Anybody know what Ted Farnsworth’s next “Disruptor” company going to be?
Who else got their Moviepass class action payout this?
Where can I buy HMNY?? All current accounts aren't allowing purchasing more?
StockTwitTards on the HMNY board are excited cuz of this news late last year? How does someone buying assets out of Chp7 liquidation matter to the previous companies stock. I’m confused.

PLTR was a Reddit call way before it actually went up. PLTR was pumped a few times before GME got on news. A good test to see if you are OG or not. Reddit as a whole is wrong on PLTR (and AMD) way more times wrong than they have right. There’s a reason AMD is literally called Advanced Money Destroyer here. AMD pump days were alongside RAD, HMNY, and funnily enough, MU. Those were absolutely shit picks for years and years. If you have been here for 5+ years you know what I’m talking about. Here we see SpaceX taking off :) I only got 20 shares but happy to see how it goes.
remember HMNY? the good honest days of buying calls…
You're a college student, fuck off. When I was in post, I lost 30k in HMNY riding it to near zero. Then, made 300k+ trading options and resigned at 36 at 2023-3024 and resigned my job only to YOLO it all. Now, 37 doing forex alg trading while doing back breaking day job. Newsflash: Everybody fuck up in life and losing 8k isn't a good reason. If you're going to prison for a long time, maybe.
Are we buying HMNY again?
Probably best to go all in on HMNY
The last time I remember seeing a chart like this was for HMNY (Moviepass) in like 2017ish.
2500 Share Bag holder for life on HMNY. 🤣
It's an expensive lesson we all learn. Don't make the same mistake twice. HMNY was my lesson.
For all you WSB old timers, there was some homeless dude who kept buying HMNY even as it kept crashing and crashing down
Is it true they are diluting the shares to stop from going bankrupt? I’ll prob buy some to join the hype but I remember HMNY and TOPS from my early trading days so I have PTSD from that.
We all learn this very expensive lesson one way. HMNY was my humbling moment. Funny enough, I got into trading by making 20k on my first option play shorting BYND. Years later the stock is relevant again for some big moves.
Ctrl+F $HMNY, 0 results. Am I the only person regarded enough to have been burnt on this one?
haha! remember NBEV? HMNY?
lol i remember trading weed stocks 2018 when i was 18 and trading $HMNY and 50 companies that are delisted or gone glad I never took a large hit I think im at breakeven now at 24 was profitable all of march april and so far may every session
still holding a share along with HMNY for the legacy
Moviepass, I'll never forget the 15 shares of HMNY because they still sit worthless in my account today as a reminder 😅
Helios and Matheson Analytics (HMNY), Glance Technologies (GLNNF), and Litecoin. I got stupid lucky on Helios but it was an idiotic gamble. Lost money on Glance and Litecoin obviously.
Ahh the HMNY days. Made a few bucks buying puts on that one.
leaving a couple HMNY and NKLA shares in my rh forever as relics of the past
Very few people saw the giant run up in semiconductors over the following years. No serious person was predicting the stock to 10x. I don’t begrudge the people that made a lot of money off of it, happy for them. But 99% of them just got really lucky. You don’t hear much any more about the thousands who lost it all on HMNY or other meme stocks getting pumped around that time
SNAP Formerly movie pass HMNY CVNA
HMNY fuckin MoviePass trauma

My HMNY coming back any day now
It can, movie pass or $HMNY is trading at .0004
Gives me hope for my HMNY stocks.
Trying to think of my first significant loss. It was HMNY in 2017 for that whole Movie pass thing. CEO is in prison now or something. Lost some profit on Tesla but overall I was still up
*HMNY has entered the chat* I’ll be rich!
I lost 25k on HMNY in 2018. I slowly started adding money to my account and making small trades and started reading about stocks. When COVID hit, I invested in Exxon and GE and a few other stocks and basically held firmly until now.
I remember being an HMNY and lost $300,000 went all the way down to literally a couple dollars. have to start a new game plan and be careful kinda hard to start over though when you lost it all
Oh shit... it's the coked up marketing genius that exposed HMNY.
HMNY Created a product that disrupted a legacy industry that everyone knows for predatory pricing. Huge paradigm shift and customers loved it. Unfortunately the company kept reducing the products quality till it was practically useless. Company also had a huge ego and tried to bully legacy companies rather than create a partnership. Led to stock tanking and eventually delisting and bankruptcy. Miss you Moviepass!
