There’s an analyst doing a case study on MediPharm labs. https://microcap.com/case-studies At least someone out there with a few wrinkles in their brain is paying attention. There’s also been some bullish sentiment on the stockhouse bullboard messages lately. The apes have been talking about the new CEOs last company (Perdue pharma) and the possibility of their trust funds obligations that include developing an opioid addiction medication. They’re also aware of MediPharms developments and trials that are in the works. The fact they’re debt free / rate hike immune and have so many catalysts and potential it’s mind boggling that they’re valued this low. I’m expecting some movement in March after the special shareholder meeting and VIVO acquisition. Possibly a reverse split and uplisting application to the NAS. They haven’t done a RS before and tbh it could use one for liquidity/ get the stock to move. I don’t see them following with any offerings though (at this valuation). If they did that would be game over and they should know that. It would make more sense to focus on uplisting before dropping any big pharma news or a sector shift. Big money won’t participate in labs if they’re on the OTC but can’t say it’s impossible. Liquidity, solid balance sheets, sequential growth are the check list. It’ll take some time but I feel they’d reached the inflection point. GL

Damn, so another company on my monkeypox watchlist was rocketing over the last week - VIVO. This morning in premarket apparently they closed a buyout offer with SD Biosensor (Korean company, 137310.KS ticker) @ $34/share. They (VIVO) were at 34.30 peak yesterday. They apparently have developed an antigen tester for early monkeypox detection, which would be very helpful as current testing capacity is severely limited (apparently already overwhelmed to the point where they're refusing to test people for mpox if they're not a gay male - resulting in underreporting of cases) Anyone know how to buy Korean tickers with a US account? lol if you have access to them, probably a decent buy. They've been printing money with their Covid kits, and if they have the first-in-best-dressed monkeypox testing kit they'll likely rocket more.

Curious for some feedback on my portfolio. I have a high risk tolerance but was recently wondering if I had too much allocation to micro and small cap stocks. I have been trying to move into more stable dividend stocks. I believe in all of these companies, and try and look for companies with a good risk/return. I plan on holding for retirement, but second opinions are always welcome to help me evaluate my investment thesis. SRU.UN (tsx)- SmartCentres REIT: 18.1% Great dividend (7%), and I believe in their intensification plan to move into residential RE. Canadian real estate is going crazy and they have a pretty good book value of assets along with the payout. Large insider and institutional holdings, and their plan to diversify their existing portfolio is a smart move. ENB - Enbridge: 12.7% Believe in the company even through transition away from oil. NG isn’t going anywhere, and infrastructure from pipelines can still be utilized for biofuels and potentially hydrogen transport (notoriously difficult to transport). Pipelines becoming harder to build, so existing ones are valuable. Also, oil probably won’t decline that much anyways, but even in that circumstance I don’t think they will suffer very much. MAXN - Maxeon Solar: 12.6% Really high quality solar panels with a strong management team and institutional holdings. Their main focus is on distributed grid panels (rooftop). I believe the future is in DG power, since renewable energy is difficult to store and transmit. Not currently profitable, but they have an EV of 450M and only 600M market cap. Annual revenue of 850M for 2020. BRM (tsx) - Biorem: 10.0% Really strong balance sheet and large (>60%) institutional holdings in China. Canadian engineering company that handles gas emissions and waste treatment solutions. Only 20M market cap, revenue of 25M and 10M net cash on hand.. only thing wrong is it has very low volume and is quite volatile due to that. They are planning to expand in China which I think has a lot of potential. They hold a surprising amount of technology and patents for waste treatment. T (tsx) - Telus: 8.4% Wanted to diversify into telecom, and I thought telus was the most quick to adapt in a fast moving environment. Also like a lot of what they’re doing with Telus Health, international, and agritech. Becoming more like a tech company that a telecom company. NPTH (tsx) - NeuPath Health: 7.3% Runs a network of pain management clinics in Ontario. Looking to grow through M&A strategy, with goals to be able to provide pain management through insurance and employee plans. Movement to telehealth for organic growth. 30M market cap, >40M in revenue. Cash flow positive, but with tons of room to grow. Looking 10+ years out on this one. MAL (tsx) - Magellan Aerospace: 6.8% Not an expert in the aerospace field, but I bought based on revenue and balance sheet numbers. They assets of over 1B (525 current assets), and only 300M in liabilities... 600M market cap seems insane to me. Not to mention that they also have reasonable growth and a 4% dividend... Continuously bringing in new contracts, and around 80% institutional holdings. Low volume on this one as well. VIVO (tsx) - VIVO Cannabis: 5.2% Probably one of my riskiest plays, but I believe that they will become cash flow positive in the next year. They are (IMO) one of the more reasonably priced cannabis companies due to them being priced at around 50M currently. Revenue grew 40% in 2020, and is expected to continue. What I like is that they are focusing on Cannabis concentrates and edibles, and moving away from flower product. I think flower is too easy to buy on black market and grow at home, while people will pay a premium for concentrate products. They’re moving into EU and Australia, and focusing more on medical cannabis side.
What’s canopy buying next? My bet is: VIVO Dumpster fire stock with decent products.

