That was IDN at $7.50/share cost basis. Sold at $1.85. Take the loss, ***take the lesson***, and stop falling prey to the sunk cost fallacy. *In life it is a rarity for there to be a comeback story of epic proportions. That's why we make movies of those rare stories.* At least in the states you can claim the loss on your taxes to lower your taxable income. So there is some benefit in selling, where there's no benefit to holding.

Noob here.. wondering what would be wrong with my strategy.. If you screen by RSI 80+, pattern TL resistance, optionable and shortable, volume 1M+ and analyze these stocks, what would be wrong with buying put LEAPS on these expecting these overbought stocks to eventually come crashing down? Like right now we can see IDN, FDX, GPS all fit this screening so what would be wrong with LEAPS puts? Not saying it's a guarantee but wouldn't our POP be <50%?
No matter the climate, There are companies that fit that description and haven't had their big break yet. $IDN has continually renewing contracts with most of the big 12 banks, Progressive insurance, police departments and retailers all across the country. It's no Amazon yet at under $3 and the company is over 20 years old with like no debt.