I bought like 500 bucks of HMNY (MoviePass) and it went to literal zero. Hell yeah baby
My only stock that’s ever gone to zero was HMNY, the company that owned MoviePass. I bought it for super cheap in the early stages of the collapse. I guess I thought they might rebound, but mostly I was just excited to be able to buy a large number of shares in a company I had heard of. Lost a few hundred bucks. No lesson learned really. Oh also the stock stayed in my account for a super long time. I don’t remember the details, I guess it wasn’t totally delisted like BBBY. I just remember looking at a red -99.9% every time I opened my portfolio.
MoviePass HMNY -100% . Many years ago now. I lost $2,000 and learned a lesson. Worth it in the long run tbh. Validated my strategy of never risking more than a 5% total portfolio loss on a high risk/high reward position.
I bought moviepass (HMNY). My bet lost -107%. My initial "investment" plummeted. I was then charged a trading fee after the reverse stock split. It then went to 0. So I lost my entire investment and then paid a trading fee on top.
Wait. So it’s like HMNY movie pass but car. I forgot what happened to HMNY.
When robinhood didnt have options, The OGs of WSB from 2014 remembers the days of bio stocks FDA trials and HMNY.
HMNY would have saved AMC
[https://www.reddit.com/r/HMNY/](https://www.reddit.com/r/HMNY/)
i was here with HMNY gang
I put $100 into HMNY because I thought it was hilarious to see their stock at $0.02. I thought there was a very slight chance they would turn things around and I’d walk out with $1k. Definitely was worth the laughs when it went to $0.03 for a day and I bragged about achieving 50% returns at the office.
Same with HMNY *MoviePass is gonna change cinema as we know it*
Just like $HMNY did 🤡🥴
Was waiting for someone to mention HMNY
HMNY and ARKK were both bad bets on my part. I sold out of both at a sizable loss. I’m still holding bags for PLTR and CLOV. I believe both will come around eventually.
I was a regular at the movies before the pandemic. Was an OG Moviepass subscriber way back before HMNY lowered the price to $10 and destroyed the business. Nothing replaces the experience of going opening night and being part of the crowd when Mjölnir flies into Cap's hands or Han Solo tells Chewbacca, "We're home." However, that's not a reason to hold the stock. AMC took on billions in debt to remodel and upgrade theaters just before the pandemic hit. Then it was crushed by rent during the lockdown. The only reason the company didn't go bankrupt and close a bunch of locations (like Regal) is because it was a meme stock in this very sub. Without the unexpected infusion of cash it would have quickly gone broke.
Moves made (2 SPX 4020/3990 puts spreads expiring tomorrow + 13 HMNY 30P 4/21), closing the TD app and checking back at 4 PM. Trade safe yall! Pulling an Andre Drummond and taking a break for today!
Full credit to that one along with HMNY for doing that shit then delisting in record time. But those ones lose out by being the Sandy Koufax of this. TOPS is more like the Nolan Ryan of dilution. Able to go on forever even if peak Koufax is better than peak Ryan.
I am a bot. You submitted a picture of a banned ticker, HMNY. The market cap of HMNY is **300,140** This check will fire if you included unnecessary pictures that have bad keywords/phrases. Repost with the useless pictures omitted if you did that.

