Vital Farms (VITL) Insider Buying Has Gone Stratospheric the Past Week
I just invested $25,000 in... eggs ($VITL)
VITL: An Eggcellent opportunity
How is that possible? VITL is 107% owned not including retailers like me

Do you have any thoughts on the current blip of activity over at VITL ?
That side is going well. The equities I own PYPL VITL SMCI have been struggling especially PYPL.
I have a mountain of PYPL leaps, lot of SMCI/VITL and a bit of other stuff. The majority of the run was PYPL and SMCI
my only awful play was getting too deep into VITL trying to swing trade it
Praying for SMCI tomorrow. Need this bitch to start the move to $60. Then I need PYPL to get a takeover bid at $90 Then VITL to have a good Q3 and get to $20. IF all that happens I got myself a 7 figure account. When it obviously doesnt, I keep scrabbling
PYPL SMCI VITL Death.
Thank you brother I generally don’t but I just kept legging into this VITL play hoping it would turn around and I’d get out but I got burnt to a crisp instead and left with a gigantic bill. Options on margin lmao. Get rich or go broke trying
Yeah I am devastated on VITL absolutely lost my whole ass- all the calls I had have gone to 0 and the shares are down 65%. Thats why I had a gigantic margin bill to pay off. PYPL I'm down on but I've been averaging down a bit as I paid the margin and its not toooooo bad and I want to buy a lot more around 40. I've been nibbling at ABDE UBER SMCI RDDT as well and pretty much the whole suite of them are up today. That said I'm mostly bitching to bitch and theres a good chance they all fall to lower prices in the coming weeks.
VITL Vital Farm I just like eggs
The next is Vital Farms VITL. I just like eggs
Ironically my VITL stock is up today. Eggs lol. Chickens are the evil masterminds behind the cabal.
you should buy BYND and VITL. If you are betting in this, you should be buying futures not a stock
Wow; those VITL shares i bought on the egg DD a few weeks ago are gonna print.
While the rest of market is crashing, VITL is offering you a nice egg in this trying time.
there's something going on at VITL but I just can't put a finger on it. Egg and Chicken problem (no pun)? RSI already catching up to reflect in current price?
I like eggs as a better source of protein. Vital Farms VITL has been beaten down and may be a good opportunity.
Anyone else watching VITL?
VITL is an example of solid value in the market but money is going to chase AI plays instead of chilling in eggs.
Thoughts on VITL- stumbled across it 115% institution ownership… maybe a squeeze and hedge? Everyone needs eggs?
Look at VITL- 115% institution ownership… thoughts on a short squeeze incoming?
Damn people either got egg on their face or drinking eggnog with their pinky out right now. Insane move on VITL. Been watching all the DD and discussion the last month.
VITL exits the butter line to refocus on eggs. There's a lesson for me here specifically.
Apparently VITL was a pump and dump
Wtf VITL. Eggs are killing me rn.
VITL Lmao. Down 30% on earnings after already cratering this year. RIP that VITL bag holder who used to post here.
small $VITL play will come to fruition
Just goes to show you, make a nicely formatted feasible long post on WSB about Eggs, and get your bags unloaded for free. VITL is almost at all time lows now. LOL.
100x leverage on VITL calls because you like eggs
Or somehow we see news floating like "VITL is using footsteps to generate electricity" 😭
VITL pumps into earnings. Way over shorted
These $VITL spam posts are getting out of hand
I don't think people with food shortages are going to turn to "premium" eggs. Fertilizer shortages also isn't good at all for VITL, how would rising costs improve the business?
What are your thoughts on VITL? great fundamentals. No debt, heavily shorted. Wish it was 10 days to cover instead of 3.5 but still.
I won't fault you for that but it's worth considering the prices insiders were buying VITL at....
Having the strangest day. Took the bus over to the market to buy some VITL eggs. The dude at the register was on some rant about the stock and said Michael Burry was going to lose all his ornamental gourd futures money because there is short squeeze on this stock. The dude behind me was pivoting on one foot ranting about witchraft and kept asking if he should buy stocks in shrooms or in AI porn. I was like, c’mon, man, I just spilled all my choccy milk and I just want to go home…can you PLEASE put the eggs in the bag? And then some kind of robot called me a nerd and said a bunch of weird shit in the parking lot.
I am a VITL shareholder. I just like eggs
#TLDR --- **Ticker:** VITL **Direction:** Up **Prognosis:** Buy Shares / Long Premium Eggs **Catalyst:** Impending fertilizer shortages, inflation, and a "bullsh*t-free" chicken gang ready to make eggs worth their weight in gold. **WSB Logic Level:** Maximum. OP is literally using 19-year-old handwriting for technical analysis and citing time-traveler data from April 2026 to justify a $25k YOLO on poultry.
VM should I go long on $VITL before or after earnings? I don't want to miss a squeeze but not sure the bottom is in yet
VITL and PYPL, that person needs to focus on their job 💀
HOLY - I just checked VITL for the first time in a while. Its down to 13/share. Last a checked earlier this year it was at like 30. That one dude who posted in here got smoked.
