BNED possible for a short squeeze?
I’ll just leave this here.. BNED let me know your thoughts.
Big gains over 2-3 years $GOGO $BLNK $BNED
It had a couple positive quarterly reports but nothing earth-shattering -- curious if anyone has any thoughts why Barnes & Noble (BNED) had such a damn good year?

$BNED is going to run today. The chart is set to explode with volume. Big insider buying 2 days ago. Low float. No shares available to borrow.
Correct this happened w my BNED shares
I'm liking BNED / JSDA for a shorter term hold. Jsda jones soda going into cannabis and alcohol beverages. Bned- no real reason just dropped like a rock and I'm thinking there's opportunity.
lol SIRI hasn’t done crap in 20 years, BNED is not worth holding.
and BNED has net asset, maxn is net liabilities…. no reason to short put on MAXN
and BNED has net asset, maxn is net liabilities…. no reason to short put on MAXN
A month ago BNED was the same price as MAXN and had the same premium for the 0.50 strike. I figured it was easy money. Then it dropped 90% and I ended up closing my positions for practically full loss.
Sorry I may have worded it wrong, I meant don't follow stock trends as in don't listen to the apes of Reddit yelling HODL and TO THE MOON they're bag holders trying to mitigate losses. Like GME, FFIE, HOLO, MBIO, BNED, etc. pump and dumps are always a bad investment if you miss the train and give in to FOMO. Following historical trends of a stock on the other hand, is actual chartable data, where you can attribute dips and spikes to either global events, or corporate announcements like milestones, new products, earnings, etc. a company with a $30B market cap probably isn't going to go bankrupt because their stock is down 10%, so you can actually look up what caused it and if it's a long term problem that might cause the stock to keep going down (like if Jensen Huang died tomorrow, NVIDIA would probably tank) or if it's a short term problem, like a missed deadline or lower than expected earnings, and likely to correct itself. Invest in the company, not the hype, is basically what I'm getting at, and hope this helped clear up and confusion :)
Add MBIO and BNED to that list lol so glad I set stop losses on those and got out before it got bad.
BNED/IMMR is my vote!!!!!
yeah got burned with GWAV and BNED this way too. Even though the math works out the exact same with the reverse split, its always the beginning of the end and the stocks nose dive from there
Thankfully Fidelity has SPAXX so i’ll earn the little APY but i’ll probably end up day trading something tomorrow Maybe AVGO if that still looks bullish. Or SMCI BNED just did a 100:1 reverse-split so I might start shorting that
I personally love BNED. I go there for all my books. They also sell trading cards and other cool boardgames. They are always packed with people at the two locations I frequent. I'm not familiar with their financials or anything though. Might want to look up their short interest/volume. Also market sentiment plays a key role in in sneezing!
BNED doesn't offer options do they? Either way, they just did a 1 for 100 reverse stock split, I'm guessing your option is just displaying the wrong price or something.
I can taste that smell of $BNED in my account - but I hold on to it. New management, lets see... I "did" BBBY as well... Vanished
Looking at $SISI today and wishing I had night in like I thought about 😭 But, noooo, "I'll just watch this one" I told myself. And now the unrealized gains are giving me a sour taste in my mouth that can only be replaced by how much I've lost in $BNED lol (a far worse taste)
So my options turned to BNED1 - I have no idea what to do with this lol
Anyone else buy premarket BNED and enjoying this price increase?
Warning..The bigger news is that Eric Singer is now the CEO for BNED and the Chairman of the board for Immersion Corp. Note that the board members of Immersion Corp. Own more then 51% of Immersion Corp. So Eric would guide BNED in the direction that the board members of Immersion Corp decide.. they basically just took over BNED.. and if you look up info on Immersion Corp and what they do...like wow.. they could actually bring the virtual world to the class room and more.. GME is just a retail store.. what could possibly happen here is exciting and yes BNED could become the new GME.. unless GME has positioned them self to be part of this...looks like they may have missed the boat...Immersion Corp has control and I believe if I read the filing..one of the stipulations is that BNED can not merge. So correct me if I'm wrong..but if that's the case then BNED will be their own entity for a long time and GME can not buy them..so with the Corporation and support and everything Immersion Corp has to offer...Wow.. BNED will end up taking a large part of the gaming revenue from GME and end up being even better then GME ever could be...I'm kinda excited tell you the truth... And rkitty has jumped on BNED before and for good reason...play the GME game all you want but BNED has way more upside. potentially being the new GME...look up Immersion Corp and what they do...

I posted BNED way before it went up 700%, AENT way before its 85% gain rn. And many others, you are just reading the popular comments...
I just checked BNED's price, congrats man if you stayed short, the price absolutely ran into the ground.
Buying the INTC dip would be interesting but I'm stocking up on BNED before college starts back up again.
I sold the 0.50 put for 0.30 a couple weeks ago when BNED was at 07.0, figured there’s practically no way I could lose. Well…. I’m losing.
BNED volatility is wild, cheap options are tempting!
