Virgin Galactic would like one more pump so it can dump and delist Just like VORB
SPCE never went bankrupt, you are mistaking it with VORB. Seriously guys stop talking on WSB if you know nothing about the stock market, it's like mistaking TSLA with TWITTER and SPACEX and then saying that TWITTER failed to launch of their starship just because they had the same ceo at this point, you are the only moran here
Ofc look what happend to VORB
As recently as May 19th, Beck said Neutron was on schedule for launch in end of 23… THEN they bought VORB facility/assets and said the acquisition will drop costs and speed up timeline. Very confident for a conservative guy.
Lettttsss go RKLB, poised for liftoff today. Thanks for failing VORB!
They’re buying $VORB’s facility, not SPCE
and end up like sister company VORB.. in heaven
>Look at that 3.17 average Yep, saw it. >the fact that it's shares Yes. At least we know OP wasn't dropped on his head as a child. >Nothing will expiry worthless here. I'm pretty sure they would "expire" worthless if we have a repeat of $VORB, you know, Bransons' latest failed venture. >Already 50% **unrealized** gains too Fixed it. >slap a trailing stop loss on this bad boy $5 says OP hasn't set a stop loss. >OP is good to go He won't be until he have closed his position. >120% more intelligent than most YOLOs here. Definently not. Even VM called BS on this one, and he isn't even human, lol.
VORB in heaven: "join us"
Or go bankrupt like sister company VORB
They launch the second most rockets stateside annually, next to SpaceX Unlike ASTR, Firefly and VORB their rockets actually work
VORB was destroyed, I don't trust this plus is it is not even on any squeeze plays regarding push. Too cheap to move at 2.48% 2.58% 40000 2023-05-09 08:30:04 2.48% 2.58% 15000 2023-05-09 08:15:04 2.48% 2.58% 15000 2023-05-09 08:00:05 2.48% 2.58% 0 2023-05-08 17:45:04
I am a bot. You submitted a picture of a banned ticker, VORB. The market cap of VORB is **39,767,690** This check will fire if you included unnecessary pictures that have bad keywords/phrases. Repost with the useless pictures omitted if you did that.
Buy? No? Hold as a stark reminder of my bad investments? Yes I threw $100 at VORB trying to catch the falling knife, now its worth like $15 lol I'm not gonna sell the bottom at this point, now I'm just gonna keep that giant red candle to remind myself to make more thought out decisions (even if it was only $100)
Idiots trying to squeeze BBBY in the midst of a bankruptcy filing need to go look at VORB Filed for bankruptcy over the weekend, was delisted 3 days later.

*offer not valid for BBBY or VORB
"Virgin Orbit (VORB), the satellite startup which spun out from Virgin Galactic in 2017, closed at 15 cents a share on Tuesday after filing for Chapter 11." "In January, Virgin Orbit attempted its first launch from Britain, but the mission was a failure. The rocket and the satellites belonging to the U.K., the U.S., and other governments never made it to orbit" True regard
If we post about it it’s probably beacuse were trying to unload bags speaking of VORB is supposed to secure funding by end of week sell to 1 dollar contracts for 50 a pop
I'm still in VORB, I got in at .18 Hopefully I did not miss my chance to sell for profit. Hoping for a spike up Monday so I can sell
I think VORB filing for bankruptcy unfairly hurt the price this week.
put a stoploss on part of my VORB, hit and then started to rocket. ofcourse.
Finally got lucky with a bankruptcy play, VORB.
Anyone taking a stab VORB? Had some positive movement today.
Let it go. You got it fundamentally wrong. Doesn’t mean the stink isn’t rubbing off, but SPCE did not file for bankruptcy. VORB did.
SPCE has a lot of issues right now. First, their stock is shorted to about 25%. That’s big meaning many are betting against them. Second, they’re related to VORB through Richard Branson. VORB filed for bankruptcy within the past week. Between that, no SPCE flights actually scheduled, and the $500M debt Branson put SPCE in last year after a flawed test flight adds up to a huge overall lack of confidence in SPCE and, I contend, Branson himself.
VORB is taking off, I just got in at .18 before close
My thought is that $SPCE will follow its brother $VORB into the void and cold outer space, beyond the [Oort cloud](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oort_cloud). First, there are not that many potential clients for its services. It costs quite much to just stay afloat in low gravity for just a few minutes. People are willing to pay much more but at least get to spend a few days on the ISS. Second, it has competition from Blue Origin - and BO is significantly ahead. If Space X also considers enetering this market segment, it is game over for the others. To conclude, the market is small and quite crowded already. Finally, Branson is 73 years old. This company is his whim. If anything health-related happens to him, everything will come to an abrupt end. At 73, people should no longer make long term plans (sadly).
The main difference between SPCE and VORB is SPCE got in on the SPAC train early, when a lot of money was still being thrown around. VORB got in late and thus had a lot less cash to burn.
Someone here had to he balls deep in VORB. Show yourselves

