Three value investing stock’s – what do you think?

r/ShortsqueezeSee Post

$ESEA this low float short squeeze has so little volume but SO much potential. With the upcoming catalysts of Earnings (projected to beat expectations) & the holiday shipping crisis, this Euro shipping company stock could pop another 20-30% easy with a little push. Not a YOLO play, but check it out

From a quantitative perspective, Euroseas Ltd. (ESEA) is an exceptional value stock right now. From a speculative perspective, chaos, turbulence, and uncertainty to the future of global maritime shipping makes this value stock a little less tempting.

As a worthless BBB associate, it really is making my day better, watching people lose tens of thousands of dollars on the company I work for. Any one of us could have told you that you're an idiot. Don't get me wrong, this isn't coming from anger. I have no ill will towards retail memers. Why be angry that people are wasting more money than I make in years, when I can just sit back on my day off and watch dumb people get hurt. It's like FailArmy, or that one video of the chubby malamute puppy falling off the curb. Buy ESEA instead. Shit is awesome.

I bought ESEA, a shipping company, last year. At one point I was up over 1000% but now it’s dropped to only being up 500%. I haven’t sold all of it but I haven’t been buying more either. Logistics companies will continue to be very profitable but so much of that is already priced in that there really isn’t a lot of room for more growth and as the supply chain problems are worked out I would expect it to fall more.

Dude to multiple long term and short term factors, the supply/demand balance has shifted dramatically in the container shipping industry and rates have skyrocketed to between 4-10x its average over the last ten years. Last year these companies went up multiple-fold because they are essentially printing money right now. The concern in the industry is that rates will plummet since they are historically very volatile; however, there are so many bottle necks that these rates are either leveling off or still rising to new ATHs during a time of year they traditionally regress. The market has recently seen these companies level off in SP over the last 3-6 months because of this; however, there are too many bottlenecks and no easy quick solution to fix the problem and it is likely these rates will continue to rise through 2022 before finally starting a very gradual decline to a new normal, which will likely remain elevated over historical rates for many years to come. Many of these companies are trading at a PE of between 1-4, and ZIM essentially has more cash on hand than they do market cap, which is why many have them pegged as the big winner. Bear case includes that historically the companies in this space suffer from poor management and questionable governance, so it’s worth doing your solid DD before picking any. I am personally long ZIM, DAC, and GSL, but other tickers worth looking at are NMM, ATCO, TRTN, ESEA and more.

I used to love Counter-Strike. But CSGO at least has become overtaken by hacks. A lot of people don't realize it, but if you google "KateBot" for instance, you can see a full hack with everything from aimbot to walls that hasn't been detected in over 5 years. It's free and has over a million views, no secret. If a free hack has been used daily for 5 years, basically the metagame is now hacking. Not sure what else to say. So I admit I downloaded it and gave it a try, and having walls made me realize just how many other people have walls. You can see them stalking and preaiming you pretty blatantly. That's just the game now. I guess I could play some server like ESEA or whatever, but I'm not that much of a tryhard, and I'm sure they have undetected hacks as well anyways. Same thing happened in SC2, the Qazzy external maphack was rampant and undetected for years. People always downplay hacking in games like its a joke, but if they did just a little bit of googling they would realize how simple and common it actually is.

Personally I think dry bulk shipping companies are going to bottom out sometime early October then explode. Right now iron ore prices are rock bottom because of Evergrande but ore prices will recover, Vale traditionally mines way more in the winter, and it’s supposed to be a cold winter in Asia so coal will be needed desperately. I’d buy up SBLK, GNK and toss a containership company in there as well. My recommendations would be ESEA or GSL. These are small companies in ridiculously volatile industries. 10% daily swings are normal. So good risk/reward if you aren’t actually using money.

r/stocksSee Comment

Shipping is strongest industry in the market. It’s rarely talked about in financial news, but it’s financially very strong and undervalued. It’s traded in low volume, but the growth rates are incredible. Check out DAC, SBLK, SB, DSX, GSL, ZIM, ESEA, EDRY, BDRY, GSK

If you want to take the approach of bubble up supply chain strategy, take it all the way to the end. I’ve noticed the same pattern of stock growth going from EV Manufacturer, to Battery producer, to Lithium miner, and semiconductor producer, etc. But take it a step further. The industry I’m alluding to, and bullish in, is global bulk shipping. This can be applied to any industry in terms of supply chain. If you need something from somewhere else, you need it shipped to you. This is the supply chain endpoint, upon which all industries rely. It’s is the #1 growth industry. Don’t trust me? Look at: DAC, ZIM, ESEA, SBLK, GSL, EDRY, SB, NMM, GNK, DSX

r/stocksSee Comment

So this post is barely English. Just to be clear EGLE SBLK and GOGL are dry bulk and STNG is a tanker company. These companies have nothing to do with congestion and are unaffected by covid. Dry bulk is booming due to macro political issues and tankers are in the dumpster and will be for years. Jesus, OP you are a testament to a broken clock being right twice a day. ESEA is a containership company but it has less upside then most containership companies as it's not actually a shipper. It's a ship lessor and 10 of its 12 ships are fixed till 2024. Everyone reading this needs to ignore the OP and go follow J Mintzmyer on Twitter/Seeking Alpha.

