They're still not over their BBC syndrome from Obama
the guidance was adopting additional safeguards such as encrypting the data. the US law requires companies to give data access even if they have to decrypt it. so if the US law forces them to be able to decrypt, it is no longer in compliance with the EU law. the other guidance was anonymizing the data. this is not feasible as targeted ads are the core business model of the company. its the same catch 22 as before. the only way that META was able to fix this issue is when the EU and US made a new data privacy framework in 2023. 3 years AFTER the original law change. the countries had to make new legislation to fix the issue. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EU%E2%80%93US_Data_Privacy_Framework "The European Parliament raised substantial doubts whether the new agreement reached by Ursula von der Leyen actually conforms with EU laws, as it still does not sufficiently protect EU citizens from US mass surveillance and fails to enforce basic human digital rights in the EU." so even the new agreement, that EU made, is not good enough according to EU. like what the fuck are yall doing? arguing with yourselves? what about my other points? why dont you watch BBC streaming instead of an american company? netflix is getting your data. [oh they got fined for that too lol](https://www.gdpreu.org/why-netflix-was-fined-for-failing-gdpr-transparency/)

BREAKING: Trump ate at a chinese restaurant in Brooklyn, Chinese stocks are Pumping and McDonalds lost 1-10% stock value - BBC News Al Jazeera
Once thing is for certain and you’re absolutely correct about, it hasn’t even started for us peasants yet. Nobody knows what’s coming. And you try and talk to the sheep about it they’re in denial and dismiss you. Last night I was watching BBC and they were reporting 70% drop in auto sales from this time last year. SEVENTY FUCKING PERCENT
There was a hamster who crypto traded. It ran on a wheel to select a coin, then ran through tubes to sell or buy that. The hamster out performed humans. I should explain... Goxx was the name if the hamster. The owner set a machine vision system to it's cage. [BBC article about Goxx](https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-58707641) So if a Hamster can beat a human trader. What hope do you have?
Even if you don't directly do business with China, things still don't look good as many of the Chinese imports aren't finished products (ie a watch, TV, clothes). A lot of it is precursor products like a subassembly, nuts, bolts, gears, base chemicals... Any manufacturer that sources those types of things from China is screwed. Any customer of that manufacturer is screwed. Any employee in that chain is screwed. BBC did some analysis a few days ago and they figured that Chinese exports to the US account for about 5% of their GDP. They have heavily diversified after the first Trump term thinking that something like what we are seeing now may happen. As such, they could actually survive years of a trade war while the US can't.
What misinformation? Here´s an actual source, the BBC, saying this was started under Biden: [https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c5ygdv47vlzo](https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c5ygdv47vlzo) Would Biden have given them tariffs of 3521%? Most certainly not. But it is true that the particula rinvestigation that kicked this off was started by Biden.
> What is going on here > It's the Art of the Deal, Jerry You *wish* and *dream* it is only a single person, Donald Trump. Even when he is dead from health or travel problems, the problem isn't going away with his books and ideas. USA lost a information war to Russia that took place right here on Reddit. This is all Surkov style information warfare and Surkovian governing. This was all documented back in year 2014 in book and Adam Curitis BBC video presentation. You WISH it was domestic one man, it isn't, it's all of NATO and China with Russia. But nobody in USA can stop their fixation on White House antics and get serious about how Cambridge Analytica and the Kremlin created 5,000 alternate reality screen games to convince Americans not to confront Russia's methods themselves.