VORB now. Bankruptcy. Just opened AH
I guess if Schwab goes down, there is a much bigger issue. I am interested for about a 10K position. Also bought some VORB for some bankruptcy play.
Virgin Orbit is not the same as Virgin Galactic clown. SPCE is Virgin Galactic and VORB is Virgin Orbit. No you cannot read.

Business combination closed June 29, 2022, so that one was a bit around 9 months. As u/ItalianRicePie commented, ENJY was 8 months and FSRD also 9 months. VORB around 14 months.
VORB not SPCE. They are different
True, and yet VORB going public looks like a joke.
Exactly. I thought with all the Branson's financial background VORB and SPCE are pretty safe enterprises. I understand market is shitty now, but I would expect for seasoned businessman to have some hedges or sth. Oh well, not the first time I was wrong in my assumptions. My sympathies for those affected with VORB bankruptcy.
I'm pretty sure there was already at least one that went bankrupt faster. ... doesn't change the fact VORB going public, taking all the SPAC trust money (AFAIR it wasn't not even medium float) and vaporizing them looks definitely like an effin joke, a scam even.
VORB files for bankruptcy to the surprise of no one.
VORB get in on bottom .20 before the launch!
i fucking hate money so i am buying VORB and BBBY
I know all about VORB. Some of the old employees will start working at SPCE now. It’s not squeeze material because of the market cap but I’m a proud bag holder.
If a on life support, brain dead company like VORB can maintain a MK of 65ish million... Then WTF... Why not right? Could be that GNS becomes the parent company...but Jeffries ends up becoming a major shareholder and Board Member. In exchange they provide a significant amount of the funding shortfall.
VORB pop next week. LFG!
Here's what I learned from day trading: I didn't need to trade many stocks everyday. I traded a total of 10 stocks in the entire week (9 profitable, 1 loss). The one loss should've been a win, but I had a stop loss too close. I missed out on a lot of profit I should've made (PALI, VKTX, EBS). The reason I justify the lost potential is the stocks I managed to get out of for small profits (HUBC, PXMD, CDAK, and VORB) . Gains compile and grow, losses do too. I'm new to this trading style, so I will learn to expand profits, but so far my losing strategy is also in its infancy. I've managed to get great luck on all my stocks, but that won't continue. Congrats on the trade!
Virgin galactic (stock symbol SPCE) is a different company than Virgin Orbit (VORB)
I sold out yesterday for a small day trade profit. I’ll let you know when I sell, then you can follow suit. Nearly every stock I day traded has absolutely fell. Ex VORB, HUBC, PXMD, CDAK

