I just bought this today on accident. Meant to buy UUUU and bought $UUU. Looks like a lucky mistake. I added even more after I did a quick scan of the recent news and Feit "acquisition". Insider just bought 205,000 shares. Float is only 1,685,000 or so now. Hopefully Feit can jump start this back up with their distro channels. This is funny.
Today might be a green day, but honestly it looks like it could be a pretty ugly quarter for tech (just the stock prices, their core businesses will still be doing great). Anyone want to discuss good "safe haven" stocks for this quarter? I have a position in UUUU. I think they are well positioned in the market right now.

It's been almost five years in the market and I've had about four lucky position that I've let slip through my fingers. I think the universe was trying desperately to make me a millionaire and I was too retarded to capitalize on it. Literally started trading at the end of 2021 and bought 100k dogecoin for under a cent apiece. Sold out at basically breakeven because of the GME hype and wanted to be in that and by the time I had looked back at doge Elon tweeted about it and it was already from under a cent to 10¢. Topped at like 77¢. Held a 70x+bagger but let it slip through the cracks. If I had held my ASTS I'd be up around 50k but I sold that for a small loss. Had a shit ton of JOBY at $4.5 and told at $8 should have held for $20. I had a shit ton of UUUU at 6.50 sold at 8.50 should have held. Had shit tons of DNN at $2 sold at $2.50 should have held. Should probably just cash out my portfolio go on a vacation and never invest again. Everytime I decide to hold for longer because I think of all the companies I didn't hold long enough they end up never recovering 😪

The bottleneck really is the processing though... The thesis depends on state intervention - the Chinese really can do it cheaper because they have lower costs, have been building out the infrastructure for ages. CM really needs western manufacturers to say "Oh well, lets buy this magnet or something for 3x as much as the Chinese sell it" which is going to be hard to stomach economically. I was in UUUU, ABAT, LAC, Lynas last year but as its developing I don't think it can be delivered on as a thesis - it'll take a decade at least.

My friend - this is extremely normal within any rare earth and energy bull market. There is legitimately zero structural news that alters the thesis whatsoever. If you puss out on a 15% drop, when we’re 42% up YTD on UUUU, then you shouldn’t be in this trade. Simple as that.

The assertion that uranium will continue vertically is not correct when alternatives exist and are already being built by major opponents. 2) No we’re not that’s fucking regarded. I was there when the lore was writ. We do not have even a fraction of the production capacity to produce the REEs our economy needs. UUUU is the only source of HREEs in the entire western fucking world and they’re only doing proofs if concept. We absolutely are not banning Chinese rare earths in October that is ridiculous. 3) see 1 4) see 1 Don’t make these into meme stocks, they’re not, they’re defensive stocks and will moon the closer we get to a trade war with China, but this isn’t a for sure thing, and tensions could just as easily ease and they’ll fly back to $10.
Yeah UUUU is insanely overvalued what do you want me to be freaking out or something? It’s a strategic hedge, literally a defense stock, it’s negative value which is why the government has to implement price floors. China can simply do nothing and win because they produce more rare earths more cheaply than anyone else can and they control 97% of the earth’s HREE production.
My largest position is UUUU as I feel that will be the mega winner. Outside I’m invested in MP, LYC and CCJ. There are tons in these sectors that will do well. USAR, Antimony, Denison, NexGen, UURAF. Lots more