This is a pretty deep question and i’ve read some of these replies and given this some thought... you asked “What if Trump’s actions really do reflect what most Americans think?” I can only speak for myself, but as an old man, (it happens quicker than you think!) I would hope that this would be false... I find him reprehensible and I am a Republican!!! Cast my very first vote for Reagan and every Republican presidential nominee since then until this year. Yes, that means I voted for Trump not once, but twice. This is how I justified it... first time was I was not gonna vote for another Clinton and the second time was because I thought Warren and Sanders had too much influence and I had hoped that our allies could hang on for four more years. Trump gets a lot of credit with the economy during his tenure, I just think he didn’t screw up the economy that was handed to him. If someone was to take the time, they would see that the last year of Obama’s administration the stock market was already heading up and to the right and we had fully recovered from the financial crisis. I think the reason Trump was elected is because Americans are easily manipulated and lazy. You take my neighbor, he’s a good man, and probably in his 80s.... But he watches Fox from sun up to sundown and thinks Trump is the best thing to sliced bread. I lost a relationship with my brother over falling out with my sister-in-law regarding her posting half truths on Facebook... she get all spun up (chuckling) because I would post a link of the factual information... The problem is people just go off what they hear or see and don’t take the time to find out if it’s factually true or not.. it’s just repeat what they hear, cut and paste, or repost. I would get in conversation and I would always ask if they could give me a legitimate source... Chances are they couldn’t. I always used legitimate sources, such as AP, the Hill, Reuters, fact check, BBC and such. But people are lazy so they would just flip on Fox or Newsmax and take everything from them as the gospel. I also think social media is probably one of the worst things that happened to our society... Even Reddit! It gives every idiot a platform in which the spew whatever bullshit that comes to mind. I left Twitter/X pushing two years ago over what it had become. I barely go on Facebook, but that’s usually for marketplace or l’ll catch a notice from a friend. I happen to like Reddit because there are areas that interest me, woodworking would be one, and sometimes I can help out with a question or two. I’m also for free speech, but I would also like to see the person be held accountable for his/her speech. I don’t necessarily agree with people having the right to be able to spew any kind of misinformation or lies that get amplified in social media... But maybe that’s just me! I still don’t think people see the real trouble coming... The tariffs are just getting ready to start hitting and if people were bitching about egg prices (and they’re still high) just wait until the full brunt of these tariffs have hit. And if it wasn’t the tariffs, it would be the falling dollar...! So now we’re about to get a double whammy of inflation. Personally, the market doesn’t concern me too much although I’m concerned about many of those that are approaching retirement or just retired... our money (401k) is safe and sitting on the sidelines and those that are young can ride it out but many in their 60s and 70s... they’ve got to be incredibly concerned. And since we plan on living abroad, the 10% fall in the dollar has got me very concerned. So... How do I see it? If Trump and his lackey are trying to destroy this country... I think they’re well on their way! You can’t just impeach Trump cause you got another idiot in waiting! If it takes a military as crazy as that is, I think I’d be for that because I don’t think there’s anyone in his cabinet that will stand up to him. You’d have to take out the entire executive branch and most in Congress! It’s either that or he’s totally incompetent and after the way he handled Covid, I tend to believe he’s just totally incompetent! If that’s the case, I can only hope that someone will stand up to him and help guide us in the right direction. Oh, as much as I despise what the Republican Party has become, I had a plethora of disagreements with the Democrats as well... that said, yes, I voted for Harris... I would’ve voted for a potato before I would’ve voted for Trump! Not only that, I also voted for the Democratic Party line in the midterms... A first for both! What we need are good honest people to run for office and more importantly we need good honest choices for president! The ability to agree to disagree is a fabulous trait but what we have now in congress is a complete abomination! For me as a man, there is nothing more important than trust and as a country, it will take us years to repair the damage that has been done world wide in such a short period of time... Years! Apologies if this sounds like a rant... Just try to be honest as to my experiences. Wonder how this will fly... hmmm <chuckling>

"Vance in Delhi to meet Modi amid tariff tensions" -- BBC RIP Modi
They dint call it BBC for nothing, mate.
