$ORLA and $OLA rally are giving me an Orlasm 🚀 🚀 🚀
Precious metals miners. Put some time on them. 6-12 months. I.e. Hecla (HL), Orla mining (ORLA), first majestic silver (AG). First majestic can get rocky sometimes and piss you off but the CEO is well known and they have a bit of meme stock reactivity when things start to move. I’m long in AG.

Buying opportunity today. Everything is on sale. So far I have added to GDMN EGO ORLA ARMN CDE GDX.
Look at GDMN and GDX (ETFs). The individual miners I've added to over the last month are BTG, ORLA, ANGPY (Pt) and one other I can't think of at the moment.
Congrats! Wasn’t on my scan, but recently positioned some wait and see antes on $ORLA and $DTREF.
Genuinely confused. I used to have ORLA shares, although I don't really have an opinion on them presently!
lol, you're the same guy as before, just admit ORLA is the superior choice
Looking at ORLA stock, did I miss my entry or is it still a good time to buy?
Canadian mining stocks doing great right now. I got 52% returns on ORLA mining (OLA) in the last 4 months, and about 39% on Q2 (QTWO). Only going to get better, baby. Tech is overrated.
What is it that specifically makes you like ORLA?
A decent gold mining stock that predictably dips and jumps is ORLA. Made a decent amount just riding those waves. Bounces from $3 to $4 pretty cyclically
Orla Mining Q2 Adj EPS $5.00 Beats $0.05 Estimate, Sales $59.27M Up From $47.80M YoYBENZINGA - 5:57 PM ETOrla Mining (AMEX:ORLA) reported quarterly earnings of $5.00 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $0.05 by 9900 percent. This is a 12400 percent increase over earnings of $0.04 per share from the same period last year. The company reported $59.27 million in sales this quarter. This is a 24.01 percent increase over sales of $47.80 million the same period last year.
With upward trend today congratulations to ORLA shareholders. It has one of the finest mining portfolios in the business.
ORLA mining and all mining stocks got hit hard yesterday. I predict we will see a recovery today. Thoughts?
Check out ORLA. I'm kinda glad they are shorted cuz it's going to be insanely profitable and I want in! 😆
I've got IAG calls. Not even sure why I bought them other than they were cheap. AAU leaps were also very cheap. Most bullish on ORLA.
[https://shortvolume.com/?t=orla](https://shortvolume.com/?t=orla) Sourced from daily short sale data freely-available from NASDAQ, does not require a subscription... Short/float is a short sentiment metric, but it is fundamentally poor for gauging squeeze dynamics because it does not factor in volume at all. This is also because the actual equation should be short/(float+short) which accounts for shorts being traded, which IIRC is FINRA's post-GME-squeeze definition. A somewhat useful indicator, but not very sensitive! For heavily traded stocks, shorts can find shares to buy very easily, so a squeeze is much less likely to occur, and if it does it does not affect price much. Furthermore, few of the stocks listed by your sources will ever experience a squeeze simply because of that. Looking at volume/float will tell you immediately, shares are just too easy to find! Granted, a turnaround where shorts start closing out will raise the price, but with high volume/float that just gets traded out quickly and you end up with a gradual and more linear bid-up than a true squeeze which hits the ask violently with parabolic or even vertical price action as an intraday gap-up. (Recall ORPH's insane squeeze dynamics) It does make money, but you'd be hard-pressed to tell the difference between that and natural growth! Comparing short volume to actual volume is a better indicator of squeeze potential at any given time, especially for stocks like ORLA whose float is out there but is held by longs and not actually traded. (Remember GME???) Scanning for shorted stocks ready to squeeze needs to take that into account. Low volume/float combined with high short/volume is a better indication of squeeze potential. Relatively high volume/float and sustained short/volume less than 50% is not. In any case you need volume as a driver and confirmation of a squeeze; a stock going from 1K to 1M volume gets your attention, where one going from 1M to 2M does not. Think about all that for a second. Which security is more likely to squeeze: one with sustained 10% short volume, or 90% short volume? What about 1M/100M volume to float, or 1K/100M? The latter in both times, you have massive short interest plus the indication that most of the float is being held and not sold! That said, the position for the short-hunting investor is exceptionally risky but the equivalent risk as a trader is negligible. With the metrics I use you are more likely to enter into a long-hold position at the bottom because shorts find the support for you. Obvious entry is obvious. This is opposed to the metrics you are using where a security is more likely to be centered in the 52-week spread; much higher risk for much less reward! I will grant you that the metrics you use are very useful to investors who want to take advantage of long-term capital gains tax rates; a linear squeeze-out will actually take a long time to complete! That said, the metrics I outline are also quite useful to investors (especially for those who initiate the squeeze), but much more so for traders who can take advantage of the short term movement through the vertical squeeze-up process.
Here's the website that I used to reference the top shorted stocks (highest on the list is at 39%): https://www.highshortinterest.com/ Also, ORLA only has 4.39% SI according to this source: [https://shortsqueeze.com/?symbol=orla&submit=Short+Quote%E2%84%A2](https://shortsqueeze.com/?symbol=orla&submit=Short+Quote%E2%84%A2) Could you share data backing why you think there is more?
The most shorted stock? Seriously? Only 54% SI? Short sales were less than 10% Friday, so OP is definitely smoking crack or has an agenda. Check out ORLA if you want some real short interest...
I noticed that ORLA is also about to hit rock bottom. Might be a decent bounce on both of these. If you look at today’s chart for ORLA, it looks like it just died - almost a totally flat line at $3.85 but it was $5.02 on June 16
New to the sub so not sure if it's been mentioned before. ORLA mining company. Caught wind of them cause they're beginning a gold mining project in my parents home state of Zacatecas, Mexico. The stock has been great to me these past couple months
"I'll keep this short..." "ORLA has nearly 1800% short interest..." In both instances, I feel like we have different understandings of the word "short."

