OP's understanding that audited = safe is hilariously naive. A lot of practices done by those "audited" banks are extremely fragile but completely legal and allowed. Tether survived two cycles since its inception and that includes one market cap shrink for more than 22% and one shrink for 26% which is equivalent to 22 or 26 percent of deposits being withdrawn from a bank. If we look at TTM, 1. JP morgan has 507,909 cash/cash equivalent and total deposits 2,396,530. They woulda been cash insolvent. 2. Bank of america. 315,232 cash/cash equivalent, 1,910,491 total deposit, cash insolvent. 3. Citi bank. 225,898 cash/cash equivalent, 1,278,137 total deposit, cash insolvent. 4. Wells fargo. 311,917 cash/cash equivalent, 1,365,894 total deposit, cash insolvent. Given how fast the withdraws that happened to tether were, one was overnight back in 2018. One was just a bit over a month back in 2022. Had the same thing happened to the big 4, i'm pretty sure at least 2 woulda collapse like svb without government intervention.

You're only shouting loudly now because it's back to ATH, it's taken 4 years to get back there. Been 4 years of sheepish positive will, and it's only now rising because of a few hardcore influencers backing it, not through organic usage. What about people who bought the last time it was at 66k, and have had to wait 4 years for recovery? Unless you're using it as a long term investment with only one belief of TTM then it's still an incredibly volatile and risky way to store your wealth. That's why it's not more popular, because its an incredible gamble where one rug pull from MS theows everybody under the bus.

The actual business side of MSTR is pretty lackluster. They have just $500M in revenue with almost zero profit from business operations. They have terrible growth history (their peak revenue quarter was in **2013** and their peak TTM revenue was in **2014**). And while they did have a market cap over $1B prior to their endeavors in Bitcoin, almost *half* of that value was MSTR's cash pile. And that pile is now gone (used to buy BTC).
