If I had to guess Binance wants to shore up their liquid balance sheet after being part of the Twitter buyout. That being said... people put way too much weight on the CEO's tweet. Executives will say pretty much anything they feel they need to to stave off rumors, regardless of their validity. Kinda offtopic but did anyone else notice this DUO9 guy is "seasoned technical analyst" who's been in crypto since 2014 and he still "needs" to run a patreon :D Selling some kind of bullshit course probably.

I work in infosec, this is great advice. My recommendation is to switch from google auth to DUO. And enable backup.

so I'm thinking to start with Ruby card to stake £300 worth of CRO for 180days. I have few questions to asks if you hear me out. Firstly, I don't know if some of you may have tried it and I want to know if the Spotify monthly reimbursement works with DUO Premium (I mean it is totally fine if they can only reimburse the amount of £9.99)? Secondly, do I have to top up £300 per monthly? or up to myself how much I can afford to top up? Lastly, can I get rewards in any transactions I made either online or instore? Thank you.

Not sure about Google, but both DUO and LastPass authenticators provide this feature.

OR just dont use your mobile phone number as 2FA. authy, google authenticator, DUO etc are all better alternatives
How many mines do you want? 1 for nuclear or 6 different mines in different areas? Maybe you should check out what DUO (depleted uranium oxide) is for a solar panels cells. Ill take the 1 mine for something that will last for a few years and is reliable. Besides there thorium currently being tested which would eliminate uranium.

I’ve not got any experience with DUO but this snippet suggests you may be stuck. Duo cannot recover access to those accounts without a backup. If you become locked out of those services and don't have a backup of your accounts in Duo Mobile, you'll need to contact the support team for that application or perform the account recovery process for each of those third-party applications So I think you will have to wait for support from each place to try and prove you are the owner of the account without the 2factor. I assume you didn’t have it installed on another device and forgot about it ?
Yes the app...I reinstalled DUO but the app doesn't recover any accounts
I used DUO and it seems like the backup may have been disabled so installing on my new phone does not recognize any accounts to recover
Coinbase also works with the DUO authenticator app, which can also work in place of or in addition to 2FA. If you download the app, coinbase will give you a QR code and you can use DUO to sync it.

I think you're confusing the DUO app for Google Authenticator.
Not 100% sure, but I recently created a new DUO account linked to my personal email address. The one I was using before was linked to an old college email address, which I haven’t had access to in a long time. I went into each of my crypto accounts and cleared the old 2FA, and then linked the new account I created. Wasn’t that difficult, but I made sure I deleted and added the new one quickly.
**2FA is safe** and there are multiple 2FA apps (DUO, Google, ToTP) **SMS 2FA is not safe due to sim swapping.** As long as you are using a 2FA app and not SMS 2FA, you should be good.

I use DUO and they have a backup in your Google Drive in case of swapping/losing phone.
