on every trade (1/2 of 1%). This is with a high margin account. If I hold anything long term, I just invest in a S&P 500 ETF. Whenever a friend asks me where to invest their money, I tell them S&P 500 ETF's. I agree that nobody can predict the market overall.

I commented this on the original UFO DD: I'm currently building a Miltary Aerospace/ Imaging Technology List: SPCE, TDY (recently acquired FLIR), UFO, MRCY, BA, RTX, LMT And now heres where my tinfoil hat got me thinking: - UFO/UAPs entering and exiting ocean - remembering conspiracies about antarctica, ancient aliens, and ATLANTIS - WHAT TICKERS ARE FOR NAVAL TECH AND OCEAN EXPLORATION!? I think that along with military aerospace industry, they're gonna be looking in the ocean for where these things are going TO/FROM Anyone got vision on related tickers?

LDOS CACI and MRCY seem like they will be really juicy in the event of a tech sector-wide crash? Anyone worked with them or anything before? Also looking at RGR as a reopening/gun craze play, and EME as an infra play.

$MRCY Mercury Systems, oversold for no reason other than being a tech stock. This stock is primed to make a breakout move, Today they just announced MRCY was selected by NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory to provide solid-state data recorders for NASA’s Earth Surface Mineral Dust Source Investigation science mission. Screw the moon, $MRCY is going to Mercury

I doubt MRCY will get affected that badly with budget cuts. I was also looking at LHX.