ORLA is a stock. A stock that I like. Just started trading options.
I’ve got some ORLA. It’s a haunted goldmine or something. It goes up, it goes down. It’s kooky and it keeps everything else in perspective. Down 23% today? That’s OK. Do your thing crazy stock. I recommend it!
ORLA. Insane short interest and it's fairly priced. Construction has already tken place and gold will be coming out by year's end. The also reported that the mine should last 25% longer than anticipated because there's more gold than they realized. It's also a low-float, so get in while the getting is good. Ohh and I forgot the best part is that it gets pump and dumped every morning so it makes the chart look terrible and it gets on the biggest loser list, like it's down over a dollar every morning even though it consistently finishes up and hasn't been $5 since it IPO'd! pos: 1750 shares, price target over $14. Come and get some gold pie, bois! 🌝
Anybody spare some thoughts on ORLA? Picked them up at a decent dip, and am hoping for a short to med length gain if they bounce back... to note: i havent done any *real* research, just reading charts and playing a rookie numbers game.
Is ORLA dead forever???
Good DD. I’ve been thinking along the same lines of shorted stocks suddenly popping off, but didn’t anticipate this as the reason. It makes far more sense that this be the case over GME causing collateral damage. Probably gonna go all in on ORLA Monday, it’s so shorted a million shares getting sold does absolutely nothing to the price and it’s slowly been trending up over the past couple weeks despite the price manipulation in premarket making it look like the bottom dropped out on the line charts. That’s been going on ever since I jumped in.
Bought more $ORLA because averaging down is the only investment strategy I know. Also, rocks are cool.

RH trying to hide this massive discount from us...lol GME isn't even listed on the daily movers list when it should be right behind ORLA today. 🤣 We see you...You can be foolish; we'll all be bullish. 💎🙌🏼
Anyone thought about ORLA? It could go up very easy
