Yeah. But honestly I've done nothing but win with the real investments. I only lost a little money with the silly penny stocks I dipped my toes in with. I started in 2019. When I started I went with the advice "invest in what you believe in, things you know and understand, things you buy or use constantly in life" I work in IT so I went with AMD, WDC, AVGO, HPE, LOGI I owed money to SYF on 3 different credit cards (They had good 0% interest promotions) On a whim I looked to my wife and daughters. They were always buying and going on about ELF and CTRN Every single one of those have been good long time holds for me with the exception of CTRN. It went parabolic from $12 to $100ish I went ahead and bailed at 90$. Looking back at it...a lot of it was luck lol. AMD the big one. I've always been a AMD fanboy. I got on that in the $25-30$ range. Yeah i only had 15 shares but it has been a great ride with AMD. Everything kinda dumped out during the pandemic but I just kept buying on the advice "When there is blood in the streets" and that worked out well for me.

How can I give you a proper answer when you have zero financial knowledge and can't even present a proper short term bull thesis? A 25% short interest rate + 100% utilization is not a squeeze thesis. You can't squeeze anyone with a 25% short interest rate. You also use the utilization rate at 100%+ as an argument. That means nothing to me or financial experts. You retards only came up with the utilization rate as a statistic when the GME short interest dropped from 100%+ to 20%, and then you had to come up with some ridiculous justification to say that the squeeze was still alive. There are a shit ton of more stocks with higher short interest. BYND is at 40%. FUV is at 40%. CTRN is at 40%. NKLA is at 37%. UPST is at 35%. W is at 33%. CVNA is at 30%. BLNK is at 30%. All higher than GME. Why don't you try squeezing them instead of GME? You know why you can't? It's because GME is a cult stock and the only squeeze you're getting is a retail pump and dump. I have 3 potential plays. I own OTM calls in all of them. $BIG - 28.5M shares outstanding, 32M reported as being owned by institutions. Negative 3.5M 'adjusted float' and 7M short interest. $CTRN - 8.7M shares outstanding, 7.6M reported as being owned by institutions. 0.9M 'adjusted float' and 3.9M short interest. Both of the above based on the assumption that institutions are 'buy-and-hold' and the shares they own have basically been taken off the market. $RAD - 55.7M shares outstanding, 27M reported as being owned by institutions. 28.7M 'adjusted float' with 17M short interest. This is more of just a deeeeeep value play. When the equity layer is that small vs Enterprise Value and fundamentals the volatility should be insane.

CTRN has been on my barrel-bottom dip screener for a while now, but I just can't pull the trigger because I don't trust that TTM EPS spike. I mean, EPS popped 197% YoY, but revenue was only up 27% YoY. Also, I've never seen one of these stores, so I have no idea what the deal is. It just sounds like...Target. I kinda don't want to buy a Target competitor, because even though I think Target is presently overvalued, they're also killing it.

Some of them sure. Some just became oversold very quickly. My main holdings are FB, CTRN, C, Target, AMD, NVDA, NTDOY. Most of these are trading very cheap now outside of AMD/NVDA which are growth plays. CTRN is an off price retailer trading way cheaper than others in the industry. Went from 100 to under 50 the last couple months. So that and FB account for a lot of the drop.

I trade these often enough to have a pretty good idea of what they are. When I trade small caps, ($ELVT, $CACC, $CTRN, $BIG, $HOFT, $RGR, $BGFV) They have wide bid-asks. There is no volume on this chain, and the further away from the strike, the less volume there is. If you are trading an option that has zero extrinsic, these options are fine. However, if you trade a contract OTM, and it goes ITM, you better be willing and able to exercise every contract to to sell on the open market. Two weeks ago I ended up with in the money $PIXY puts that wouldn’t sell. I had to buy all the shares and execute all the puts.

I’ve been watching CTRN for a long time now end it looks like they’re taking all profits and continuing to up there fleet for now. Just bought a new boat and seem to be adding them quarterly. So I don’t know if it’s going to pop anytime soon but I think once they’ve established all their fleet it will go up
