Since the first forbearance, creditors have allowed Luminar execs to spend approximately 40-60million of their free cash, leaving them with a bit over 30mill currently. Their total debt has plummeted from 490ish million to approximately 350 million just since the last forbearance filing. A massive drop. Austin Russell's offer to purchase was contingent on them reducing the debt to 150 million or less. I believe that an acquisition is still on the table. Major restructuring at the least. No way creditors would allow them to spend that money after gaining control if they were just going to let it go into bankruptcy. $NSANY has their new lidar equipped vehicle coming this year with Luminar as a major partner $RIVN releasing news on their autonomous vehicles on the 11th, bringing more news to the Lidar sector. Still holding major partnerships with $NVDA $CAT $INTC among others, and the VP stating they will be showing HALO and Sentinel at CES 2026 with no booth, suggesting partner showings.