Because that BBC is too good, Helsinki syndrome
Not all mainstream media is the same, and it’s important to understand why. Trusted outlets like NPR, PBS, BBC, Reuters, and the Associated Press have professional standards, fact-checking teams, and issue corrections when they make mistakes. While every outlet has some bias and frames stories differently, reputable media organizations are still rooted in facts. Right-wing media, particularly networks like Fox News, Newsmax, and OAN, operate differently. They often blur the line between fact and opinion, knowingly spread falsehoods (as seen in the 2020 election coverage), and use fear and outrage to keep viewers emotionally hooked. This isn’t just about bias—it’s about creating an alternate reality that isolates people from truth, accountability, and democratic norms. Saying all media is the same is like saying all food is the same—there’s a big difference between a clean, reputable kitchen and something sketchy that might make you sick.
[Ukraine not invited to US-Russia peace talks, source tells BBC](https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cm292319gr2o)
Sorry, it was a quote from BBC , so I don’t have to type. The point is : Trump wants those cuts to continue.
The BBC is a really good source of news tbh
I’m balls deep in BBW, but I want to reduce risk and hedge with BBC, seeking professionals in my area
Can we not refer to them as tickers? They’re BIG BEAUTIFUL WOMEN with feelings. Sometimes they like BWC or BBC too.
I've seen it a number of places. BBC, CNN, ABC, only people who don't seem to be reporting it is Fox.
"Trump says there will '100%' be EU tariff deal as he meets Italy's Meloni" Stupid BBC with their phrasing I had to reread that headline a couple of times I thought he put a 100% tariff on EU
Oh ok. What about NBC, CBS, ABC, BBC, Reuters? Have you seen the news lately? They all have been reporting the truth, facts. The thing is… conservatives don’t like facts.
OK, just watching the BBC news in Britland. Our inflation is down because the weakness of the dollar is helping reduce energy costs. Difficult to know what happens with tariffs, but we might get some cheap Gyna stuff they need to unload. Thanks Trump!
BBC headline says a certain somebody added himself to the table for the meeting
He’s busy sitting in on trade negotiations with Japan (per BBC headline)
I have some bad news for you about MSNBC, NBC, CNN, NPR, PBS, NYT, BBC, ABC, CBS, etc…
They don’t. There a many BBC Chinese cars in the U.S., they just cost that same due to tariffs and no one wants them.
They've already been doing it for months. Both sides know concessions will need to be made, Trump team will already have a lot of things they are willing to give up likely things they were never going to produce on the first place. China is starting to feel the pinch, I read an article today on BBC about Chinese business with 400 employees are currently at a standstill, no one in the USA is currently buying from them anymore. I do think this hurts exporters more than importers. I can go without a mosquito net, or a Chinese desk chair for a few months, or just buy one from somewhere else / second hand. Those producers cannot wait though their employees need paying every month, they have houses, food and families to support
That sounds liie a good start. Altho in serbia last month 325k people protested ([BBC source](https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.com/news/articles/cx2g8v32q30o.amp). In a country of just 6.6 million people. Thats 5% of the country's total population. The equivalent of that in the US would be about 17 million. And i'd say whats happening in the US is significantly worse. And also a lot less reversible, because unlike in serbia (or hungary, georgia or even turkey) there isnt really anyone who could possibly pressure america from the outside, if it turns full on authoritarian (which is happening really rapidly). And the serbs (and georgians, turks, hungarians etc) have also been protesting for weeks. Not just one day every few weeks. So while i appreciate the 3 million americans protesting. It should be more than that on slow days and 20+ million on big protest days. For potentially months on end. Going on general strike, blocking every single highway in the country, bringing everything to total gridlock until trump has been deposed (and preferrably also vance and everyone else in the current administration and hopefully also arrested and their insider trading earnings seized). America sings about being the home of the brave before every sports game and has tolerated daily school shootings for decades with the excuse of needing the guns to defend against tyrannical government. Now the tyrannical government is here and the whole world is watching when americans will actually live up to their own expectations and stop it.
Consumers are still spending money like no other. And what do you know about tariffs? What happened the last time tariffs were implemented? I can’t remember but would love ur insight “trust it BBC”
A Chinese official told a BBC reporter that China doesn't care about trading with the US. It's such a small part of their economy, and they have plenty of other options. He said, paraphrasing, "China has been a nation for 5000 years, and most of that time there was no US. We'll be here another 5000 years."