Thoughts on buying BNED? Will it go lower than 0.13?
Bro. BNED just sold a metric shit ton of stocks at .05$ & LPA is a dookie company in Brazil that has no real company. Shilling two ass stocks with zero fundamentals
BNED to hit $1 or even 50-75 cents is the play of the day! Also check LPA stock both low risk high reward plays at the low right now!
$BNED F em and take their money before the dilution. It's under .20 now. I saw it ran, didn't get in. But plan to if it hits .15. At that point there's really not any downside.
What the fizuk is up with BNED??
BNED is the most interesting stock to watch. It should by all means go to 5 cents or even lower. It had massive squeezes already.
Just sold mine and bought GME and BNED
$BNED (Barns & Noble) new stores look amazing. Definitely undervalued https://youtube.com/shorts/4uYzFwNQD7k?si=H2iCDzd0QddePFAr
BNED bout to rock it.
I’m all for NVDA and signing titties, but can someone tell me what the f is with BNED? ![img](emote|t5_2th52|4267)![img](emote|t5_2th52|4267)![img](emote|t5_2th52|4267)![img](emote|t5_2th52|4275)
I dunno but it's killing me, hope it comes back up but the last three pennies that I've had positions in dropped and never came back. I've lost all my FFIE and BNED gains to AGBA and GWAV 😭
Anyone got a clue what’s up with BNED?![img](emote|t5_2th52|8883)![img](emote|t5_2th52|8883)![img](emote|t5_2th52|8883)![img](emote|t5_2th52|51295)![img](emote|t5_2th52|51295)![img](emote|t5_2th52|51295)
✓BNED for the win mdf*@kers
BNED, low float. Buy and hold.
BNED options for .50 has a great premium 30.00 I'm loading up
BNED with only 50M outstanding shares. Short interest has been significantly increased within the last few weeks. Has great fundamentals and momentums to the upside.
Yup, I loss all the money I made from BNED. Oh well, ya win some ya lose some.
I have no memory of putting in this BNED 6c 6/21 but if it’s hit I’m fookin rich
$SPWR $BNED $CRKN Legit plays no one is talking about. Esp w some catalysts this week.
Nice to see $BNED $SPWR Ppl aren't just going to pile into gme. Especially if they can afford a different meme that hasn't gone up 50-70% by open
So is $BNED with a catalyst but no one cares.
It might be a good play. I'd keep my eye on $BNED tomorrow
Interesting. I'm not trying to "pump" anything but keep an eye on $BNED this week. It's kind of a do or die type week. Activist stock. Highly shorted. If the vote doesn't go thru shorts are so screwed.
I sold Friday. I'm sure they'll be a run on it tomorrow. I'm hoping ppl take some interest in $BNED. Tons of short interest and there's a major way to screw the shorts if we get it to a $1
Watching BNED, BYND, and other meme stocks too!! LFGGGG

BNED reverse split?? green??
$BNED.... Yes it just dropped 40%. However, I watched them walk it down which triggered stop losses. ITS BEEN SHORTED TO SHIT! There's 0 shares available. It's on the Reg SHO list. And no I'm not bagholding. Next week they vote on the split. It gives shorts an out. DON'T LET THEM WIN
If you sort by new you can find some sometimes, I just add whatever’s posted here to a watch list and look into them further and decide for myself. If a stock has already gone up 500% usually I’m avoiding lol but if it’s only gone up like 30% there could definitely be more room to run. BNED was posted on here early. Also take into account market wide conditions. If everything’s down it might be harder to find a play and it’s ok to just sit out for the day
going good, can’t complain. shorted OCEA, PLCE, BNED, BTX,
4k more shares of BNED, am hoping to put together a position around 10k shares before it reaches 1$ (position is 5200 shares) if I can manage it, I think the original sell off was a fuckup (there is a SA article out there on it). Similarly SFM slowed a little finally so I might move on them, it has steadily moved up from 20$ a year ago and I don’t think it stops: that place is GREAT and they are expanding aggressively. I think SFM upward trend continues, but might be biased as I love that place and miss having one near me.
Dude i held outs for BNED for a week. I took a lost and got out. This menstok nothing to play wit. Especially with GME.😮💨
FFIE is was a 2000%+ successful play that already finished. Probably one the most successful short squeezes in history. BNED Is pump and dump with 18% short interest (small but decent). Lucy is pump and dump with .87% short interest. Gwav is pump and dump with .67% short interest. OPTT is pump and dump with 5.27% short interest. SMFL is the only play with 42%+ short interest and a 300k market cap like FFIE. Out of the group if you're looking at short squeezes (which is the purpose of a subreddit): SMFL > BNED > the rest. If you're looking to get dumped on by a Discord group look at the other tickers.

Great call! Thank you. Made some cool cash off BNED this week. You seem to be knowledgeable about this and I'm new here. What stocks are you/ do you think people should be looking into for this coming week?