I follow VIVO Cannabis for a few years now. The price is very low at the moment because people fear them going bankrupt. The CEO was replaced in early jan and I'm very very confident that he can find investors since he was the president of the holding company of whiteclaw in Canada. Might be a bit more on the risky side but i can really recommend you looking into this. There is good DD on seeking alpha to start with. CHeers!
Samsung was up and running in China back in 2015. Guess what happened in 2016-2017? They got curbstomped by Huawei, Xiaomi, OPPO and VIVO. The Chinese can do insane stuff in just one year.

Buying VIVO hard. Great balance sheet. Great profit margin. Trading at $22/share down from $30/share 2 weeks ago on bad news that there covid test was denied by the FDA. I don’t see a big boom happening from weed stocks because the supply is over saturated. New companies are still entering the market and there still a lot of debt associated with the rush to grow. I do personally own VIVO and FIRE because they have a good balance sheet. I’ve read speculation of larger companies buying VIVO to capitalize on their license to sell in Europe. Get in where you think but my opinion is the weed stocks will all bounce around for a while until the sector stabilizes. I also follow the notion of investing in companies you want to see in your future. As for OTC, you trade otc stocks, you don’t invest in them....but every now and then a company grows out of otc VIVO 😉

I've been invested in Zena for a long time. 2020 was a really big year. 1) Q3 2020 saw net cannabis revenue increase to 19 mil. ( a trick a lot of the other companies do is list the gross revenue... cough TGOD) 2) Q3 2020 Zena sold over 7800 kg of cannabis 3) Q3 2020 was the third straight positive EBITDA quarter at 3.5 mil. Q1, Q2 and Q3 add up to 9.2 mil 4) New CEO started at the end of Q3. He's a big deal and was CEO of McCains Canada 5) Debt was reduced dramatically in 2020 and remaining 60 mil debt was restructured in 2021. 6) Zena cash interest payments are now well below their EBITDA 7) Farmers.. cost per gram is near the industry bottom There's just no comparable company. TGOD, FIRE, VIVO etc are no where near ZENA but market caps are all higher. Heck ZENA has the same market cap as AGRA who has never even harvested.
FIRE - earnings after close. I think regardless of the surprise (within reason) it will rise to dizzying heights in the coming years. A growing market... pun very much intended. From trading view I read the earnings forecast of around 13.29million CAD. Market cap of 216.44m. 400 employees. 283 million of assets. 503.35 million total shares outstanding Basic EPS: -0.398 Share price = 0.5 CAD EARNINGS REVENUE FORECAST: 13.219 Million CAD EPS ESTIMATE: -0.01 To put that into perspective ACD current data from trading view: Market cap: 3.63 Billion CAD 2,731 Employees 2.75 Billion assets 184,191 million shares outstanding Basic eps - -33.9094 Share price - 23.96 CAD EARNINGS REVENUE FORECAST: 69.439 Million CAD (Noice) EPS ESTIMATE: -0.31 I by no means suggest that ACB is overvalued. On the contrary if you put this into perspective of tech stocks it is conservative. Or I won’t use the “T” word here in case I geT into Trouble. On the contrary I am saying that FIRE is significantly undervalued, in a huge way if their revenue forecast is anything to go by. Looking at it in simplistic terms it would take FIRE 16.373 years to pay its market cap from its revenues. This is only the beginning of a massive economy which will begin to go global in the coming years. Once this happens it’s established and profitable companies that will come out on top. ACB would take 52.276 years based on this forecast. To be fair to ACB this is not bad based on their size. If they can get down operating costs and scalability perfected then they will increase their profits exponentially and I would still say is a very good long term cannabis play. But I like pennies. And FIRE is a very hot penny stock rn that won’t stay in this forum for long. 🔥 🌱 Also it is this stage of a market that is flooded with companies trying to establish themselves. The larger the size can sometimes be the downfall. Issues in manufacturing, quality control, contracts pending governmental approval. All of these factors can be serious hurdles for a company in this market. Going from black to white doesn’t, and can’t happen overnight. As a result the supply chain and distribution chain is still not close to the pharmaceutical industry proper. So approach with caution folks. We all know what happens when you play with fire... You get burned . . . THEN IT FREES YOUR MIND I’m diamond handing this one. As well as VIVO CANNABIS. VIVO share price is still minuscule 0.36 CAD. It has contracts to supply medicinal marijuana to the French and German governments. These are long long plays for me. I see a bright and prosperous future from these Canadian based companies as they have not pandered to the hype train over the years and just got on with what they were doing. Getting very good at it IS WHAT THEY ARE DOING... 💎🤙
God, I hope so!!! 'Been holding XLY for a LONG while now... only 1k shares... but up 30% today. Sold 1000 APHA this morning at $39, bought for $8 -- it was time, Tilray merger notwithstanding. ACB +21% (still down a LOT from purchase), MMEN +35, FIRE +16%, VIVO +14%. Not a bad day at all ;) Now... What to buy next... I'm thinking FTRP. Thoughts?

ALL the weed stocks have gone up including the cheaper ones like ACB, VIVO, FIRE. It is what it is. I think this trend was organic unlike OP assumes. I think it was nudged by the fact that there is a US government who is more likely to support legalizing weed at the federal level.
FIRE, VIVO, ACB are all up! It's madness.