And in the BBC interview, the Chinese representative gave that view short shrift. “We don’t care”.
Sure. Let’s break it down. Censorship? China bans Western news, social media, and censors domestic internet with the Great Firewall. Look up how fast posts disappear on WeChat or Weibo if they mention Tiananmen or criticize Xi. Religious repression? China bans Falun Gong, bulldozes churches, surveils mosques, and detains Tibetan monks. Just Google “China religious freedom report” and check any Human Rights Watch or US State Department summary. Sterilizing minorities? In 2020, leaked Chinese government documents and AP investigations revealed forced sterilizations and birth control measures targeting Uyghur women in Xinjiang. Tracking citizens? China’s surveillance state is the most advanced on earth. Facial recognition, mandatory apps, location tracking—all tied into their social credit system. There’s no anonymity. Every claim is well documented by independent watchdogs, leaked CCP files, and mainstream outlets like Reuters, BBC, and AP. If you haven’t seen it, you’re not looking.

He already undid the backdown via a social media post, of course. Tariffs are back on for tech goods. "Donald Trump says Chinese-made smartphones and other electronics will not be exempt from tariffs - adding they are simply moving into a different levy "bucket". [...] "However US officials said on Sunday that products would be subject to a "semiconductor tariff" instead, with Trump expected to reveal more details later. US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said the new levy would be in addition to a host of global tariffs the US imposed earlier this month, then paused for 90 days. "We need our medicines and we need semiconductors and our electronics to be built in America," he added. On Saturday, a US customs notice revealed smartphones, computers and some other electronic devices would be excluded from the 125% tariff on goods entering the country from China. But Trump chimed in on social media, saying there was no exemption for these products and called such reports about this notice false. Instead, he said that "they are just moving to a different Tariff 'bucket'". Trump added: "We are taking a look at Semiconductors and the WHOLE ELECTRONICS SUPPLY CHAIN in the upcoming National Security Tariff Investigations." He said he would provide an update on Monday about semiconductor duties." -[Source: [BBC](https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c62z54gwd22o)
The UK didn’t handle it super well... there was denial, austerity, multiple devaluations, and eventually a 1976 IMF bailout. Long-term, they lost economic dominance, geopolitical leverage, and had to pivot hard toward financial services. See some of that here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1976\_sterling\_crisis. (Although that's just part of the story.) It also resulted in the pound sterling devaluing hugely against the dollar. You could argue that modern Britain (fiscally constrained, politically divided, and deeply nostalgic about its global role) is still dealing with the repercussions. Although the Brits have done a good job pivoting to soft power (e.g. the BBC, diplomacy) after the fall of the British empire. They kind of messed up that trajectory again with Brexit.
I love seeing you fuckers lose it all <3 Sincerely - The BBC ( THE BEAR BULL CLAN )
Trump is just very bad at his job. After one of his announcements the BBC wrote, ‘we are still deciphering what Trump actually means by this and will update later’. Some poor person has to translate his ramblings into an executive order.
Already Happened BBC are reporting. Yet to be picked up by major US outlets
Oh dear BBC are reporting the Rugpull now
Can we stop injection politics in this sub. According to BBC yesterday: Biden not only embraced the tariffs he inherited from Trump's first term, but also added on them : \- EVs: 25% to 100% \- Solar cells, doubled the tariffs \- Lithium batteries : tripled tariffs \- Steel and Alum \- Medical equipment: from 0% to 50% \- Rare earths It's the presentation that is different. We're here to make many regardless of which side of the coin is ruling USA.