The question becomes: to what? I want to buy more of things where I can build a fundamental thesis for the foreseeable future. I don't want to buy something just because it's down a lot. I don't want to buy an ADBE even if I don't think it's a zero. Most of software just isn't interesting. At the same time, I don't want to have an excessive allocation to something like one of the thematic bets. I own a lot of AI-related names, have added a little more. I own a lot of real asset names (gold miners, gold etfs, oil, copper, etc) and have added a little. I have found a couple of things lately that have appeal that are off a lot largely because of what's going on (FTAI in the low $200's) and a couple of obliterated names (VITL with an absurdly oversold RSI of 14 and a 30% short interest.) I don't want to buy stuff just to buy stuff, I really want to find things I can build a thesis around and feel strongly about and not really finding a lot of that. Often times over the years I'm trying to look for the next theme and ... I just am not finding a compelling one. I don't see this as a time to decrease exposure, but not finding much in terms of increasing exposure. Usually have a bench of a lot of ideas waiting to be put in if need be, but that's pretty empty at this point, as well.

I gotta find individual companies to buy, market is going to be strong now, Trump is literally telling you he is going to end the war. Inflation will be "transitory" just like the douche bag in my closet. RDDT VITL . What else you guys got? TY
This sale continues a recent pattern of insider disposals (Dec. 15, Jan. 2, Feb. 2 and Mar. 2), totaling 70,000 shares sold at progressively lower prices, signaling sustained insider liquidation despite Ohayer’s large remaining stake. Morgan Stanley reiterated an "equal weight" rating and set a $24.00 price objective (down from $45.00) on shares of Vital Farms in a research report on Friday, February 27th. As of March 2026, Vital Farms (VITL) has experienced a significant increase in short interest, with roughly 24.4% of its public float sold short (8.6 million shares). The stock faced downward pressure in early 2026 due to lowered revenue guidance for FY26 and reduced profit expectations. Short interest increased by 9.13% between mid-February and mid-March 2026, in light of the Annual report issued in February and the announcement of the stock buyback program
Maybe switch to free roaming free VITL$
The chart is abysmal, but VITL is looking really interesting from a valuation standpoint. For what hay it's worth, Gemini estimates the next support level around $15.
Same I got burned on SPY calls last week while playing around learning to buy calls and puts. Expensive mistake. Made it back on VITL and LUV today.
Lol they're portfolio was based on VITL and PYPL, both great picks. They should probably give up on stock picking.
Checking in on the guy whose port relies on VITL? Hope your ok bro
for earnings that didnt go so well... VITL. released at 7:30 conf call at 8:30
Finally VITL earnings are here. I’m either gonna get dusted or make a massive comeback. If they deliver on their guidance it seems like a slam dunk
you bitches forgot VITL thursday before open!
VITL & JD buyers are worse than gay bears, respectfully
Man I need this VITL ER to come. I cant stand the wait anymore. Either post some monster numbers and save my life or confirm lack of pricing power and send me to hell. Lets get it fuckin over with.
This might sound stupid, but VITL products are sold in ~26000 stores. They are guiding for 940M in revenue in '26. Thats $100 per store per day in revenue. Thats like 6 dozen eggs, three bags of hardboiled eggs and 2 boxes of butter. Seems very very attainable. Looking forward to their ER next week. If its good and shows they have premium pricing power, theres ~30% Short interest on the stock and those guys might get blasted. Could easily rip back towards ATH between this earnings and the next earnings. Then again maybe theyre right, VITL has less pricing power than expected, they have shit earnings either through mid revenues or lowered profits due to discounts and it falls as far as it wants to and my finances need an ambulance.
Bet half the farm on PYPL and half the farm on VITL. Lost the farm.
"all their eggs".........VITL of course.
2 solid days on VITL.. god willing it’s making a little run into earnings and they don’t disappoint. Forcing some short covering would be a god damn blessing to my soul
Every day the indexes get shit on VITL is up big. Hilarious how hard the short narrative is pushing ‘bad news’ nonsense at this thing.
u\\KnowledgeNate Are you still in VITL and do you think this current activity is just the usual variability of VITL, or something more ? I still like and hold the stock. $6.99 in my local store and worth it to me.
I'm wondering if that's more media headline > liquidation events. I don't understand it. They're buying industrials (CAT) and retailers (WMT) at extremely high valuations with poor growth relative to the SAAS companies today. I've noticed it's not just SAAS, even names like SOFI, chips in general, VITL (eggs), TTD (I guess that's still SAAS?), PYPL (shouldn't be under $50) etc. If the stocks have been down to start the year, they're off a cliff in the last week. These prices are getting absurd.
VITL, TTD, ADBE, SAAS in general.. man, when the chip names bubble pops in a couple years.. I'll be glad to own my VITL at 10, TTD 12, ADBE 140, etc... better than a MU at 50 again from today's prices.. PYPL valuation has gotten truly insane. I'm going with the belief it's a kitchen sink quarter for the new CEO.
