First Watch Restaurant stock flies higher on strong sales growth (NASDAQ:FWRG)

FWRG down 35% YTD. News of COO departure to be announced before open Monday.
How does a “buy a global ETF and chill” kinda guy view this? I don’t have much but what I do have I want to try and protect. Should I just keep buying £FWRG or change course when this happens?
I was looking to move from VWRP to the Invesco all world ETF. My first very time I searched for it by ticker (FWRG) and now I'm the proud owner of 30 shares of the First Watch restaurant group. I've held it to remind myself of my stupidity and to that I'm also down 8% on it.
What you invest in will depend on how much you are willing to risk. If you don't want to take much risk, just invest in All world. Like FWRG. If you are willing to take a bit of risk, do research into your own stocks. The one thing I will say is DO NOT listen to what others have to say. Some people in this sub reddit will lose majority of their money, whilst some are genuinely good (and some lucky) and will make alot. Only invest in things that you want to and feel comfortable to.
Get an all world tracker in your currency and just keep investing. VWCE if in EUR, if you’re GBP look at VWRP or FWRG.
The best part is that the USD is the base fund currency for most ETFs that people buy here. Even if the share price is traded in £ or € on exchanges, the actual fund itself is based on $. Broad global ETFs like VRWP, FWRG - $ based. Narrower niche ETFs like China tech or emerging global markets - $ based. There's europe and UK ETFs that are actually based on £ or € but then you'll be locked into just one region of the world still.
FWRG tracks exactly the same index as VWRP/VWCE so it also includes emerging markets stocks.
FWRG is the first to fall of many
Depends on your risk tolerance. FWRG will earn you profits in the long run and is good to have as a conservative investment. But at 19 you have another 50 years ahead of you before retirement so its worth having exposure to more risky investments. I would suggest other ETFs like emerging markets. The Indian stock market has grown hugely in recent years, I'm in IIND . Not advice, remember to always DYOR
You could also just keep your investments in the sp500 and put any new money just into FWRG
Reallocating because I'm nervous about the way the US is going, especially as a European. Should I just go all world as it already has a large exposure to the US? 50% - FWRG (All world stock index) 39% - VUSA (sp500) 8.75% - BA (BAE) 1.75 - RR (Rolls Royce) 0.5% - AMD
[FWRG](https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/FWRG/) shows here as a restaurant company. How is that a world index? Ah, here it is I found it - you don't say what country you're in, but probably not US it seems. I found a FT article pointing to something Yahoo finance (US) calls [FTWD.L](https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/FTWD.L/) This does seem to track decently with VTI for its very short life - the newness of this is the biggest concern for me. If you cannot invest in VTI where you are, this might be a good alternative. How does "world index" sound not diverse to you? Lack of volatility can be explained by the fact that it's only months old. Despite current Orwellian times, the US is still the strongest economy and makes up well more than half of the world economy anyway. This gives it a solid presence in your holding and the top seven are MAG7 as expected. It should do nicely. Great job starting early.
Kudos to starting at such a young age. Your strategy is amazing. For a 19 year old or a 40 year old, a fund like FWRG is awesome. It’s pretty similar to VT which is the version that most people reference here. The two are substantially similar though at 60%+ USA and 30%+ ex-USA. Looks basically like market cap weight. If you keep this up for 46 years until you retire, you’ll do very well. Don’t strive for volatility and risk. Strive for longevity, sustainability, and just make sure you don’t have a weak stomach because the market will crash multiple times between now and when you retire. Do not withdraw funds. Keep buying according to your plan - preferably on an automated rhythm out of every paycheck. Increase the amount you invest out of east paycheck as your salary increases.
FWRG I’m pretty sure tracks VT however I was originally going to invest in the S&P500 but I thought I’d sleep better at night long term with a more diversified global fund. I would also like to add a bit of volatility/ more growth potential and wasn’t sure whether the Nasdaq 100 would achieve this.
"Volatility" is not what you should be striving for in your investment portfolio. FWRG is probably fine, but I'd say there are better ones out there, the S&P being one of them, or something like VT.
We're so back. Dollar cost averaged all my FWRG in these dips.
It was a bit of a joke given the current bull run. I've been in for a year but I'm pretty much 100% passive in FWRG. Occasionally look for some bargains but I'm seeing absolutely nothing at the moment and everything being at an ATH and rampant is putting me off. I'm putting less in FWRG and building cash now.
Too late to get in on RKLB? I am holding a fair chunk of cash that I usually just regularly DCA into FWRG, but looking to take a few punts now, only everything is ATH and nothing is looking like a bargain.
Help understanding ETFs better and diversification. I have been looking into my ETF’s. I originally chose invesco because of the low fees. I have read my world index (FWRG) is sampling based replication. Please could someone explain this in dumbed out terms as to my understanding money is loaned and money is made with interest payments. Upon reading because collateral is held this is assumed fairly safe. Feels risky, if there is a problem with the collateral not paying out to expected price - would money be lost? Wondering if it’s worth changing etf. My s&p small cap with invesco (USML) is a swap based unfunded replication. I slightly understand swap based but again worries me, possible a big recession, bank goes bust which is providing the swap? Result in lost fund as no real replication? I have no idea what the unfunded part means if someone could explain please. 90% 5% 5% distribution. Realized as I’m in UK I’m loosing a small amount to the exchange rate for small cap and emerging etf (MXFS) - these seem to me now as a bad choice as ftse has emerging and small cap seems super volatile and unsure if in 10+ years it’ll see as good ROI. Opinions and advice would be great thanks. Hope this makes sense, I’m fairly new to this. Thanks in advance.
FWRG opened 3 locations in my city so I bought. Worked out well
If you want an all world fund just buy [FWRG](https://www.invesco.com/uk/en/financial-products/etfs/invesco-ftse-all-world-ucits-etf-acc.html) which has slightly lower charge than VWRP.
FWRG and Cracker Barrel making moves. It’s breakfast time
Anyone eaten at FWRG? Should I buy calls?
FWRG yearly revenue is higher than their entire market cap. Hold my beer I’m going in
Y’all slept on FWRG earnings today. More money for me
Currently have 60% SPXD , 30% FWRG, and 10% ISF around $150 total. What other funds may be a good idea ? I live in the UK
Hi guys, need some advice here. Looking for a long term investment portfolio as only young and thinking of following Warren Buffets advice of a 90/10, stocks/bonds split. I am struggling to find bonds to invest in as a uk investor. Can anyone recommend something like the VANGRSA? At the minute I was going to go for 50% life strategy 80 VANGA80 (to give 10% then 40% global stocks), then 50% VWRP or FWRG. Is this good instead of finding my own bonds? And finally is this strategy even good?
And oh yeah. Buying some FWRG. It’s had a big pullback over the last month or two and I think it’s bottomed and going to go back up to the mid 20s.
Anyone eaten FWRG? Like 3 new locations have opened by me. Calls?
Loading up on FWRG. The next chipotle.
Just hope FWRG and CAVA do not follow suit anytime soon.