It's owned by a hedge fund. How the hell did you even buy stock in it ? Don't tell me you bought BNED.
2 days ago I sold BNED on the dip and lost all my earrings. Back to square 1
This week, I made $200 on GWAV and $100 on BDRX. I also lost 90 on BNED. Also learned about HOLO, got 100 shares just sitting there in the off chance it does another double digit pop in the next few months.
Atleast you didn’t buy a put on BNED
There is no squeeze it’s done bdrx dropping under a 1$ next week 😂😂all yall clowns been saying it’s gone pop and go to the moon for i don’t know how long I remember first joining this chat but now it’s filled with idiots that get into random shit that spread false information I seen more people lose more money in bdrx than any other short interest stock this year giving out false data and info BNED PEGY ASTI is doing better than this and yall choosing a dead stock to short lol
In my opinion, Right now it might only be non-bag holding if you bought before May 14th, otherwise this stock will hurt in June if you bought after. Like me. But, the level dropped this far makes feel okay, I'm at a 50% loss from my Wednesday at this casino. However, "Upon closing of the Transactions, which is currently expected to occur in June 2024: -- BNED will receive gross proceeds of $95 million of new equity capital through a fully backstopped $45 million Rights Offering and a $50 million new equity investment (the "Private Investment") led by Immersion Corporation (NASDAQ: IMMR) ("Immersion"); the Transactions are expected to infuse approximately $75 million of net cash proceeds after transaction costs; -- The Company's existing second lien lenders will convert approximately $34 million of outstanding principal and any accrued and unpaid interest into BNED Common Stock; and -- The Company has received commitments to refinance its existing asset backed loan facility, pursuant to an agreement with its first lien holders, providing the Company with access to a $325 million facility (the "ABL Facility") maturing in 2028. The refinanced ABL Facility will meaningfully enhance BNED's financial flexibility and reduce its annual interest expense. Through the Rights Offering, BNED will issue 900,000,000 shares of its common stock, par value $0.01 per share (the "Common Stock") at a cash subscription price (the "Subscription Price") of $0.05 per share. In the Rights Offering, BNED will distribute to each holder of record of its Common Stock on May 14, 2024 (the "Record Date") one non-transferable subscription right (each, a "Subscription Right") for every share of Common Stock owned by such holder on the Record Date, and each Subscription Right will entitle the holder to purchase 17 shares of Common Stock. Each holder that fully exercises their Subscription Rights will be entitled to Over-Subscription Rights to subscribe for additional shares of Common Stock that remain unsubscribed as a result of any unexercised Subscription Rights, which allows such holder to subscribe for additional shares of Common Stock up to the number of shares purchased under such holder's basic Subscription Right at $0.05 per share." What's even a bit more sus to me is "If any Subscription Rights remain unexercised upon the expiration of the Rights Offering after accounting for all Over-Subscription Rights exercised, the standby purchasers led by Immersion, Outerbridge Capital Management, LLC and Selz Family 2011 Trust will collectively purchase, at the Subscription Price, up to $45 million in shares of Common Stock not subscribed for by the Company's stockholders." Free money for the wrong side? Even though it is still subject to a vote on 6/5. My move is I am going to try to turn 50% to a less ball crushing loss, but still take the loss.
Cause à lot of you jumping anywhere since GME LOST... AS BNED, GWAV, AND ans other...
Seriously guys, BNED is squeezing/squeezed and no one is talking about it
Anyone else following BNED??
That dip on BNED in pre-market is worrisome though. Is there any volume in it?
I thought that, quite new to this, however if i got into ffie whrn i saw it on here it had dropped to around $1 then ran again to over $2. Another one BNED saw it on here, looked at the info bought at 75cents ran to over $1 These are high risk, maybies, and lots will fail. Good luck
Ronn isn’t supported by every platform & I’d ride the GWAV wave while you can I am it will hit $1 maybe more just like BNED and then exit imo
The January 2025 BNED 1 strike call closed today with a bid/ask of 0.50/0.60. This is a significantly higher number than the premium of 0.05 you received to open. You said the contract isn't worth as much now, but it is in fact worth much more. If you were to buy to close it now, you would have lost money on it. This means you have an unrealized loss on the option by itself, not the option and the stock considered together. The fact that you would make money overall if you got assigned doesn't change that. You are down on your option position, which is what RH is showing you.
It was BNED, I bought at .63/share average months ago, .05 to open, $1 strike. 1/25 expiration, I have a few others at $1.5 and $3. (I got a bigger credit on those) The last time I did it they just expired otm. Selling at $1 when I bought at .63 doesn't seem bad.
Am I the only one that’s thinking BNED goes to $2 premarket?
BNED did the same thing yesterday and gained a lot today. My fingers are crossed. First day may be a sike out
As for BNED, the $85 million recapitalization from Greenhaven could quite possibly see this stock head higher this week end. Stock price held strong today...waiting for the jump by Friday.
Surprised there isn’t more talk about BNED. It’s up like 200% over the past two days. And for what reason?