**You wrote a lot there buddy. Take a deep breath. First off, I don't work for any Hedge Fund. I'm literally a regular guy and a Retail Trader. I have a YouTube channel and stream 2x times a week. I make $2 dollars a month on average, so trust me, I don't do this for the money.** Also, no way a hedge fund or smart money would do something as stupid as be as public as I am. They could be fined or lose their trading licenses. I don't even work in the financial industry or even anything adjacent. I'm just a dude trying to look out for Retail Investors and explain things they might get wrong. **You seem to think I'm someone sent in here to spread FUD but I'm literally not your enemy. I invite you to talk to me directly about it and ask people on our Discord who I really am as a person. I started a FREE server to educate people.** **The honest truth is Wall Street are bullies and they prey on people who didn't spend years getting groomed to fuck the average guy over. I'm a Marine so I don't like that.** I have been in plays that went sideway and I've spent my time trying to educate people on how this stuff works. I could have easily let said nothing but that's not who I am. Common ground: The markets are a corrupt cesspool and they need reform. Now: \*\*\* I did speak to DilutionTracker who stated the used Hudson Name as the placeholder since it was linked to them in WSJ article / Bloomberg articles and this type of deal they have done multiple times to BBIG, MULN, HMNY etc. With those hints in place, they put Hudson's name in there just as a probability since two separate well connected papers linked them to the deal. While it's not officially filed, nothing changes on what is going to happen. \*\*\* Anyone doing this deal is going to be out to make as much money as possible which means the stocks shares outstanding is going to explode. Look at the BBIG, MULN, HYNY and other who had note convertible. =========================== Let's start here: The 90 Day rule you are applying to the wrong company. The filings states BBBY aka "The Company" can't issue out any more securities. **(However, this doesn't apply to the Funds doing the Convertibles)** **In fact, these funds often request this clause to be included so BBBY doesn't dilute on top of them doing the Convertibles and interfere with the share price during that 90 lockout period. This is built in that only these guys exclusive sells.** =========================================================================== Listen you seem to do research. I appreciate that. I hope you join us when you realize I'm not the enemy. I'd love to have someone with your passion in our group.
look at HMNY lot of growth potential
Hey /u/Spiritual_Mine_8990 - I am a bot from /r/wallstreetbets. You submitted one or more banned tickers: HMNY GME. We don't allow discussion of low market cap (less than 500mm) tickers to prevent pump & dump spam and scammers.
HLBZ is a walking corpse. One of the worst set of financials I’ve ever seen. It’s like that MoviePass business from a few years ago. HMNY. Gross margins are negative lol never mind bottom line numbers. There’s a reason why shorts are shorting this thing. They need to go through super duper bankruptcy.
LOL. Only fools will wait to join you bagholding this trash of a stock. Pink sheets will be its home soon together with Ted’s other failed ventures HMNY and PPBV.
I bet on HMNY (Moviepass) back in the day. It went bankrupt. There was no short squeeze. Funds not safu.
Man I miss pre Covid times. Things were much simpler. HMNY was a thing. God wasn’t that a blast? Moviepass lmao. The bulls on that ticker were the most delusional fucks I’ve ever seen. Entire business model was selling a dollar bill for 50 cents. Where’s the next HMNY at? Such an obvious short play. Need more of those.
A story from a few years ago: "One retail investor, a retiree named Ken, contacted Business Insider this month to ask whether we knew about the analyst recommendations, which he had seen on E-Trade and which he said helped inform his decision to buy shares of Helios. (Ken requested his last name not be used when discussing his personal finances.) "I use the analyst research to decide if I am going to buy a stock and after buying it, when to sell," Ken told Business Insider. Had the analysts not recommended buy, he said, "I (and probably others) would not have purchased HMNY, and especially held onto the stock, as the 'buy' recommendation didn't change during the near 100% devaluation." According to E-Trade screenshots shared with Business Insider, Ken began to build his stake in March, when the stock was trading at about $4.50. At the time, both Maxim and Canaccord had buy ratings on the stock, with price targets of $16 and $15. Over the next few months, as the analysts kept their buy ratings and high price targets, Ken put almost $190,000 into Helios, buying hundreds of thousands of shares. Today, that stake is worth about $240." (https://www.businessinsider.com/wall-street-banks-made-millions-in-fees-selling-collapsing-moviepass-shares-2018-8)
Where are all of the arrest warrants for blatant pumpers of the Kodak, GME, and AMC pump and dumps? Why hasn't Reddit been subpoenaed for at least some of the WSBs crowd? Hunt them all down. Every single message board and sub reddit is filled with these vermin pumping worthless trash day in and day out. Expose them and prosecute them. Heck, start with the easy trash. BLIAQ, SHLDQ, and HMNY.
Short answer: Yes, avoid. Long answer: Since I'm banned on the BBIG subreddit for speaking reality, I will do that here. Out of compliance for delinquent Q2 & Q3 fllings & being below $1; has court-appointed CEO due to infighting by the BOD which caused a T12 halt back in August; was associated with Ted Farnsworth who has bankrupted 4 previous publicly traded companies & who is now facing SEC fraud charges on the MoviePass fiasco (google HMNY for a nearly play-for-play template of what was done with BBIG). Only thing the pumpers have is hoping a tiktok ban will somehow make people adopt Lomotif from which BBIG only gets 25% of the revenue due to Ted's PRIVATE company Zash getting 75% of the 80% (even though BBIG paid for it all; are you getting how screwy this is yet?) of what profits Lomo may bring in (the original Lomo developers still own 20% of it). So if none of that scares you, buy buy buy. Otherwise, bye-bye.