According to BBC yesterday: Biden not only embraced the tariffs he inherited from Trump's first term he also added on them. Here is what I remember: \- EVs to 100% \- Solar cells, doubled the tarrifs put by mango \- Lithiuim batteries : tripled tariffs \- Steel and Alum \- Medical equipment: from 0% to 50% \- Rare earths
I’m pretty sure Trump promised he’d bring down inflation for the US, not the rest of the world. [https://www.statista.com/statistics/273418/unadjusted-monthly-inflation-rate-in-the-us/](https://www.statista.com/statistics/273418/unadjusted-monthly-inflation-rate-in-the-us/) [https://tradingeconomics.com/united-states/inflation-cpi](https://tradingeconomics.com/united-states/inflation-cpi) The price increase is a result of the tariffs Trump put in place, and this bcc article kinda explains why they increased the price increase these other countries and not the USA [https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/ce82391x2kyo](https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/ce82391x2kyo) “The US is the biggest market for video game consoles, and rather than simply increase prices there, it's possible the likes of PlayStation could increase pricing globally in an effort to protect, as best they can, the US market," he told the BBC.” So if you’re an America this is awesome, if you’re European, thanks for subsidizing our video games, lol.
>Tiananmen square It happened almost 40 years ago when administration was managed by different people. It's not happening regularly. US genocided native indians and slaughtered many black people too. Ask about Tulsa race massacre. If you want to bring up the past. >Find out what the people know. I bet you won't. I'm not keyboard warrior like you. I travel often to both China and US on my business and see things with my eyes. Chinese have safer society because Chinese citizen are less violent compared to Americans. American government keeps own citizen in jail a lot more than China. See the evidence. [BBC news](http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/shared/spl/hi/uk/06/prisons/html/nn2page1.stm)

So here's what happened. Trump needs Xi to call him back and give him some minor victory that he can trot out as a "win" to get everyone off his back and show that the Tariffs are working spectacularly. Xi isn't having any of it. So Trump has his underling announce that they're going to exempt phones, microchips and computers -- the largest part of China's imports to us -- from the Tariffs. He waits patiently for Xi to get back to him and say, "I see that you are reasonable, let us discuss a deal." What Xi actually does is send his man onto BBC to say that Trump is a moron, that his tariffs are going fail and that China will still be an empire when America has gone back to the dust. Meanwhile, everyone on Earth takes Trump's exemptions as a sure sign that he knows he's fucked up and will most likely fold before we see a single thin Yuan. So Trump, like an incel who gets turned down for a date, goes into his "You're ugly anyway" ego defense and announces that not only are there no exemptions, he's going to tariff China even HARDER. Futures open at 6 p.m. Place your fucking bets, gentlemen.
Lol your belief of China's genocide is like MAGA believing Trump is the best president ever. Moronic and against reality. So if people on here repeatedly said China invented paper, are they China bots? Just because a bunch of people are telling a truth that YOU don't like, doesn't make them bots. The Uyghur thing became mainstream news a few years ago because the BBC hired a crazy named Adrian Zenz to find something outrageously bad about China. In his own tweet, which has since been deleted, he even said that he didn't find anything the first time, the BBC told him to look harder, and viola, he found GENOCIDE. This dude made up the genocide, then it was pushed by the BBC, then circulated by American media which either sourced each other and/or Adrian Zenz. Zenz also fabricated the forced sterilization bs, which has been debunked: https://thegrayzone.com/2021/02/18/us-media-reports-chinese-genocide-relied-on-fraudulent-far-right-researcher/ It's clear you just want to believe China did it even if it's a massive lie.
I smell a CIA bot a mile away. Typical that you resort to name calling. This is how a lie becomes mainstream. Get it now? Also use common sense if you have any. So many photos of Palestinians in Gaza dying, but not a single pic of Uyghurs in XJ dying.
It wasn't actually made up and pushed by the US from the start, it was the BBC that hired Adrian Zenz to fabricate it, the guy even admitted to it, just without saying he made it the fuck up, which he very obviously did.
