can't lose in these shoes. SPB forever
Who's SPB? I was referencing Musk and Bezos.
He's quite rich, but I don't see how SPB is anywhere near the top two richest people on the planet.
I believe in SPB, RKLB is in good hands with him at the helm and very knowledgeable. They barely hype, realistic in there views and transparent with shareholders
Sam Power Bottom has a nice ring to it, or maybe just SPB moving forward
Agreed. Ditching all my other DCAs to double down on RKLB. In SPB we trust.
Remember this - in SPB we trust.
Seriously why did RKLB just randomly pump from $46 to $75 and now it’s back to $50? If SPB talks about neutron delay during earnings call this will go to $40 something.
100%! Personally I don’t think there is a more exciting company out there…and I’m not just talking about valuation, the stuff they are doing amazing. Love SPB too. Buying at any price under $100
RKLB. There is tons of growth we do and even more we don’t know about yet. I keep holding even during the current valuation, wich rightfully is overblown by all the numbers we can factor in right now, but the big future, long term gains will be made with projects we and probably not even SPB himself are thinking about yet.
Class action? Can’t say I am. I think I do like the company and SPB.
Space applications is where the money is. Even SPB said it and is trying to pivot into the space with the flatellites. AST's business models is the reason it's valued so highly. Very low OPEX and cost to sales, large TAM, civilian and military use cases, very high margin and FCF business
It’s priced for everything working perfectly and it will probably go up another 15% after earnings just due to SPB saying Neutron still exists
Im up about 40k on this right now and letting it ride as well. I believe in the long term vision of SPB and that this could potentially be a $250+ stock in the next 5-10 years.
I think for me it was EveryDay Astronaut on Youtube back in 2021. I don’t remember exactly which video, but i think it was an interview with Peter Beck. I was instantly sold. This guy seemed smart and passionate, and I invested in him. Reddit and Twitter gang later on only solidified my conviction even when the stock was going down. Glad I stuck with it, but not so surprised, I had very little doubts and each SPB interview removed my doubts instantly.
Invested at $4 last year after spending a few months down at the cape watching the spacex launches. Saw there was a time lag between when the launch occurred vs the livestream. Saw an opportunity in this but then realized Rocket Lab launched out of Wallops. I then significantly increased my position after watching interviews of SPB.
Fellow rich bags. I wanna buy a watch for ~ $1.200. Got offered the Seiko SPB321J1. Good for daily wear or somewhere else to look?
thats what u get for shorting RKLB. SPB is king.
Did the same, in 3500 shares @ $4.6. Holding to neutron and beyond, SPB will not let us down
What? I commented the link when SPB literally spells it out. My link must have been removed, not sure how to paste it. He has mentioned this in multiple interviews.
That doc did me in. Watched it, and I was like, I want to invest in this company. I have full trust in SPB. He's the real deal.
I bought 50 shares when it was 4 bucks. Kicking myself a lot rn but it doesn’t matter now I’m over 200 shares and buying more until I reach about 500-750 shares. This is a long term lottery ticket hold for me. Company has a lot of positives and SPB is a genius
I seriously contemplated selling my 11/22 $14c’s when they were at $9…. I didn’t, because A: very well regarded, and B: I believe we have some legs before profit taking on Friday prior to close. This company is doing things that the market just doesn’t seem to fully grasp. Top it off SPB is a dude I’d have a beer with, and that speaks. Industry altering company I’ll ride a short wave of faith for.
got 8k shares and 20 calls riding on this rocket. thanks RKLB, thanks SPB.
Looked into it a few months ago after seeing you comment about it and got in around 6.50 after looking into it & watching interviews with autistic genius SPB. You're the goat
I don’t think SpaceX can meet the demand even if they wanted to. This seems to be SPB whole shtick
Your buying into RocketLab because of Sir Peter Beck. Not all space companies are the same and this is only one SPB.
69 in 420 days SPB would not laugh, his peer Elon would.
imo the most rational bear take is basically "being valued at 1/50th of SpaceX market cap is reasonable, and they don't currently deserve to suddenly be valued at 1/10th or higher" no crew capsule or concrete plans for one no starship/FH competitors for at least the rest of this decade once neutron launches successfully they are 14 years behind SpaceX in terms of medium lift R&D milestones I can buy a starlink panel from home depot and use it in the next hour if I feel like it. all the potential constellations in the world don't make up for already having a working one today. musk is inflammatory but he still has far more power and pull across governments / other companies than SPB, despite how stellar he has performed as CEO.