Were you following in the days of, say, DRYS, or HMNY?
I'm still holding Movie Pass, or HMNY I think. I got the buyout money from Blue Buffalo and rode HMNY all the way down.
"So...You're saying there's still a chance?" - HMNY
In Oct. 2017 HMNY (parent of Moviepass, a company that did nothing but give people money) was valued at over $100 billion for like a week. Dumbest shit I've ever seen.
I tried to do the same thing with my HMNY shares, but GME was looking so tasty I had to sell for 98% loss and use that $5 on a fractional GME share
Blast from the past. HMNY popped my P&D cherry.
Man HMNY was some real OG's shit. I had just started lurking WSB when that shitshow started.
Former CEOs of MoviePass and Parent Company Charged in Securities Fraud Scheme >“As alleged, the defendants deliberately and publicly engaged in a fraudulent scheme designed to falsely bolster their company’s stock price,” >The indictment alleges Farnsworth and Lowe falsely claimed that MoviePass’s $9.95 “unlimited” plan – in which new subscribers could see “unlimited” movies in theaters with no blackout dates for a flat monthly fee of $9.95 – was tested, sustainable, and would be profitable or break even on subscription fees alone. Farnsworth and Lowe allegedly knew that the $9.95 “unlimited” plan was a temporary marketing gimmick to grow new subscribers and, in turn, artificially inflate HMNY’s stock price and attract new investors. As a result, MoviePass lost money from the $9.95 “unlimited” plan. >In addition, Farnsworth and Lowe allegedly made false claims that HMNY possessed and used technologies – like “big data” and “artificial intelligence” platforms – to generate revenue by analyzing and monetizing the data MoviePass collected from subscribers. However, the indictment alleges that Farnsworth and Lowe knew HMNY did not possess these technologies or capabilities to monetize MoviePass’s subscriber data or incorporate these technologies into the MoviePass application. https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/former-ceos-moviepass-and-parent-company-charged-securities-fraud-scheme Burning through money and throwing around meaningless buzzwords is securities fraud now 😳 Big tech CEOs getting real nervous all of a sudden 😖
Bo holdings currently. Major Losses in $TSLA, $SNAP, $CLOV, $HMNY.

It’s my HMNY shares from 2018 that I’m too cheap to close out.

$HMNY was brutal, I followed the herd as well on that one. Totally delusional in hindsight that it would’ve amounted to anything.
This reminds me of the $HMNY guy.
I am a real OG. I remember HMNY Good old movie pass. Happened around when I first joined the sun and started trading. Crazy times.
I guess everyone here doesn’t remember HMNY…..
Does anyone know where to buy HMNY???
I'll say it again if BBBY goes to $2 I will buy in again for 10 shares and it can go join my movie pass HMNY 54 shares in purgatory. Until then I am out (could have been a tidy profit from yesterday to today but its going back down again today is not the day to buy)
If it hits $2, I'll buy back in for 10 shares, they can go with my 54 HMNY moviepass shares
I don't think it will, I leaned my lesson from the beatings I took on GME, its why when it hit $9 I got my ass out of dodge and loss a grand total of $3 (I actually sold at $8.97 I was rounding up). Its going down like the 54 shares of Moviepass (HMNY) I still own
The HMNY I still hold in my account reminds me of how this normally goes when I have those thoughts.
Still holding my 40 shares of HMNY. They’re gunna make a come back, I can feel it.
Oh man. I had like 2500 shares of HMNY. I sold it back during the GME days because I was ashamed and thought everyone on here would laugh at me if they saw I still had it when I posted a screenshot lol. Little did I realize, I traded away a badge of honor.
HMNY should be in the hall of fame of how to grift stupid people out of money [and laugh while doing it.](https://cdn.celluloidjunkie.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/11173110/MoviePass-Mitch-Lowe-CEO-and-HMNY-CEO-Ted-Farnsworth-1024x683.jpg)