Green Lantern has a lot of fun republicunts looking for BBC
Calls on yo girl on dis BBC
Sure, the BBC also went to Xinjiang and filmed a documentary. They couldn't find genocide so had to make do with claiming China suppressed them. Point is these media outlets go into a place with a narrative in mind and then find "evidence" for their story. How do you explain a genocide happening when the Uyghur population has been INCREASING? Did you not even read what I linked: https://thegrayzone.com/2021/02/18/us-media-reports-chinese-genocide-relied-on-fraudulent-far-right-researcher/
most likely delayed. i see it on BBC now
There was a brilliant piece of political commentary on the BBC in the U.K. that summed this up “ no one wins in this tit-for-tit tariff escalation. They just end up looking like tits.”
From the BBC: Vance made the comments on Thursday, during an interview on Fox News where he defended US President Donald Trump's tariffs - which are currently fuelling tensions between the world's two largest economies. "We borrow money from Chinese peasants to buy the things those Chinese peasants manufacture," the vice-president said.
Near enough. According to BBC, exports to the US only accounts for 2% of China's GDP ([source](https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cjew7y4j724o))
I've watched BBC, where China government rep says it's not going to be bullied, and the US can kick rocks
BBC said it was about 22min shorter than usual haha
BBC news has a live stream [https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/cn4jjw30d5qt#player](https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/cn4jjw30d5qt#player)
Is this a round about way of asking I have a BBC?
I believe the BBC reported exports to America accounted for just 2% of its GDP. I wouldn’t be backing down either if I was China. I’d actually look to make things more difficult for America.
Is that the right article? I don't see any mention of that. Oh wait, I see a related article on the BBC main page. Pasting the blurb and link here: "China says it 'will not respond' to additional US tariffs As we've just reported, China has announced it will raise tariffs on US goods to 125% from tomorrow. Beijing says it will not respond to any further tariffs imposed by the US. It says the "abnormally high tariffs" imposed by the US "seriously violates international and economic trade rules, basic economic laws and common sense and is completely unilateral bullying and coercion". https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/cn4jjw30d5qt?post=asset%3Ad76e1218-99e2-446e-a2b5-2f6ef0a94444#post
Yeah, but the only news outlets to report on it would be Aljezzera and maybe BBC and some independent outlets. American news wouldn’t touch it.
By world media... Do you mean English language only media? Even that is stretching it. I expect BBC and AlJazera would lead that market in terms of number of countries they reach
Tesler is so fucking done for "Chinese shoppers have been encouraged to buy local brands" -BBC
China raises tariffs on US goods to 125% published at 04:08 04:08 BREAKING China has announced a new 125% tariff on US imports. This is up from 84% announced on Wednesday. It’s the same as the current US tariff on Chinese goods. It’s in keeping of the pattern emerging in this trade war, where China has been matching the tariff increases set by the US. BBC is reporting now people
Big beautiful currency. They call it BBC.
Under my economy we had the biggest yields, big, beautiful black yields. BBY's, I called them - I came up with that, BBY's. Like babies, little babies. They said, Mr. Trump, BBY is so close to BBC, \*and you know what that means, I won't say it, but you know\*, and I said, what's so bad about that? There's nothing wrong with a BBC, and you know, there's nothing wrong with a BBY. Frankly the comparison I think is great.
It is but portfolio managers face unique situations all the time throughout their career and generally are prepared. Just read an article on BBC today saying that calls from clients were up 30% this month and the sentiment is the same; investing is a long term endeavor. Your retirement will be just fine.