That's okay, I bought some VORB day before yesterday...
I think VORB is the one that is ceasing operations, not SPCE.
RKLB still strong. VORB out. Next!!!
Anyone still follow TMC. I thought it was a joke like VORB but it still has 200m market and cap. The CEO is sketch as AF. But unbelievably they actually might start mining rare earths from ocean floor. Once they get final approval. WTF!
VORB price predictions for tomo morning?
VORB…thoughts? Can it get back to 0.50?
Honestly, it's incredible the markets looks fine and dandy. However, a whole heap of companies in my watchlist are now penny stocks or filing for bankruptcy. Dozens of stocks are about to disappear this year. EV stocks are dead and so far are space stocks lmao. RIP VORB. Fantastic work Sir Branson.
"The company hired bankruptcy firms to draw up contingency plans in the event it is unable to find a buyer or investor. **Branson has first priority over Virgin Orbit’s assets, as the company raised $60 million in debt from the investment arm of Virgin Group**. On the same day that Hart told employees that Virgin Orbit was pausing operations, its board of directors approved a “golden parachute” severance plan for top executives, in case they are terminated “following a change in control” of the company." Sounds like Branson can get VORB assets out of bankruptcy for pennies on the dollar, while the executives get their golden parachute. Shareholders get ....
Put all my money on VORB…no day trades left. Pray for me
VORB..omg. Just bought some..hope it bounces back
VORB... was that greasy sewer rat Chamath involved in this too?
From CNBC and Barrons "Hart previously planned to update employees on the company’s operational status at an all-hands meeting at 4:30 p.m. ET on Monday afternoon, according to an email sent to employees Sunday night. At the last minute, that meeting was rescheduled “for no later than Thursday,” Hart said in the employee memo Monday “Our investment discussions have been very dynamic over the past few days, they are ongoing, and not yet at a stage where we can provide a fulsome update,” Hart wrote in the email to employees, which was viewed by CNBC." "Virgin Orbit (VORB) dropped 28% to about 38 cents after Dan Hart, CEO of the space launch start-up, told employees via email the company would be extending unpaid furlough for the majority of its workforce as talks for more funding continue, Reuters reported. Virgin Orbit initiated a “companywide operating pause” on March 16 to preserve cash while looking for funding sources and strategic partners."
VORB - went to 0.90+ PM Monday on rumor of a 200 mill cash injection deal. The deal fell through and it drop to all time low of 0.37 yesterday. Mgmt is in talks with other potential investors. I just bought some for the lols in case a deal goes through. I lose less than 1K if no deal. So far 0.39 is holding up today
I love watching shitcos die. Lookin at you VORB
Very unpredictable today. Puts on VORB went well for me.
What’s happening with VORB?? Did it get funding? Climbing quick right now
Bro, I mentioned VORB on Friday, and it ranked like a Mofo Today.
What ever happened with VORB? Seems to have died.
VORB still making a run to 1+ pm

I actually do like VORB..But DBD is the next 100% runner in next few weeks..
VORB dude!!! LFG buyout due monday
$VORB It’s looking like it will pop soon.
Had a 60% gain today with $VORB Yalls slept on some gains. I brought it up yesterday
I'm playing it as safely as I can at this point, hiding out in healthcare and consumer staples. Seems to be doing well for me so far. That, along with my bet on VORB this morning that looks to be paying off!
Rocket Lab is the only space stock I consider an investment. I also own Boeing who will be a big player in the industry. I have small positions in ASTS, ASTR, VORB, LUNR and SPCE. I traded SPCE actively years ago so all of the remaining shares I have are at no cost. These positions are all just bets with the idea that should these survive to see the space boom they’ll catch the tailwind of FOMO. My cost is low enough any spike will show a profit and should all of these go to zero I won’t lose any sleep over it. I can’t say that I recommend any of these stocks as an investment. These are pure gamble plays for me so do your DD if you plan to put any serious money in these.
Surprised no one is talking about VORB. It’s dead in the water but 60% is 60%
How likely is VORB gonna do a reverse split? With chatter regarding funding coming available I don’t want to risk a play getting ruined with a reverse split.
Hey all! Very retail heavy today. That's good and bad. Good because yay fun, collectivism, but bad because it means that you're profit is going to rely on other people buying in. There are ways to play these stocks and I can't be explicit about it due to liability issues but you're going to want to be careful of open with people taking profits. Try to time a bounce, should it occur. The bank stocks (FRC and PACW) I don't love. I've been saying that for days but I expect each day to be their last. Don't get caught bag holding bank stocks. VORB has some weird movement and it could do something but I don't believe it'll do a whole lot. Might make a couple %. TENX suddenly got very interesting. Small market cap, volatile. Sometimes these work sometimes they don't.
