Got OPTT. Thing is: This stock keeps on going up and down and is somewhat predictable at doing this. So I have been selling high and buying low. Have between 5 and 10k shares at any time. And so far that has been enough to be in it for free, made back my initial investment plus a couple thousand. I still think the company has a future behind it, especially if they get to improve their power generation by using the ocean. But focus now is defense stock, which is a valid use.
OPTT might be an option as well? They make surveillance buoys for the military

OPTT, hoping it goes on sale tomorrow so I can jump back in. I did well with GSAT, in at $1.83 pre reverse split. ABCL has done well for me, they have a nice cash runway and they are in a phase 2 drug trial. Price is down right now, I’ll add some shares if it falls a bit more.
I am long on KULR and have done well swinging OPTT, and will also go long with some shares.
If I had to invest 10k in a pennystock in particular… XPL would be my top choice for a 5 year hold. Personally OPTT. I’m in for $2K at price average of $0.35. My exit target is $1.5 KULR would be my next recommendation. Pennystock-adjacent I’d invest in PDYN, ONDS, AMPX, POET. No specific order. Personally holding all but PDYN

Defense plays… $KOPN, $DDD, $OPTT, $CPSH, $SRFM, maybe $KITT, $KRKNF (outside pennystock, but still), even $CTM and outside tech play is $MOBX.
OPTT is a penny stock that looks interesting in this space, especially if it were utilized in a ‘system of systems’ setup to work with drones/uuvs. As import and immigration seem to be in focus, the ocean is a big border with little infrastructure.
I am going with OPTT, reason partnership with Anduril. It's a risk, but there is only one Anduril.

Seems like a buying day for most things. OPTT is back down after its bump on news. I got back in. Watching our old friend KULR as well and my old enemy CI3S. Holding IBRX and some other bio pharms too. Pennys aside, its still silver for the win.

You forgot OPTT… they just landed a big contract with Anduril for their Wam-v buoy.

OPTT might go bankrupt, delist, or dilut even more. They issued 172 million shares in 2025, and their cost of operating increased. I believe they only have $11 million in cash which they will burn by the next quarter.

what specific niche? The WAM-V is a niche use fast surface ASV, but not the kind that you want to ram into stuff as a suicide vessel (or at least not currently). They are more very fast observational units as far as I have seen. For most marine naval tech, I point to Teledyne's vast offerings. The conglomerate controls the space, because the militaries can trust the proven track record in sensitive situations. For future Naval tech, it's Kraken because of their deep-sea offerings (battery and acoustics). Everything needs a battery and acoustics, and the deep ocean will become an important area in the future. I dn't think they get bought out because they are getting pieces of the Naval spending from basically every country in the Free World (including non China Asian ones). OPTT's still like a decade out I think from being anything useful . To my knowledge, these PB3 deployments (Navy on the East, now Anduin on the West coast) are testing-phase things to figure out how to actually use the data and how to actually place the super-expensive and defenseless buoys.
OPTT has already been collaborating with the Navy for years. Why haven't they thrown the money yet?
