Industrial Picks-and-Shovels Compounders like Amprius, Ouster, Allegro Microsystems (also Nvidia, AMD, ABB etc.)
Why is Reddit ignoring Allegro MicroSystems ($ALGM)?
Seen an article talking about the electric boat space, anyone have some insights?

All in ALGM Monday. WSB needs a new meme stock, no other reason
ALGM did have double its avg vol on friday :hmmm:
Trust me full port for ALGM earnings
Full port to ALGM trust
ALGM earnings is the real play trust
I have some insider info on ALGM how do I trade it inauspiciously
Anyone has an idea of allegro (ALGM)
The picks and shovels framing is useful, but huge TAM stories are exactly where I would get stricter about unit economics, customer concentration, capital intensity and actual returns on reinvested capital. Battery companies are a good reminder that essential technology does not automatically create a great business. I use Moon for shorter term price ideas but for something like ALGM or AMPX the long term thesis has to survive without relying on the chart going up.
ALGM is interesting but trading at depressed revenue after losing a major auto customer. What's your read on their actual ROIC trajectory? The humanoid robot thesis is speculative until we see real volume orders flowing through. For picks-and-shovels compounders I'd look at companies like Monolithic Power Systems in power management - proven unit economics, high ROIC, and riding the same electrification/automation wave with less binary risk than Amprius. No position in any of these currently.
Hmm nice little jump on ALGM there
Good job, still kicking myself for missing this, I had some PENG and ALGM but didn't buy any of this, TradingEdge stock picks were really goat recently!
I sold a ton of ALGM yesterday, I feel you big dog 😭
At the end of the day, all bull and bear cases are based on future assumptions. You are also making loads of assumptions but that's how it should be cause the market is always forward looking. You may very well be right and I hope it turns out that way for your sake. I did enter into OUST believing just about the same things you mentioned but I need to sleep well at night too. The points I outlined are just some of the points on why I chose to exit and look for opportunities that would allow me to sleep well at night. I could be very wrong and that's okay. Just because I don't believe in a particular stock doesn't mean I have no say in a particular industry. Some of my biggest winners are within the chip industry like AEHR, ALGM and ACLS. You must be comfortable with the risks, and I'm just outlining them out.
(if that is what happens I’m buying July or August calls for ALGM and ARM when the price settles)
ALGM should have been on the list 🚀
Missed it in the shuffle but ON made an offer for ALGM, not sure exactly what ON sees there but interesting nonetheless Seems weird to buy a company trading at 3x yourself instead of say your own shares but I do think ON ceo has a good track record with M&A from Cyprus so maybe he is seeing into the future
nope. ALGM has been offered 35$ boyout and they refused ( 7b valuation), has similar revenues as wolfspeed , they trade 5x more, 1.5b assets vs 8b assets, though they have only 350m debt compared to 7b. same Revenue By my logic, when Wolfspeed announces CEO and has facility full operational, it has no reason this shouldnt trade at least 30$ from here ( 5b mkt cap )
MBLY - all the auto OEMs will announce their partners for autonomous driving over the next 3-12 months. Many will select MBLY. Volkswagen and BMW are the only ones who have announced and they selected MBLY and QCOM, respectively. MBLY should win a few more big customers which results in a huge revenue ramp in 2027. The stock will appreciate that a year from now. My Dec 2025 price target is $50 which is 25x C27 EPS of $2. AMD - should double this year if they can be a real 2nd source to NVDA. I think they can but they need to prove it. We shall see. It’s a bet I am willing to take. MRVL - it already ran a lot but this story is a sure thing and is likely up another 50% in C25. I’ll take it. ALGM - boring analog semi company selling into autos and industrials. Good company, way too cheap. Demand should eventually return and ALGM moves from $20 to $40. RDDT - has had a massive move but I’d love to buy more on any pullback. This platform is undermonetized and usage is surging.
My four horseman are MBLY, RDDT, AMD, and MRVL. Bonus shoutout to ALGM. MBLY is likely to have a massive revenue ramp in 2026-2030 as hands-off/eyes-off driving systems let you watch Netflix while the car drives the highway. RDDT is the next Facebook. So many levers to pull to monetize this platform. Meanwhile user growth is exploding and they are monetizing their data. Very profitable business. RDDT’s market cap is $23b and META’s is $1500b, so 60x higher. AMD will be the #2 provider of data center GPUs behind NVDA. I’m not sure there will be a third player at all, so AMD will eventually get 15% of this $200b market. MRVL is designing all the custom chips for hyperscalers like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Facebook. That business is $500m today going to $10b in a few years. ALGM is analog semis in autos and industrial. They have lots of content in growth areas. Steady 15% revenue grower and the stock is on lows due to weak auto sales. Today is a good entry point.
ALGM & TSEM did comparison analysis company vs industry averages and both came up under valued in their respective industry. I got a list of over 100 stocks that are under valued but so far only seen these will rerun numbers after earnings. ALGM price target of 35 current price 20 No real research done here just going off previous analysis. TSEM price target of 55 current price 40 The company manufactures specialty analog integrated circuits for semiconductor companies such as: On Semiconductor, Intel,[6] Broadcom, Panasonic, Teledyne, Samsung, Skyworks Solutions, Semtech and Vishay Siliconix.
It already moved. ALGM looks better to me.
Fir futurecrefetence, vaguevtitles without a ticker and actual topical description come down. Your actual topic and title is: ALGM. Unspecified Overnight news
If you still have cash to spare, there's a lot of potential here. # Allegro MicroSystems, Inc. (NASDAQ:ALGM)
AMKR & ALGM on my Watch list too
ALGM took a beating after the last ER, but I like the look of their fundamentals.
Buying more ALGM against my better judgment
ALGM is taking off soon, don't believe me? Just ask all those swing trading congressman, they'll tell you the same thing.
So much meat on ALGM's bones I had to bite on some leaps.
Can some one help me understand why this Contingent Order didn't go through on TD? >If the ask of ALGM is less than or equal to 30.95 > >Sell X ALGM at stop limit $30.8 Currently at 39.68 and the shares didn't sell
I've been watching it awhile and have some of it because it is in the XSD etf. I haven't gotten any though because it is up +47% ytd while my SMH and SOXX semiconductor ETFs are up 53% and 49%. ALGM's pe is about 30, which is good but not great enough to choose getting some of it instead of SMH and SOXX. Also, ALGM has 10% short interest against it, so it will have a whole bunch of illogical volatility to it compared to the ETFs. It has good potential but besides the above, it went down after earnings this week so it's still just a "pay attention to" stock to me.

