If I were you, I would use a 25th world passphrase to hold crypto. Set as TEMP with no PIN. Should be ok, because if no PIN is set, ledger software does not have enough memory to store passphases. I doubt they have a key logger in firmware.
The seed is 24 words which is attached to a PIN. I suggest put crypto in a 25th passphrase and set as TEMP. Us a long passphrase for long term holdings.