FWRG crushes earnings with a 61% EPS beat and still manages to be down 1%. Truly regarded
Why’d FWRG slump to 23.6$ despite rising to 27.4$ pre-market? They had a fantastic earnings beat + strong guidance & projection.. What am I missing? 😕
I am still clueless why FWRG tanked after call started. Beat earnings and revenue.
What the fuck is happening with FWRG
Sadly I was too cheap for the FWRG 25 calls
Did FWRG beat earnings. Didn’t read and Can’t tell
GTLB put credit spreads got blown out. TGT and COST put spreads I think will survive. Got FWRG calls cause I worked there in college and them chickichangas bang

My hand for next week: GPS $24.5c 3/8 BBAI $4.5c 3/8 (x2) BBAI $5c 3/15 GENI $7.5c 3/15 (x3) GRND $10c 3/15 $ANF/$COST/$FWRG - swing through earnings, options too spendy
FWRG earnings. Play a few weeks out, $30 calls. Should hit as expected earnings should be a blowout and every other company in the same industry including sweet greens(up 25% after earnings today) has only gone up. They have better growth than even CAVA. after you make a killing on that, throw in all on SkGR, it’s WEBULL spac. They’re expecting to go public through this spac in the second half of the year. Currently trading at $11 with a floor of $10 it won’t go below until the deal is complete so be sure to sell before it changes. You’ll have plenty notice. I expect $18-$20 off of a hype pump once everyone finds out about it and it gets closer to it going public via De-spac. So almost 100% returns after you already get almost 100% off of SkGR. Meaning you’ll have 8k before the end of the year off of 2 plays. Not financial advice, just giving my ideas and how I’ll be playing. Good luck
3/15 calls on FWRG, bullish on overpriced breakfast sammies
BOOLish on $FWRG $ROST $VSCO and $CRWD DD: I Like eggs, cheap clothes, and panties.
Eating at $FWRG this morning
FWRG gonna have to go on 2nd watch at this rate
FWRG- first watch restaurants. Adding tons of locations. Small restaurant chains always have a lot of potential.
Have any of you noticed how there's a load of small cap companies in the restaurant space that are trading at ridiculous multiples? I'm talking about BROS, PTLO, FWRG, SHAK, etc. I can't help but believe that money is parked here as some kind of thematic "reopening" trade, much like they were in airlines and cruiselines until those guys started missing earnings.
FWRG … First watch restaurant group
Looks like the market cap is ok for this thread so... FWRG