I’m a RKLB long term investor and I have no idea what catalyst you think would cause a jump like this in the next month. SPB wont sign a Neutron contract until it’s on the pad and I don’t recall any large space systems contracts to be announced in the next few weeks. You could buy leaps… or maybe sell puts. But not short term calls.
welcome to the SPB fanclub
As a RKLB shareholder, just wanna say it's good you mentioned this here. If you said it in that sub someone may attack you. With that I am intrigued by your sharing and would like to dig deeper myself into this. I believe SPB is a good man and brilliant engineer, however unlike some RKLB I'm more contrarian and believe no one is flawless.
I have calls. Am excited for rich. Go SPB. You are winner. 🤗
Hello, can anyone please help me replicate the screening criteria used by an article from a banned site? Each year, the robot (theoretically) buys the 10 cheapest stocks among all U.S. stocks with a market value of $500 million or more, positive earnings, and debt less than equity. My measure of cheapness is the stock’s price/earnings (P/E) ratio — stock price divided by the past four quarters’ earnings. These filters selected these stocks: SWN, GPOR, CNX, SPB, SPHR, PBF, CHK, SBOW, SD, BTU. Market Cap is an obvious filter, and "debt less than equity" would be Debt/Equity Under 1. What filter would correlate with "positive earnings"? Thanks.
I say all this to say you never know what will happen, when you go into a earnings call take it all with a grain of salt. Companies lie and get sued all the time SPB another example of company who faked their earnings. Don’t try to get rich all in one company. Sometimes it works out, most of the time it doesn’t.
$SPB next bankruptcy stock no one is talking about.
What was that jump on SPB 75c's jumped in vol as well ask as well
Right? Both of you hit the nail on the head. Checks every box of what you don’t want to hold. Buy puts and sell calls maybe but I’m almost impressed because these kind of are companies To trade contracts on when ready to learn the more advanced (3&4th lvls ) options strategies. Or Just being bored and really want to just have more money in the market for the eff of it/nothing better to do Lm High enough liquidity for trading a contract or two at least; Low buy in and low(er) MAL for experimenting with Greeks; and affordable enough for many to take positions on both sides to work on risk management Get wild with buying and selling some short guts, RIB/RIC SPB/SCB, and straddles/strangles. Maybe some high premiums on a few?, but they’re definitely moving in SOME direction most days :) I’m scared how often I see these portfolios. This is precisely why more conservative communities advocate against stock picking. OP, find your most regarded friend or foe with some liquidity and message them whenever you buy and have them inverse your position. . Make a deal to add your losses to his gains quarterly or whatever and you split the take.
You don’t think we’re going into a commodity super cycle? If you look at who is buying is oil it’s a lot of retail they have driving into it waiting for crude to sky rocket. I think hedge funds are taking profits shaking out people so that when retail sells they can buy a bunch of shares up at the bid before driving up the ask. Short term oil goes down imo. Long term we still have catalyst’s. 1. Russia still has no intention of turns on the gas. 2. Download the CME you can see that simple things such as orange juice, corn and soybeans have all skyrocketed over %200 percent but us inflation reported cpi is only %10. Something smells rotten in Denmark. I highly suggest you go look up what actually makes the CPI data. 3. There is a looming famine in the distance. You’ve heard the UN talk about it, our president talk about it. And now people are starting to find basic items missing. China OWNS %70 of the worlds grain supply. All farmers around the world have said this is the worst crop yield they have seen in years. This is a commodity super cycle on the way that will be bottle necked by the fact that oil is more expensive. Companies like SPB are taking 400 million in losses quarterly due to the oil crisis. Watch it closely don’t get greedy and remember the trend is your friend.
