DCT (diminishing cycle theory) It will peak mid 2025 and have a pullback smaller than previous cycles due to the enormous demand from ETFs and nation states. Consider it a dip in the "Supercycle". I'm staying in because I will never time things properly due to how positive i am about bitcoin.
Or a shitcoin, lol, tomorrow someone will creat DeathCross Token DCT, the next 1000X
Reducing karma gain from DCT
My money is on DCT. It's down 99.5% and is due for a turnaround.
I am bullish on BTC. I actually hope and think that the price will drop into the $20's within the next month or so, and when it does, I will put a lot of money into it. You may say, DCT, or buy now and in years it won't matter, but it will. I have X amount of dollars to invest, if I do it today, I could buy .75 BTC, if it drops, then I could buy a full BTC. When it goes to $1 million, the difference between the two is $250K. Of course, the risk is that it will never go back to the $20's and I will end up buying higher. There are risks both ways, but I am thinking long term, and want to invest the majority of my funds at a price that I think will be better.
It is DCT, not SMG. I had to point that out as SMG is horrible.
Ah you’ve done your homework. My last piece of advice is to get the DCT tuned, best $200 you’ll spend.
Yeah it’s actually funny how the new M3s kind of copied the Alfa front end. Mechanical issues are ehh nobody really knows, lots of it has to do with maintenance and then it’s just a toss up. The F10 was known to burn oil like most Germans but mine has no issue with that, could be the maintenance could just be luck. E60 v10 was a beast but that thing is so unreliable and pretty damn sluggish because it only had like 390 torque. Owned 2 E60s with the SMG trans and both went to shit, the F10 has a DCT and shifts like butter... that is until you try to drive it in M mode at slow speed. Gotta drive in comfort around town LOL. Fuel efficiency is a joke in the F10, normal driving without beating the car it’ll get 15MPG. I didn’t buy the car for fuel efficiency but the averages are lies after all it’s a V8. All in all the car hasn’t had any mechanical issues it’s 15.7k on the dot with oil and filter change every 2-3k miles.
There's something about the lightning-quick shifts that also adds to the fun and makes a stick shift seem like a fiddly old fashioned way to change gears, though. That and the rev matching on downshifts feels and sounds glorious and would be hard to match manually. On a Mustang or classic muscle car I'd still go manual, but a DCT on a car like this is actually a better match.
6MT = more engaging. DCT = faster. Choose your priority :-)
2nd owner (bought in '12 @ 10k mi), waiting to do oil analysis closer to 40k to determine if rod bearing is a potential issue before dropping the cash. DCT, which I feel is better on these cars than a manual, but I know purists are still addicted to the stick.
Sounds like a good deal. Manual or DCT?
0.3 BTC? Does your M3 have the DCT or the manual?
How has nobody asked what bike you bought? I have a 2014 Honda VFR1200F DCT, motorbikes are awesome :)
But Dodge Chevy Tesla is better! DCT!!
