IIC: Industrial Metaverse is one of the most promising machine economy use cases

tldr; Siemens and IoTeX and Siemens have co-authored an Industrial IoT Consortium (IIC) article introducing the machine economy, a new IoT digital transformation frontier that will contribute to 70% of the global Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the next seven years. Machine economy is a network of smart, connected, and economically independent devices and machines acting as autonomous market participants, executing economic transactions and other activities. *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. Vet above 15c is just about as shocking as all of the ATHs combined. I held Vet for as long as I could stand the 9-14c range. I loved the idea but it seems like it was stuck in a rut. Then I came across this outstanding gem of a paragraph and threw all of my Vet $ at it: “The Industry IoT Consortium (IIC) has launched its Valuable Asset Tracking initiative to solve this problem, and it is being led by **IoTeX**. This marks the first blockchain enterprise pilot program with real-world implementation. IoTeX and the IIC are working together to reshape the healthcare industry with supply chain transparency, improved efficiency, and verifiability for all.”

Look into IOTX, competitor to IOTA In the IOT space, IOTX has a working network with devices on it already. IOTX is also co-chair with Amazon and Huawei of the Blockchain Task Group in the IIC. IOTX seems to have the most potential since it's pretty undervalued by market cap right now compared to peers (including IOTA). It's respected by big companies. Also, consider all of the new development and partnerships, defi, mobi, nft, gaming. IOTX ecosystem is growing fast. IOTA is still concept, hasn't figured out how to make its distributed solution/tangle a reality yet. Also, everyone says if there's fees, IOT Blockchain won't work. They don't understand the fees for IOTX are a 1 time fee to connect a device. It's not a recurring fee for data processing. Comparing to IOTA, why would IOTA coins be worth anything? Because you will likely have to use the coin to use the IOTA product even though IOTA says there's no fees

IOTX has an established network with devices you can use already running. It's extremely undervalued compared to IOTA and even IOST. Folks misunderstand the super cheap upfront fee to connect a device (not to continue sending data). They are also co-chairs with Amazon and Huawei of the Blockchain Task Group in the IIC (Industrial Internet Assortium)

Either that's the real John G. Keogh or someone pretending to be him! 😅 Look for the text under the InCube IIC I wrote, anchor tenant being Honeywell.

2nd Comment: It is also easy (dumb) to describe a foundation as a scam that is based in the EU and Germany, has over 180 employees and works and researches with universities such as RWTH, Frauenhofer, Imperial College London or the TU Vienna. In addition, IOTA is directly and actively funded by the European Commission and the German government and is involved in several projects (mostly as the only DLT). IOTA is currently being standardized by the leading standardization organizations such as Object Management Group, Eclass, MOBI, INATBA, IIC, Chaise and many more. Companies such as Jaguar, Dell, Intel, Zebra Technologies, STM and many other large corporations are already working on products based on Tangle technology. IOTA itself also develops not only a DLT, but many other products such as DID, oracles, smart contracts, Stronghold, Streams. Some of them are already in the alpha and beta stage and have already been peer reviewed. To call all of this a scam is not only cheap, but also lying and shows very, very weak character traits.

tldr; The Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC) is developing a framework for the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) that will enable self-sufficient machines that can autonomously execute transactions within a market with little to no human intervention. IIC members have developed IISF, a common security framework and approach to assess cybersecurity in IIoT systems. It addresses the need for a common architecture framework to develop interoperable IIo *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. The IoTeX platform was built 100% from scratch (no forks!) to support large-scale, decentralized IoT use cases. IoTeX is more than just a blockchain -- it is a full-stack platform that combines blockchain, IoT-oriented middleware, and decentralized identity (DID) to enable **trusted data from trusted devices for use in trusted DApps.** The IoTeX platform was architected by an award-winning team of cryptographers and research scientists that currently lead the world's premier technology and standards consortiums, including the [IIC](https://medium.com/iotex/iotex-amazon-and-huawei-selected-as-co-chairs-of-the-iic-blockchain-task-group-9032b7b7443f#:~:text=IoTeX%20has%20been%20selected%20as,%2C%20and%20Mike%20McBride%2C%20Sr.), [IEEE](https://medium.com/iotex/iotex-publishes-ieee-reports-on-blockchain-iot-c6650c26f443), and [CCC](https://www.coindesk.com/facebook-iotex-and-r3-among-new-members-of-confidential-computing-consortium). In short, IoTeX has a vision to power unique IoT use cases on blockchain, and our platform is tailor-fit to do that. See here for more: [https://onboard.iotex.io/platform/platform-overview](https://onboard.iotex.io/platform/platform-overview) The reason why we say IoTeX is the leading blockchain + IoT platform is not just a biased opinion. These days, "proof of product" is incredible important, especially for projects that have been around for a while like IoTeX, who started in 2017 and built straight through the bear market. Only 3 years after we launched our first line of code, IoTeX is now one of the most unique and performant platforms in the world, powering an ever-growing ecosystem of smart devices, DApps, tokens, and more. Making blockchain + IoT a reality is hard. IoTeX is the first one to launch real world products like Ucam ([ucam.iotex.io](https://ucam.iotex.io)) and Pebble Tracker ([iotex.io/pebble](https://iotex.io/pebble)), which use blockchain for impactful things like privacy, security, verifiability, and of course decentralization. We respect all projects out there that are building real stuff, but IoTeX is definitely a leader in not only the blockchain + IoT space, but the overall blockchain space in this regard.
