Both of those are locked in a perpetual state of free-fall, with many, many failed bounces. NUWE makes sense, as it's a threshold stock. GMEX is effectively the same thing - but they're managing their FTDs a lot better, apparently. They're both under heavy attack. Likely abusive naked shorting.

6.8 million is a small float, but not "insanely" small any stretch. Just off the top of my head I can come up with a half dozen stocks that are often mentioned on this subreddit and have much smaller floats: FGL 4.84 CYCU 2.42 BCTX 1.67 SBFM 4.90 NUWE 1.63 IQST 3.29 Also, this is not currently "near the bottom of a massive range". LFS 52-week low is $1.68. Current price of almost 6 is nowhere near that. This is that stock that had an insane something like 800% run over a single 24 hr period a few weeks ago. That $12.49 52 high at the top of the range held for all of like 10 minutes. In the month before that insane run the range (from its IPO to the day before the run happened) the range was $1.68 to $4.20, and the trend was clearly downward ($4.20 was Oct 17 and $1.68 was Nov. 10). LFS could have another insane run. But there is no way to predict that, just like there was no way to predict the first run. Betting an another run like happened a few weeks is gambling, which is totally fine, just don't pretend it anything but that.
Nice...market is so crazy. I went into NUWE but was too late. I can't trade before 7am unfortunately. Plus I had to sell some stuff this morning and that hasn't settled yet.

I’d say it depends, these were special cases. What I’ve observed, is that for a stock trading in the mid-low .10s, under 0.10 to make significant movement, it has to happen overnight or AH (BLMZ is a good example of this too) and NUWE rocketed not only because of news but also a post RS surge

I was really hoping for a move by NUWE. Down only 6% but maybe I should jump on the next train? STSS?? I made a nice 30% on SPGC. I'm still in the loss column because when started swing trading I f\*\*\*ed up & bought KULR based on some random guy's/gal's post on this reddit. Holding all the way to the bottom to remind myself to do my own DD. I really enjoy this group BTW. (And, yes, I'm an outlier as a middle-aged woman.) Learning something new everyday.
NUWE's transformation from Sunshine Heart to their current focus on fluid management through [their Aquadex acquisition from Baxter in 2016](https://beyondspx.com/article/nuwellis-nasdaq-nuwe-transforming-fluid-overload-care-with-innovative-aquadex-technology) shows they're serious about the medical device space. Their pediatric segment is crushing it with 28% YoY growth and they just added their 44th pediatric hospital. The 297% Medicare reimbursement increase starting 2025 is massive for their revenue potential.

I don't plan to miss out trying to get cute with it and find a sympathy/partner. $ICU feels to me like as sure of a play that you'll find. I'm not interested in NUWE. I will buy some $ICUCW to hold long term though.
ICU - Seastar Medical. Biotech play. Was Issued an FDA approvable letter (meaning the FDA likey, just gotta speel stuph better on their docs) about a month ago. Outstanding warrants have been executed & the big fish's notes have been converted to common stock (AKA theyre positioned to take profit). Their product helps control kidney inflammation in children. They also have the adult device in the pipeline. Distribution partner (NUWE) is ready to go. Company's director bought 40k shares last week & company just issued shares to a handful of its employees. Ex DOW chemical big wigs on board & DOW chemical is holding bigly north of $7/share. Company expects FDA approval in December or Febuary. Potential for buyout after (DOW chemical prolly) This rocket ship is fueled up & ready to go. Jump on board & buckle up baby. My guess is $2 near term (January or sooner) with potential for much more if buyout happens.

check out ICU, they got FDA approvable letter on 30 Oct, which requires some minor revisions only, AND, they announced partnership with NUWE on 31 Oct, not to mention that ICU withdrew the future offering. Despite of these news, the share price dropped by 20% on 31 Oct comparing to the day before.
I'm surprised $NUWE isn't rallying alongside $ICU. Nuwellis is the marketing & distribution partner for the device SeaStar is getting FDA approval on. Odd.
