Hey all, just a counterpoint - Obviously, LINK is a proven project, but when you're putting money in, the project is one aspect and the valuation is another. If you're buying too high, good project or not, you'll get burned. Alternative pitch, flying under the radar - PLI. Obviously do you own DD but here's my 3 line pitch: 1) similar function as LINK, but for the XDC chain rather than ETH chain (project has less attention than ETH, but they have a good track record and a decent market cap) 2) project has little to no notoriety, but they've been going strong and building for a couple of years. Team is doxxed. Etc... it's also only trading on smaller exchanges (eg Bitrue) 3) circulating market cap is a laughable 3-4 million usd (~20-30 fully diluted), and their 2.0 version is likely to come out in November. Again, dyor, but if you're gonna plop money down, valuation matters. Cheers

I'm betting on PLI (plugin), the oracle for XDC.

# Plutus Debit Card Plutus is a debit card which you pre-load with funds before making a purchase. You can preload with fiat or sell crypto on their own Dex to load on the card (note that the Dex is not currently available in the UK, planned roll out in Q3). Plutus has much more focus on decentralisation. Plutus don’t store any crypto other than your cashback for you, instead you can connect your personal wallet to enable use of the Dex. There is a native token, pluton (PLU) on the Ethereum blockchain. All rewards are paid in PLU and it can be staked in your personal wallet for improved cashback and perks. In addition to staking there are 3 subscription plans; Starter which is free, Everyday €4.99/month and Premium €14.99/month. The plans don’t effect your cashback rate but they do effect the amount of spending you can earn cashback on, also the number of perks and the Dex fees. Plan | Monthly fee | Monthly Limit | Perks | Dex fee Starter | Free | €250 | 1 | 1 Everyday | €4.99 | €2000 | 2 | 0 Premium | €14.99 | €22500 | 3 | 0 ##Pros 1. Cashback is paid in PLU and increases the more PLU you have staked. Even with no staking you get 3%, below shows how much you need to stake to increase this, for context 1PLU = $12.20 at the time of writing. PLU stake | Cashback 0 PLU | 3% 250 PLU | 4% 500 PLU | 5% 1000 PLU | 6% 2000 PLU | 8% 2. There are a range of different perks available which you’re free to choose from. This includes full cashback on the following subscriptions: Netflix, Spotify, Apple one, Disney+, Deliveroo. Or also £/€10 per month rebate for purchase at: ASOS, eBay, apple, Uber eats, just eat, Starbucks, Uber, shell, booking.com, Airbnb, Sainsburys, Aldi, Lidl or Tesco. (This list is suspiciously British, but I can’t find any different list for the rest of Europe). The number of perks you get depends on either you plan or your stake. Plan/Stake | No. of perks Starter | 1 Everyday | 2 Premium | 3 250 PLU | 4 500 PLI | 5 1000 PLU | 6 2000 PLU | 8 Note that if you have a PLU stake, the number of perks associated with that overrules those associated with your subscription, e.g. an everyday subscription with 250 PLU stake gives 4 perks. ##Cons 1. Your PLU rewards, from both cashback and perks, will be locked for 45 days. They are awarded as soon as the transaction is made, but you can’t access them until the lockup period is over. 2. There’s lots of fees associated with the card, while most can be avoided if you navigate it properly, you need to be aware of them. The full fee breakdown is [here](https://plutus.it/fees) and they have a handy article explaining the fees and how to avoid them [here](https://support.plutus.it/hc/en-us/articles/5006059048605-Plutus-Card-fees-and-limits). *Account fiat withdrawals *PLU Rewards withdrawals *Transactions in a foreign currency *Declined transactions *ATM withdrawals You can get round some of these using a curve card, but not all. The worst is that there’s a $15 fee to withdraw you PLU rewards. 3. PLU has a relatively low market cap compared to the likes of CRO and Nexo, it’s orders of magnitude smaller. This means it’s a lot more volatile and has seen swings of +\-50%. Combined with the 45 day reward lock up this can have a significant affect on your cashback.