Added 10k more PYPL and 5k VITL. I need some milk
This is why I find the narrative so insane. Okay, so the company needs only 7 seats instead of 10.. say each employee was paid 100k.. that's 300k in savings. If each license cost 10k, the seller of the licenses can raise the price 50% and STILL be saving the buyer tons of labor costs. OR they just go straight into a consumption model that will again, likely increase revenue not decrease it. This is a Tiktok death of meta or ChatGPT end of GOOG, or even the death of Netflix narrative. The psychology is broken, but the businesses are all still firing on all cylinders. INTU, NOW, CRM, ADBE, TTD, and (completely separate but wildly undervalued) VITL. I've purchased positions on all of these in the last 6 months (INTU, NOW, CRM in the last week). I'm a firm believer wallstreet is selling on fear but the future businesses are 100% intact. I've always hated SAAS valuations but this is a gift.
Is this recent VITL egg controversy just overblown? I see these videos of nobody buying their eggs at stores, but I need to see it for myself before I believe those vids.
Detractions I’ve heard about VITL mainly involve egg prices but I am finding it curious that over the last 3 weeks while prices have turned back up CALM is up 15% while VITL is down 15%. Can’t have the cake and eat it too.
I think I've been adding too fast to these positions. Gotta slow it down and just drip into shares. 25 shares of PYPL and 40 shares of VITL every day. Keep depositing and wait for the turn. Maybe sell some CC on spikes when price is up and vol is relatively high. FUCK.
If everyone could go out and buy VITL products to help me outta this hole I’d sure appreciate it 🤣 Fml
Viral tiktok about VITL eggs causing their sales to decline, puts?
If you see anything there from VITL let me know
LMFAO for me its VITL but I feel you dawg.
You'd be better off giving up on VITL. Not sure what you see in that one. You'd be better off in metals or index funds IMO. PYPL value trap.
I been here debating the value proposition of PYPL all morning and finally saw that both VITL and PYPL are having great days. Doesnt do much overall but it feels nice to have a big green one
Gotta be a smaller company that can be manipulated, possibly it was the VITL pumpers
u/marthajulietta you delete you account?! you bagged the fck out of me on $VITL
Yo, rip that large VITL position holder. Apparently some scandal about their egg quality and hen feeding practices.
Tough few weeks for my portfolio and my morale. VITL has had essentially 7 weeks of intense selling pressure already and looks like it may fall off a cliff. Tough to understand against their balance sheet and growth prospects. At this point I'm not uber thrilled with my position being so heavy on 4/17 calls I would really like to roll those out a bit if they dont make some serious progress pre earnings. Regardless I'm not folding this- I injected 60k in cash and hit a lucky move on AXTI for 35k so I freed up significant space if things continue to go against me and I need to add on. The selling cant last forever, the business is very healthy and there is a 27% reported short interest which can get squeezed very hard. Even another pity run back to 36 gets me quite profitable and allows me a lot of maneuverability. PYPL also busting my balls but its fine, I sleep real easy with my 2028 calls. I've been accumulating a lot in the last $2 and I hope it stays in the dumps long enough for me to get out of my VITL trade and plow it in at a good price. If there is a good earnings and it somehow makes it to 50, ill deposit another large chunk and and go nuts on a Jan 28 50/85$ call spread. Too much hate and risk:reward is too good. I know yall sick of hearing about these two but too bad. Able_Show troll of the month Some tough weeks behind and probably a couple more ahead too.
Catching knives is fkn hard. VITL and PYPL stressing my ass out
the manipulation on $VITL is borderline criminal
Almost cant believe VITL running up into close. Usually uses this time to give back any gains it had made during the day. Chart still obscenely ugly but earnings keeps inching closer
VITL is killing options premiums w/ this 30 pin, wtfrick
VITL - why we flushing into close? any news?
$VITL gods, we are holding our rock hard support at 30
I had a weird obsession with VITL last year for some odd reason. Sold out with a small gain and never looked back. Don't get hung up on a loser. It's better to cut and run and find another play instead of doubling or tripling down on a losing bet.
VITL gives zero fcks about this spy dip
$VITL has bottomed, few understand
$VITL - MMs with the stop loss hunt trying to take out retail longs, luckily, my stop is set at $15
Tossed another 10k into July Calls on VITL and 6k on Jan 2028s 32.5c on PYPL
And some might show the picture from D.A.R.E and say 'This is your brain on VITL. TY though. If we go on a little run I'm going to roll my calls out to July I think I need more time
I was reading some VITL releases last night 145M cash/securities 0 debt Spending 80-100M on CAPEX this year vs 10 last year but that is mostly finished They own both the land and the processing facilities in Missouri and their new location in Indiana Looking for 30% topline growth in 2026 Seems like a slam dunk trading at 22x with those types of growth numbers. Any additions will be for July options
if assets are inflating how can you explain the price of $VITL?
went short $SLV again today and went long $VITL, what could go wrong?