I’m in all of these. Check their growth, but I can also vouch for future earnings growth: $DAC, $GSL, $SBLK, $DSX, $SB, $ESEA, $ZIM, $NMM, $GNK. I have over 25% total investment on these. 👊🏼

Of Couse, I study software development and network engineering and played a lot of ESEA back in hs. Needless to say I understand the impact latency has on FPS or e-sport type games. But casual games should be fine. I do not think it will be an instant success, but since they already have an existing streaming service it will be something they can focus on continuing to grow rather than that being their main income source (like stadia). I think it wont be an overnight success, but there is a ton of room for it to grow and bring in more Netflix customers.

Yeah. I'm trying to figure out my investment strategies. If not looking at financial and earnings ratios, I feel like my strategy rests on hunches about what markets will be big in the future. At least using earnings and debt: assets ratios at least gives me a sense of what companies hold the potential power to adapt to and dominate future market conditions. I'm not confident enough to trade with a short term mindset. For instance, back in March/April is saw ESEA had a massive sell off. So I decided to buy the dip. The short term volatility was killing me, so I sold with a 2% gain. Looking back ay watch list, ESEA gained 130+% from the price I bought it. Should have held

They kinda jump around, focusing on which sector is strongest atm. Lately a lot of Healthcare, financial (specifically debt collections), shipping, and semiconductors. Some tickers are ARPO, CPSH, and ESEA

Been holding onto ATOS and SAVA since February 🚀Also sad I missed out on ESEA

r/stocksSee Comment

NMM is mostly dry bulk shipping. Not the same as container shipping. 55 total ships and only 10 are container ships. A dry bulk ship has big ol' holds that you dump loose dry stuff into...like coal, iron ore, corn, etc. Container ships (obviously) hold a bunch of containers. Totally different types of ship. For container shippers, you're looking at GSL, ZIM, DAC, CMRE, ESEA.

r/StockMarketSee Comment

DAC and ZIM are horrible options for puts right now. Both still have huge upside and huge assets. DAC for example has NAV of $90\share and share price of $55. The sum of its parts are far more valuable then the company itself. ZIM might see a P\E of 1-1.5 this year. The non big-3 container companies are run from Greece so there are plenty of crap companies that won't be able to capitalize on rates. What happens is most companies charter ships for a daily rate for periods from 3-36 months long. So a huge measure will be who can capitalize on this period of crazy prices and stretch it long. The weaker playersh? ATCO CMRE DSX GSL ESEA A better option might be to smash down dry bulk or lumber companies. Lumber futures started declining three days ago and dry bulk started last night.

Yup, I locked in some gains (sold 30% each of DAC, NMM and ESEA), now I’ll hold them for a while, I believe they’re just getting started

Steam, epic games, uplay, riot games, and blizzard for pc. All consoles have their own online markets. For e-sports, all blizzard games (overwatch and wow) have backed leagues by blizzard. Riot games have fully funded leagues for lol and I'm sure Valorant once it picks up steam. Csgo has valve majors, faceit league, ESEA league, blast tournaments, dreamhack tournaments and more I can't think of. Rainbow 6 siege again has backed tournaments and leagues.

Assets (ships) and their capacity (dwt) are a good proxy to value shipping companies. CTRM is currently valued at 68m per ship or $748 per dwt. Their competitors (PXS, ESEA, GRIN, EDRY) are valued at 3-6m per ship and <$200 per dwt. What makes CTRM so special that its valaution is 4x the peer group?

r/pennystocksSee Comment

Check out the earnings report from ESEA that came out. Somewhat of a noob here, but it looks like they blew out the quarter. 53M revenue against 40M estimated, an eps beat of .55, .03 estimated against .58 reported. Also giving a dividend yield and very optimistic about the near future, and looking at their competition with similar market caps they are much better off financially. Not sure if this is just all gravy, somebody put me in check if I’m totally out of line here, but this looks pretty damn good. Full disclosure, Yeah I own it, but it’s because I saw how they stacked up against their immediate competitors. Not really pumping because I’m holding until I have a reason not to, and I agree with the “flying under the radar” analysis, from everything I’ve read the demand is much higher than the supply in the industry and it seems like nobody talks about it.