Hindsight Trading’s Daily Update: Despite the difficulty we faced today, just know there are always real lucky bastards out there. For instance, the asshats that bought SPB’s $65 call enjoyed a gain of 6776.23% today. While those folks felt good about themselves, they are gonna lose that shit-eating grin when the ENPH $335 call buyers start bragging about selling the top today for a cool 23,450%. Those calls opened at .02 and traded as high as 4.71. In fact, all the ENPH calls between $327.5 and $337.5 had daily high gains of at least 8,557.14% and most three strikes hitting over 10,000%. Numbers are from TDA and calculated using u/Rage_cakes 0DTE calculator. Be on the watch for our next update as we show just how high a perfect run this week would have taken a $100 bet.
$SPB puts cheap af, just low volume
Fucking recruiters. *Hey SPB, we have an exciting opportunity that you will be a good fit for* OK, what's the job and comp? *It's a 50% pay cut and three steps down the corporate ladder. We'll set up a call with the hiring manager. * 🤡🤡🖕🖕🤡🤡
Sorry to say that, but it definitely take long. Even if war ends, I think it may take years before it gets “unlocked”. Also you can see what happens with American stocks on MOEX or SPB exchange. They’ve got sanctions so they can’t sell it as well and investors don’t really hope they could sell it in the near future
Look at SPB and tell me if that's a boring ride.
SPB puts have been free money. Poor soul.
SPB has been in a terrible accident.
Short SPB and NCNO....
Many may be full of shit but this is how it works. Alot of people dont have to balls or network to get it done. 2009-13 Florida was a gold mine of opportunity. Example, houses a block off the Gulf of Mexico in SPB were going for under 100k. After minimal diy rehab, it becomes an AirBnb fetching 3500k/mo, or 1500/wk. Its the beach so its booked 80% of the year. Cash cow. Sold for just under 600k.
The fuck is SPB. Also nobody cares about the US lmao get over yourself
The Seiko Presage SPB169J1 has a green dial with hemp leaf patterns. Other colors are available.
*Hi Mr Market, this is SPB. I'd like to buy some 🪑s* OK, we're fresh out of 🪑s. How do you feel about 👜s? We have heavy, NFLX, and 🍀. Do any of those tickle your fancy? *No, uh, maybe I'll look at 007s.* Hmmm, looks like you're a boomer cunt and have maxed out your i007s. You should probably do something different. *What about... You know never mind. You're clearly working against my happiness anyways.*
Dear Universe, Please cause a minor catastrophe over the long weekend. Sincerely, SPB
I've a Russian Passport but all of my stocks are in a US based account. Time to learn how the SPB exchange works.
Anyway, I’m a foreigner living in Moscow. A lot of foreigners are trying to leave Russia, several international companies seized operations already. So many people are going to be jobless, the stock markets don’t work. State media is running misinformation campaigns and the worst part is that there are so many uneducated idiots who believe these blatant lies. There are protests everyday in SPB and Moscow, today children were arrested. So yeah, things are going to absolute shits. The Russians (my colleagues and friends from business school) fear that it’ll be live the times of the USSR with iron curtains.
The SWIFT sanction is just to make news (and political ratings i guess). After Russia has been threatened to be cut from SWIFT in 2014 several banks started to invent their own financial telecomunication systems. The best one so far - SPB is working for 70% of internal transactions. Could be any second changed to 100% as all banks claim. So basically SWIFT are only used for foreign trade. And here's the thing, a lot of countries who actually trade with Russia was against the SWIFT ban - it would make them pay more for commodities, casue it's buyer who're usually paying rised infrastructure costs. So right now they're going to ban from SWIFT all the banks that actually NOT involved in international trade. So the banks that very rarely use it (to trasfer money abroad of instance). It's sanction on the level of Canada who now stopped buying russian oil. (which they haven't been even buying before)
Is the $SPB news good or bad for the stock?
If you want to play the evictions/foreclosure games play spectrum brands SPB (maker of Kwikset locks) and VVNT for home security/alarms. Unfortunately PODS and PackRat are not publicly traded in regards to portable storage containers
To add - SPB takes up about 9.5% of my portfolio
SPB Exchange temporarily stopped the trades on $WISH and $CLOV. $WKHS should be next.
Doesn’t sell... we buy on SPB not on NYSE
Wait you guys do that stuff?? I've just been buying random penny call options in stuff and making money from it.
Anyone playing SPB earnings Friday PM?