You can make GPT say whatever you want. here's it's rebuttal. You're totally right to push back on that — the American is oversimplifying and missing some key regional nuance, especially in how "majority" is used in UK and NZ English (which is heavily influenced by UK usage). Let's unpack it clearly. 🔍 The core of the issue: In formal logic, mathematics, and strict legal or parliamentary language, "majority" means over 50% in both US and UK English. No dispute there. BUT — and it's a big but — in British and NZ political discourse and journalism, "majority" often refers to the margin of victory, not necessarily the total percentage of votes. This usage is not the same as the American usage of "majority". 📌 Real-world example from the UK/NZ: “The MP won with a majority of 3,200 votes.” That doesn't mean the MP got over 50% of the vote — it means they got 3,200 more votes than the second-placed candidate. The total vote share could be 40%, 35%, etc. No over-50% necessary. In American English, this would be considered a plurality, and calling it a "majority" would often be considered incorrect or misleading. 📰 This difference shows up in: Election reporting (BBC, The Guardian, RNZ, NZ Herald, etc.) Parliamentary results: “Labour holds the seat with a reduced majority” — again, talking margin. NZ usage: Media and officials frequently use "majority" to mean "winning margin," not "over 50%." ✅ Summary for your argument: Yes, "majority" can mean "over 50%" — but it also has an established second meaning in UK/NZ English: the amount by which one beats another (i.e. margin of victory). UK/NZ English is less strict than US English in reserving "majority" only for >50% contexts. The American is right in formal logic, but wrong to claim UK/NZ English defines it the same way in all contexts.
Unsecured penguin caused helicopter crash in South Africa — BBC Heard and McDonald Island taking military action near major trade routes in response to recent tariffs.
BBC reported the two events were close in time, but that's the best I've seen regarding what caused him to actually pause.
Where is this doing lines on BBC occurring at
Tom Lee out there somewhere watching his wife do lines off huge BBC after huge BBC and tbh, he deserves it. Guy’s had a helluva week. You go dude
Trump really is a complete tit. You can't trust a word that comes out of his mouth. This,' tariffs are here to stay', now they aren't. The BBC fact checked a load of stuff he said at a dinner a couple of nights ago, and it was all lies. He has done more damage to America's reputation in months than any other president
Don’t worry bears, I’m putting extra petroleum gel on the BBC dildo for yall tomorrow
BBC posted an article a few hours ago they raised their tariff rate to 84%
Because that is their current condition.. They took too many BBC's today.
#Still laughing at the overly aggressive 🐻s 🤣🤣 Historic BBC's ran in ya today!
2nd time today, BBC declared left-wing. I guess it's true - the truth has a liberal bias. 🤭
They already are. As he was holding his news conference (and what was with the sirens the whole time?) and talking about everyone wanting to do business with him - BBC was broadcasting analysts saying , yeah, no one wants to do business with him.
EU is given 10% per BBC. So, really the message is fuck China.
BBC is reporting it as cutting down the new tariffs on all countries except China to 10%: https://www.bbc.com/news/live/cp8vyy35g3mt
“Tariff level stands at 'universal 10%' for all but China, Leavitt says” - BBC
CNN, AP, BBC are all reporting it.
BBC reporting that Trump will pause the tariffs for 90 days.
Can't find anything on any reputable news site: BBC, Bloomberg, FT etc... even on live threads, another fake tweet or anonymous source? Are we Crypto now?
I was listening to BBC where Chinese netizens replied about this online by one comment with thousands of likes saying he looks like an expired egg. Made me laugh really hard lol
> Since you insist on claiming China is a pure democratic utopia... Very telling how you start off with a desperate lie. That's the only thing proud American patriots are capable off: Lying. >You're claiming China is “the most democratic and peaceful major country on Earth” while also insisting that “you get a bunch of factual information” inside the Great Firewall regarding June 1989. Correct. >Information About June 1989 Is Censored in China No, only disinformation (e.g. the lies you believe) are censored in China. >You can easily test this yourself: inside China, search engines like Baidu or platforms like Weibo and WeChat block or heavily restrict any references to Tiananmen Square, Tank Man, or June 4th 1989. Try searching “六四事件” (June 4 incident) on Baidu or Bilibili while inside China—you’ll get no meaningful results. I literally did this in a previous comment. You are worse than a chatbot. >That's not freedom of information; It is. There is freedom of information in China. Unlike in the US, where there is only freedom of disinformation while facts are getting censored. You seem to believe that every country on earth must be a fascist shithole like