ALGM the only semiconductor stock im looking at thats up 3% premarket with earnings next week, 6bln market cap
RMBS - small semiconductor IP company on the cutting edge (at least for now) of the upcoming CXL memory revolution ALGM - small semiconductor company that specializes in chips for EVs and other applications where power consumption needs to be reduced SITM - small semiconductor (MEMs) company on the leading edge of replacing quartz timing with silicon ASYS - maker of semiconductor equipment for less sophisticated but critical chips like SiC that are vital for the EV trade ACLS - maker of diode implantation semiconductor equipment that's critical in the making of EV chips ONTO - maker of semiconductor equipment critical for inspection and metrology, a particularly lucrative portion of the semicap market AEHR - maker of testing equipment for SiC chips UCTT - maker of critical subcomponents of semiconductor equipment, now below pre-pandemic highs. Not a high-quality name but a critical component of the semiconductor ecosystem I don't hold any of these as bags except for SITM which I bought at 52 week lows but it continued to dip 30% since, I don't feel bad about owning it. UCTT is another bag but, again, I know it will bounce back. I might need to wait a cycle but it will recover.
ASYS supplies equipment for SiC makers which I like and ALGM makes SiC chips. Both small caps with room for growth, IMO, though I understand your enthusiasm for AEHR, in particular. I'm hoping it comes down, personally.
speaking of a similar space, not in test but SiC, I've recently opened positions in ASYS and ALGM when they were lower, thankfully. I also view the space positively - any thoughts on these.
I've been adding to some semi names during this downturn. I won't mention my bags, because I have a few, but the ones I picked up at or near their lows this year: ASML, MCHP, MRVL, QCOM, ALGM, RMBS, MU and just a lil AMD and NVDA but I'm not as excited for latter.
Not sure how boring and small they are, but I like ZUO and ALGM
Been having great luck with $NVDA, $ACLS, $AEHR, $ALGM, $CDNS, $UMC, more. Got too picky and impatient for ETFs lol.
I don't look at any 10k or financials that are wrote by insiders inside the company. I did that years ago wasting countless hours reading deep into the night. I look at the technicals and ALGM is in a uptrend and a rebound off a pullback. [ALGM Chart.](http://charts.stockfetcher.com/sfchart/Bwuy31oTnB.png)
Play the semi conductor supercycle and buy $CREE, maybe some $ALGM... Play the carbon tax credit game amd buy $KRBN Play the Alzheimers breakthrough biotechs and buy $CYCN
Here's a full [list of semiconductor fabrication plants](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_semiconductor_fabrication_plants#Open_plants). Chip companies not on that list are ["fabless"](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fabless_manufacturing). It means they don't have their own fabrication facilities and are dependent on companies like TSMC, Samsung and GlobalFoundries. Several companies people have mentioned in this thread are fabless and in no way help solve the shortage. If anything, they contribute to it by competing for fabrication services and are all suffering from it. E.g. HIMX, ALGM, LSCC.

ALGM Microsystems- I’m adding on self driving. New ipo , sales and profits. Owned by Sanden Corp
Adding ALGM Microsystems!
Also ALGM Microsystems! Low float, profitable, Japanese company with US production, new IPO.
ALGM is not a penny stock. But it has a low volume and is fairly new. They seem like a good long hold tbh I've been swinging them a little since around 26. Do some DD into them maybe you'll like what you find.