yours where disinformation can be spread, turning people into hateful bigots such as yourself. >that’s state censorship. Censoring disinformation is good, actually. >That's authoritarian police state nonsense. You haven't explained what's bad about what China does. Meanwhile, everything your country does is authoritarian police state nonsense. You know, the country you defend even though it's objectively worse than China. >The BBC tested this using Chinese search engines and confirmed results were either missing or sanitized. Even Wikipedia is blocked in China, and specific pages related to June 4 are inaccessible without a VPN. The BBC is colloquially known as the British Bullshitting Corporation and it's literally a British state-run disinformation outlet that has been caught lying about China more times than you can count. Of course Wikipedia is blocked in China - it's a platform promoting disinformation and systematically censoring facts. Just go to any article concerning China, they are literally run by the CIA and permaban anyone contradicting American narratives from editing them. LOL >Google is blocked in China entirely, so even trying to access "the other side" of the story is impossible for the average Chinese citizen. 1. That's a good thing. Google should be blocked everywhere. 2. The average Chinese citizen has a VPN and consumes far more Western propaganda than you ever consumed any information from China. Who is the censored one? LOL >So no, Chinese citizens don’t get "a bunch of factual information." Of course they do. >The CCP scrubs the internet of anything that challenges its narrative, including testimonies, photos, and Western media reports from 1989. Buddy, you can't even spell CPC. China censoring the lies of a bunch of US-funded terrorists doesn't mean Chinese citizens lack factual information. On the other hand, you exclusively consuming the lies of US-funded terrorists led to you believing bullshit about China. Why? Because you have no idea what you are talking about because your country systematically censors facts. Censoring disinformation (what China does): Good. Censoring facts (what your country does): Bad. Hope that helps. >Calling Tiananmen a “Failed Color Revolution” is unproven nonsense It's conclusively proven fact. Meanwhile, calling it anything else is unproven nonsense. There is only evidence that the 1989 rioters who deliberately provoked bloodshed were funded and directed by the US and British governments and they are currently living in the US. The protests are irrelevant to what we are discussing - they were handled democratically by the government and ended peacefully. It's clear that you have no idea what you are talking about and no knowledge about the events you are trying to abuse for propaganda purposes. Your lies are getting tiresome. You are too stupid to even follow conversations you yourself started. >China is a one-party state where: That's a good thing. >There are no free elections for national leadership. That's a good thing. China's highly democratic system is representative. There are democratic elections at the local level and politicians vote the best amongst each other for the next higher level of leadership. Meanwhile, in anti-democratic dictatorships like your country, elections are bought by the highest bidder and people have no say about anything. >Human rights lawyers and dissenters are surveilled, detained, or “disappeared.” No. They aren't. However, Western-linked fake "human rights lawyers and dissenters" are rightfully surveilled and detained and - if necessary - sentenced to death for treason. That's a good thing. >None of this fits any accepted definition of democracy. Feel free to compare this to global democracy indices such as those by Freedom House or The Economist Intelligence Unit wherein China scores among the lowest globally. LMFAO "Look at this Western propaganda rankings whose sole purpose is to make idiots like me think they live in a democracy." Holy fucking shit. >Tiananmen Square massacre is actively censored in China. There was no "massacre". Disinformation like that is rightfully censored, though... because it's conclusively debunked fake news without any evidence supporting it. >The Chinese government has never acknowledged the full scope of the crackdown. The Chinese government has fully acknowledged everything that happened. >Claims of "Western-backed color revolution" are unsubstantiated. The fact that it was a US-controlled colour revolution is conclusively proven. Just like the independence movement in Taiwan province is linked to the US government, terrorism and separatism in Xinjiang is linked to the US government, and the rioters in Hong Kong are linked to the US government. >China is not a democracy, no matter how often someone repeats it. China is the most democratic country on earth and if China isn't a democracy no country is. Certainly not fascist dictatorships like yours where people hate their own government. >Enjoy your Winnie-The-Pooh-sponsored state propaganda. Ironic, considering that you are literally just mindlessly reciting propaganda.
